Matt (and helper) were AMAZING. I just bought a new house and when I was moving in I noticed my AC wasn't working. I called Star and they came to my house, noticed my furnace was illegally hooked up. They installed a new furnace, completed the installation of the AC unit (which was not complete either) and were done in like 6 hours. They were polite, explained everything they were doing, explained everything that was wrong with my old system and even swept up after they were done. Because of their communication I was even able to contact the company that did the inspection and get reimbursed partially. I definitely recommend Star they are ROCKSTARS!

I had an issue with my furnace on a Friday night in January. I called Star's on call emergency hotline and was called back immediately by Ryan. He gave me a few things to check to see if they would fix the problem so that he wouldn't have to charge me for an easy fix, which I greatly appreciated. Those things did not work, so he came out immediately.

He spent a few hours thoroughly examining all the components of the furnace and identifying a few potential issues. The problem was fixed and Ryan was professional, nice, and you can tell he's passionate about helping people and solving problems. When he gave me the bill I couldn't believe how inexpensive it was for the amount of time and effort Ryan put in.

Very impressed with this company and would recommend them to anyone! ***Follow up: About a year later we needed a total HVAC replacement. I reached out to 3 companies for quotes. Star was the most affordable, professional, and explanatory as they walked me through the process of what was going to happen. They gave me 4 options for replacements and when they were out of the option I selected, they upgraded me for free!

Not only that, but we finalized the purchase around 4 pm on a Monday and they were there the next morning to replace the furnace/AC. I couldn't believe it! The installers (Matt and Mark) were great, down to earth, professionals who know their stuff inside and out. At this point I feel as though I've met nearly everyone at Star from the office personnel, repair team, sales reps, and installers and all of them are salt of the earth people who do an outstanding job at a fair price. We need more businesses like this in our city! I'm thrilled to give Star my business and you will be too!

The gentleman that came out from Star Heating and Cooling for my spring cleaning was on time and professional. I signed up for their maintenance plan while he was here. The pricing on the maintenance plan is really good. A few days later I had a service call and the gentlemen that came out were on time and also very professional. I would highly recommend them for your HVAC needs.

We were extremely pleased with our service from Star Heating and Cooling LLC. We were in need of a whole new system, as well as wanting to move our AC unit location, and they handled every step of it. This highly trained, friendly, professional staff was such a pleasure to work with. Bryan Conway was our salesman and he was nice, knowledgable and super easy to work with.

He gave us several options, happily answered all questions we had, and didn't pressure us to spend more money than we were comfortable with. Sarah Wallace made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. She coordinated getting an electrician add electric in the new AC location, made sure our house was cool when our AC unexpectedly stopped working, before the new one was installed, was alway quick to respond and communicate with us. Donovan came out and was able to get our old AC up and running, during the 90 degree week we were having, while we waited for our install to take place. Matt and Mark spent the day at our house installing both the new AC unit and new furnace.

They were both so nice. Every single person we encountered was so friendly and professional. It is apparent they love their jobs and their customers. Kudos to this family owned business for valuing your employess, who all seem very happy, and your customers. While we hope to not need these services for many, many years to come, Star Heating and Cooling LLC now has us as customers for life and we couldn't recommend them more to anyone needing heating and cooling services in their home. We cannot speak highly enough about this company and it's employees!

We called Star on a very warm weekend when our air conditioner went out. Unfortunately, our coils had frozen, Matt was great and gave us instructions on what to do to get them thawed as quickly as possible and came out the next day. It ended up that we had a leak somewhere in our 19 year old system. Matt gave us great advice on what he thought we should and shouldn't do.

We really appreciated the fact he didn't try to sell us services that were pretty useless on a very old system. We ended up doing a quick bandaid fix to get us through, and decided to purchase an entire HVAC system with Star. Brian was super helpful in giving us all the info on the different systems and worked with us to pick the right one for us. Matt was the one who installed it for us and he answered all of our questions and was super informative. We will definitely be using Star for our maintenance on our new system and any other needs we might have in the future. Thanks to everyone at Star!

This person with license tag L991900 speeds, goes in and out of lanes, and cuts people off. Extremely dangerous driver. Good way to represent your company. Hilarious he drives that way and then just turned into a liquor store at 5:25pm today 06/22/21. Pos.

I've been using Star for several years and would recommend them to anyone. I first met the owner, Sarah, when I was working for a company that had Star as a client, and so I tried them out when I needed some routine maintenance done on my home's HVAC. They did a great job, were very honest with me, and did not use any pressure sales tactics or any of that other nonsense. Eventually, the AC system at my house went out and I had to purchase a new one.

The technician was very honest with me about my options and, while he did recommend a new system, his reasoning was sound and he wasn't pushy. I went with the new system and they set me up with 24-months of 0% financing instead of the standard 12, which I appreciated as well. I'm now sitting here in my comfortably cool house while the 90+ degree afternoon burns outside, so I am "highly satisfied" with Star. 10/10, would recommend.

Our AC went out over the 4th of July holiday weekend. Star promptly called back and sent a tech, Ryan, to our home within an hour, which was at 10pm on a Sunday. Another local company never returned our call. Ryan was very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, our 16 year old unit was not repairable. Bryan came out the next morning and gave us AC unit options.

He was not pushy and did not try to up-sell us on a non necessary unit or push to replace the furnace at the same time (which works fine). Installers came the next morning. Our service call fee was applied to the price of our unit. We were very pleased with what we ended up paying. It was quick and easy on our end. The installers were quick & efficient. We have already recommended them to two other friends who had the unfortunate experience of having their AC go out within the last few days and they are using Star as well.

We are impressed with their technical abilities backed by an owner/operator who taught HVAC. The service people take the time to listen to our experiences with the system(s) and then start the trouble shooting. Star has 99% success rate at correcting the problem, the first time. Thanks!

When our furnace stopped working we feared the worst. Ryan came out and quickly determined that condensation was collecting and the drain pipe was clogged. Happy to pay the modest service fee. Thank you for your timely service, professionalism and integrity!

Star Heating and Cooling just installed new Carrier furnaces and A/C units for me as well as a humidifier. They were absolutely amazing. Rachel made sure that all rebates and paperwork was taken care of, all installation was worked around my schedule, warranty was taken care of by Rachel. She took care of everything for us. There was no mess and where the new A/C units replaced my old Trane units, they look so much better and stable than before. I highly recommend Star for any HVAC needs.

It was a pleasure working with Marshall during the bidding process. Everything was very transparent - including the model numbers, corresponding brochures, what the Carrier rebate was going to be. He was also very responsive in answering my questions and assuring me about the quality of installation etc. I got a very competitive bid, so I didn't negotiate the price any further.

The installation crew did a great job. AC is working great, and I have a follow up appointment next week for them to come and check that everything is working well, and also to fire up the furnace and complete the humidifier hook up. So far it has been a good experience. It feels like I can trust this company.

My air conditioner stopped working and I called Star for Service around 9am. They gave me a very reasonable time frame for the appointment (12 -3 the same day). The office called me back to let me know the technician was at another job that was taking a little longer but I was next on the list. The office called me back a 2nd time to let me know the technician would be there within 30 minutes and he was.

Great Communication! When Otis arrived he was very nice and got right to work. He figured out the problem within 10-15 minutes! He had to run back to the shop for the correct part but this was quick. The air conditioner was up and running! The diagnostic and material fee was very reasonable. I will be using Star in the future for my heating and cooling needs. 5 Stars!

Star is always considerate of your time and are careful with your home. Love the email reminders to set an appointment for regular maintenance with our maintenance agreement. Also the knowledgable, friendly staff is always willing to answer questions and are not trying to "sell" you anything every time they come to your home.
