Our AC stopped working while we are all home, distance learning and working from home. Woodcock came out quickly and managed a repair on our unit! I was so thrilled we did not have to replace the entire condenser! They were professional, thorough, and honest! Something I don't see much with maintenance and repairs these days. I so appreciate the service they provided at a great price! I will recommend Woodcock to all my family and friends! Our house is again cool as this hot, stay-at-home summer begins. Thank you! Awesome place!

Let me start by saying that I do appreciate them coming out as quickly as they did, however I do feel like our "emergency" was looked at as an opportunity to take advantage of us. When we realized we had no heat we needed to get someone to our home ASAP. The technician that came out was in the house for all of 10 -12 min and let my husband know that we needed to replace the thermocouple.
He also said that this was a very common issue but that he did not have the parts he needed in the truck and for those he had to take a ride to Hartford. No one ever talked cost at this point, aside from the labor cost the lady on the phone had made us aware of in addition to the cost of parts. I had no clue that the trip to Hartford was part of the labor rate which was $105 per hour and that it also would cost me an additional $15 dollars for the maintenance of their vehicle (Trip Charge) After getting back from the 1 hour trip to Hartford and back and replacing the copper line the technician came across yet another common issue that happens all the time but unfortunately he did not have the parts he needed in his truck so he had to take a second trip to Hartford.
Call me crazy but if you know this second issue is so normal why not come prepared after the 1st trip out for parts. Needless to say that this very common issue ended up costing close to 600 dollars. After calling and arguing the charge we were compensated 100 dollars, we ended up paying more for parts and time the technical spent on the road than what the actual labor time was. Never again!
