DO NOT USE THESE CROOKS! We had a sewer line clog with water suddenly spewing from the downstairs toilets. Ritz Plumbing was the first to arrive and we let them go ahead with the work considering the flooding that was taking place. They dug a hole for a new pipe in an area they shouldn't have, then added a sleeve through the pipe to the city's main sewer line which turned out to be unnecessary and without prior approval from our city, against code.

The price - $13,000! We were told by the city and other plumbing professionals that the repair work should have cost no more than $500. Our neighbor saw the Ritz guys working on our pipe and caught them laughing about how they were taking us to the cleaners. Small claims court here we come!

Worked With Jesus and he was super helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely use Ritz again in the future.

I could not be happier with my experience with Ritz! I had a leak under my bathroom sink and was set to be hosting 8 people in a matter of hours. My landlord found Ritz and they responded immediately, sending out two techs within a few hours (and I live pretty remotely by LA standards). Ismael and Jose were friendly, explained everything, and super prompt in their diagnosis and fix of my issue. The replacement part they installed is also top notch quality and very attractive. We've used Ritz Plumbing for many jobs, from replacing the water heater to replacing all the gas lines under the house. They respond quickly and do excellent work at a reasonable cost. Most recently we called them because we suddenly had no gas and were mystified. Abel came out within a couple of hours and fixed everything. He didn't make us feel like idiots for not knowing how to turn our gas back on after inadvertently shutting it off by bumping the outside meter. From large jobs to small stuff, they're the best.

Jesus Jiminez and his crew came out to diagnos and repair a blocked line. They repaired the block and everything is working great now. It was a large job involving a deep dig and sleeve. Thank you Jesus for takikng time to get it done correctly. We appreicate it!

I had them come out replace my house gas line as it was leaking. They sent the entire crew here AND while that crew was working, they replaced my tankless waterheater. JON is amazing. Always friendly and certainly knows what he is doing. I would go with Ritz if you have an immediate need.

Andres and Gato were great. They not only fixed everything but they also educated me on why the problems were happening. They gave me a great price under what everyone else I called quoted and were super cool guys. Would def recommend.

Ask for Oscar and Gilbert! They came all the way out to my home, the same day I called. And not only did they fix the issue I originally called about, but they completely went out of their way to make sure the rest the issues the previous plumber had created for us was resolved. Over the past few years I have had a handful of plumbing issues. Carlos and Ray have consistently responded quickly, been able to come out quickly, and got the jobs done quickly. They are reliable, responsive, polite and have great work ethics. I will continue to use them and highly recommend them.

Great service and excellent customer service. We had a main line burst at 8 pm. We called Ritz and they were at the site within 30 minutes! They stoped the leak right away and the next day replaced the pipes for us. They went above and beyond to get our water restored. They are true professionals and highly recommended. John was amazing and came out super quickly to set up our propane. He checked for any gas leaks and fixed them same day. Highly recommended. This was at a time when no other plumber was available due to covid. I super appreciate John's work ethic and responsiveness.

This past Sunday our ancient water heater started leaking and we needed to get someone to deal with it right away. My two main plumbers couldn't handle the job until Tuesday or Wednesday so I called Ritz. I used to use Ritz all the time from 1991 to 2011 but once the original owners sold quality dropped and we moved on. But now, Ritz was the only company that responded on a Sunday of a Holiday weekend. Gilbert came out same day and quickly confirmed my fear that I needed a new heater.

He also diagnosed a couple of things that I hadn't noticed and was professional and on point. He was already wearing a KN-95 which I appreciated. He replaced a leaky hose and stabilized things. He agreed to come back in AM first thing and Cap the system until he could do a FULL Tankless Install Monday afternoon around 3PM explaining he had two other jobs previously scheduled. Monday AM he came and capped the offending water outflow.

Then shortly after 3PM he and Jerry came and starting installing. At 737PM we had hot water again. It was quite a big job: decommissioning old gas tank heater and removing all from basement, extending gas and water to rear outside of house, installing new Navien Unit, and troubleshooting. Came back Tuesday to clean up and tighten up a few things. (We again were a second or third job but Gilbert still showed up at the end of the day.).

He also did a bunch of things that needed to be done with our water line and didn't charge anything additional. Pricing was good both fair and competitive. Gilbert (and Jerry) did a great job.

We had a horrible experience with this company. They charged us $12,000 for a job that should have been maybe $3000 at the most. The managers at the office were rude and disrespectful. They would not answer questions and we could not get any explanation for what was done at the house. Do not use this company. Very unprofessional. Poor work

I had a great and easy experience with Ritz which gave me peace of mind. I was extremely anxious to find out from my neighbors that my garage had flooded over the Christmas holiday week when I was away from home. I called Ritz in a panic and they sent Ray and Carlos quickly to assess the situation. I have a routine plumber however I was never once told the root of the problem.

My usual plumber would always charge me to just bandaid the issue. When Ray and Carlos came, they gave me a detailed analysis of the root problem. To my surprise they were pricey but worth every dollar for the repair. Thanks Ritz for saving the holiday and a great experience!

Please check their rating on the Better Business Bureau website before hiring! They are unscrupulous and will bully for payment even when they have not done the proper work required.

They gave me a cost to move a hot water heater which I agreed to. The price was about what I expected. A little higher than I wanted to pay, but they did come and do the work right away, so maybe that was the trade off. The work was completed well. The hot water heater was installed properly and up to code. We had an inspector look at it and he signed off on the work.

My only complaint was they came in the morning and did some work, then left and came back 3 hours later to finish up, leaving us without water. I know contractors do this sometimes to maximize their time, but it is a little annoying. anyway I would definitely call them again in the future and give then first dibs on the job. whatever job it might be. I hope I never have to call another plumber or contractor, but things go south sometimes don't they?

Critical: Professionalism, Value Don't give them your credit card number to hold an appointment time! They charged $1200 to my card without my authorization, they did no work and gave me estimates of $4600 for work that was not needed. I called Ritz Plumbing in a pinch to swap out existing faucet hardware in my Roman Tub. The job would include cutting and reconfiguring five short pipes, and dropping in the new hardware I purchased. When I scheduled the work I told their representative every detail about the job. When their technician showed up he had absolutely no idea what he was doing, but did tell me first off the job could not be done today. Which, was the whole reason he was there to begin with.

After taking several photos, he sent the pictures to his manager to get a price. He then told me it would be $3,500 to swap cut the pipes and swap out the faucets, which I was providing. My response was "are you serious", he then told me he could call back his manager and probably get the price down to $3000. At that point, I basically showed him the door, and as he was walking out he said he understood.

This job, "worst case scenario" was somewhere between $600-$800, and this company thinking I'm inexperienced and desperate, tried to charge me six times that price. My only comment is, BEWARE!

Tried to scam my grandma. Told her the main line was broken and she had to fix it immediately. Luckily she called me up. Turns out it was just a clogged drain in the kitchen. Brought in a second opinion, nothing wrong with her plumbing. They checked the main line with the camera. Real crooks.

I had a flooded toilet in one of my rentals units and Jesus, Hercules and the crew pull up and within minutes took care of the problem. Its amazing work They change the idea that licensed plumbers are unaffordable. When doing some work in the kitchen, I discovered a very old, cracked pipe behind the drywall, leaking water from the second floor. I had no idea who to call and tried a couple places before luckily happening upon Ritz Plumbing, who could send someone out right away. The technicians were prompt and professional. They found where the leak was coming from, explained exactly what was going on, and how to fix it. Spoiler alert: it was toilet water shooting into the kitchen walls every time the toilet flushed. Gross.

The entire original cast iron pipe going from the second floor down to the crawl space needed to be replaced, along with a corroded copper pipe beside it. They gave me an estimate and were able to schedule the repair for first thing the next morning. They assured me they would complete the entire job in one day, and they did. They had to cut into the walls and were very conscientious about where they made cuts, demo-ing as little as possible and carefully avoiding the crown molding.

And they left the space very clean when they were done. Every member of the team was great, but Luis really went above and beyond. He noticed the tankless water heater we'd had put in a couple weeks prior (by a different company) hadn't been installed correctly and wasn't up to code. Because of him, I called the previous company back and they admitted their mistakes and are fixing them.

I definitely recommend Ritz Plumbing (especially Luis, John, and the rest of their team) and plan to use them again for another big job which, thankfully, has nothing to do with toilet water.

We had two leaking faucets and past experience that one was going to leak right out the handles. Ritz came out the same day. Jesus came over and checked both faucets, taking them apart, checking everything from bathroom and kitchen pipes to faucet washers. He also lowered the scalding temp of the water heater for us. Jesus returned the next day as promised, with Gilbert.

They replaced parts, brought a new kitchen faucet, did a perfect install then reported the problematic condition of our pipes, including possible lead, and the news that our water meter was spinning wildly even though we weren't running anything--a leak somewhere. They promptly contacted the owner with an estimate and plan. Jesus and Gilbert were professional, reliable and delightful to work with.

Oscar and Gato were amazing. Super fast and efficient. They walked me through the piping system and explained what led to the issue, then snaked and flushed the line in under 30 min. excellent!

I really wouldn't even give these guys 1 star. They are crooks and I want to warn everyone to NOT use them. My first experience with them was great. They came out quickly, fixed my problem, and their price was very reasonable and that is why I called them out when i encountered a leak coming from my back bedroom down into my garage. My husband asked them how much it would be to find the leak and was quoted $100 so we gave them the go ahead.

Once the leak was found (which took no time) we were given an estimate of over $4000 to fix the leak to which my husband said no because we only had set aside $500 for the entire job. They offered to reduce it first to $3500, then to $3000, and last offer was $2700. We did not have them do any work but ended up being charged $1000 for them to cut a small hole in the roof of our garage and find the leak.

We ended up having another company come out and fix it which all it needed was the bathtub drain needed to be resealed and it cost us $110. We have disputed the charge with our credit card company. DO NOT USE RITZ PLUMBING!

We needed a new commercial water heater for a 20 unit building ASAP. Oscar at Ritz was very responsive and took care of the job immediately. Unfortunately we had a connection burst the night after they installed it. It wasn't their fault, but they came back quickly and spent a full day replacing parts and didn't charge us extra. I can't praise them enough! They were responsible and accommodating beyond expectations! I highly recommend them.

Came over extremely fast to diagnose problem and quote price. But then came back the next day to do the work. Helped connect my new sink in my new kitchen. Had to move some of the pluming around. And missing piece to garbage disposal. They went and got the extra part and also some parts to level my dishwasher. Kitchen contact also didn't cut a hole for dishwasher connection so they cut then hole as well. Work was quick and done super well.

Ulisses was our plumber from Ritz. He is a very thorough plumber! He is polite, experienced and very neat and clean. He installed a new garbage disposal for us. It is beautiful, quiet and no more leaks! Thanks Ulisses! I happily recommend him.

We called with a broken toilet on a holiday (July 5). The friendly dispatcher sent a plumber (Jesus) out within the hour who quickly diagnosed the problem - there were issues with the turn-off valve and regulator under the house - and replaced the broken flushing valve. Great job, Jesus!

G-d Bless Ritz plumbing No joke I had 10 different plumbers come to my house and kept saying the same thing! I needed a new cartridge and they were all wrong! Jose came by and diagnosed the problem by calling the manufacturer and realizing the original plumber installed it incorrectly and let me know how to go about getting it fixed! Carlos and Andres came and fixed the problem fast and cleaned up afterwards! These guys are the best in the business and they even cleaned up afterwards! Love you guys

Loved that Josh showed up in a mask with safety being a concern but I didn't have to worry because he kept it on the entire time he was here. My daughter in law recommended Ritz and I'm so glad she did. I had a serious leak that needed someone who was skilled in complicated plumbing issues. I couldn't be more pleased with his work performance.

He was professional and friendly. He was a hard worker and didn't take a break even when I offered to get him lunch. When I called yesterday I was also impressed with the friendly manner of Stephanie who scheduled an appointment the same day for a look see to determine what needed to be done. Joshua came out and discussed repairs with me and wrote up the repair order.

He was back today to do the work that lasted a little over 4 hours. I will recommend him and Ritz to anyone I know who needs an excellent plumber who is willing to do the job right. Thank you Josh!

I had a good experience with Ritz plumbing. I did not know who to call because I'm not used to dealing with skilled trades. The two people sent by Ritz Plumbing were Jesus and Josh. They worked well as a team to fix the two problems. A friend recommended this company to fix the two problems 1) a gasket was corroding and leaking in the down pipe under my kitchen sink.

I had to place a container under the sink to collect the water. Jesus from Ritz plumbing was sent with his assistant Josh. It seemed like Jesus was the team lead. Fortunately all the parts needed to fix the leak were in their inventory, so no need for Ritz to come back and repair it later. They laid out a plastic sheet to keep from debris spreading around under the sink and the kitchen floor.

I appreciated them being mindful of cleanliness. The took their time to do a replacement of the gasket and it fortunately no longer leaks. And the pipes look good below when they asked me to check it. No more visible corrosion. They also assessed the other gaskets to be sure there was no further corrosion. There wasn't so I don't expect any leaks to happen again. 2) the toilet needed to be tightened as it was moving and loose. It's a special Toto toilet and they discovered wear on the bracket.

The bracket needs to be replaced and the part will be ordered to fix the problem Jesus and Josh were the two people who worked on the job. Once the part is ordered, I prefer they be the ones who come back. They were excellent to deal with

I had a bad experience with another company, so I called Ritz for a second opinion, . They were very detailed over the phone and in person. Noel came out to check my heater and gave me my options. He also showed me the problem so that I can understand what he was explaining to me. Very professional and detailed. They care about their customers, and not just interested in getting over on people, they give you all available options, so they saved me from spending a lot of money which wasn't necessary because they fixed the problem in a very timely manner. I will be using them in the future

This company said they would warranty their work, said they be out to make a repair canceled on us then rescheduled, then forgot they rescheduled so rescheduled again, and then shows up several hours after they told you they would be there. A total rip off. It was like buying a used car. The job should of cost $250. but cost $4000. for a simple sewer repair. 1 guy showed up, then two, then 5. Tried to get me to spend more. The only positive things about this job was Ramon. Professional, on time and very polite. The girls in the office are nice too. Overall, I would NEVER call Ritz again no matter what.

It took 2 months to get an inspector out to verify the job. This job was for my mom of 94 who died 2 weeks later. The job was on Chariton in LA. This was a set up from the get go. NEVER call these people again no matter what. A true SCAM.

My bathroom sink pipes exploded in the morning and the water was pouring out of all the pipes. Ritz sent two guys over (Jesus and Gilbert) and everything was fixed within 10 min. They even checked my shower to make sure the filters were clean and helped increase the water pressure for me. Afterwards they cleaned up all of the water on the ground for me. They were super nice and professional. They even took off their shoes before entering, which I really appreciated. Would definitely use their services again.

Horrific! Do not use. Absolute shiesters. They prey on the elderly. They must be paying their Yelp dues. *After placing this review, I was just phoned by Jesus J. and harrassed for doing so!

Piping near our water heater was leaking. Andres arrived to fix our water heater within 30 minutes of calling. He immediately diagnosed the problem. He offered a reasonable price that included all parts and labor - there were absolutely no hidden fees at the end. He was professional and always wore a mask (because of covid) during a 107F day. He bought replacement parts at a hardware store and then replaced our water pressure regulator and some nipples near our water heater pump. Problem solved. Everything went smooth.

We had a refrigerator delivered today and they were supposed to install it - which of course they didn't and left me with 2 units. The water hose needed to be switched over from one to the other. My wife and I were determined to have the job finished today and these guys picked up right away (on a Saturday.during coronavirus) and said they had an appointment for tomorrow morning.

I got a call back about 10 minutes later to say that they could actually come by this afternoon! Right on time (which was a relief since the actual delivery guy was 2 hours late), Tony showed up and had the job completely finished in 10 minutes. He was able to take care of the swap quickly and efficiently and was polite and professional the entire time.

The pricing was fair and we couldn't be happier. We have some other plumbing work we've been meaning to do around the house and we'll be asking for Tony by name. Thanks for coming to the rescue today guys!
