Got a word of mouth recommendation for this company after one of my bids came in as an outlier. Quoteed me for an R-22 changeout in a 27 year old rental duplex. Bid came in as lowest before adding an extended warranty and service contract and was still within a $100 of lowest even then. Installers did a great job of mating the indoor unit to the plenum using sheet metal instead of the "cheater" accordian that the builder used.
My only "complaint, " if you can call it that, is that the new (Emerson) thermostat provided has you go into a "secret" menu for adjusting the short cycle lockout timer, but it's still a quality unit from a good manufacturer (ICP/Carrier/Tempstar). Overall would use again.

I received nothing but professionalism from the initial phone call for service to the final work completed. I had same day service and it was fixed with full explanation to was was going on with my a/c unit. I highly recommend central heat and air and will definitely call them again if needed. After a couple of weeks into Spring, our A/C system went out. We called Central Heat & Air Company to come out and fix our system. They responded quickly and promptly. Matthew came out and within a short time had us up running and had our house cooling off. We really had a great experience with this company and we look forward to using them again.

My heat pump was not cooling, call several companies and they said they could not see me for at least a week. Then I called Central Heat and Air and even though I was not a regular customer they were able to see me the next day. Matt came out an assist my problem quickly and inform me that the unit could not be repaired efficiently and that I needed a new unit.
He was very friendly and courteous and explain the situation to where I understood he even sent pictures to my phone. Unfortunately I could not use them to to replace my unit because I have a home warranty and they have their own company. But if I could use them for full service I would definitely do it. I recommend this company to anyone.

This may be one of the best customer service I've ever received. Tony was very responsive and helpful with all of my questions. He sent his team led by Larry to install my new system. They were very considerate with my home, my dog, my schedule, and all of my questions. They arrived around 8:45am and were done with everything and my house was cooled off by lunch time! They even swept up after themselves! Very impressed! I will recommend highly and I'm very picky about who I give my business to. Thank you guys! I truly mean that!

I called Central when our blower motor went out and they had their service technician, Frank Fugent out to our house the following day. He ordered the parts we needed which came within a few days and installed them in short order. Frank also found the beginning of black mold in which he informed us what was needed to stop it. Frank was great! He answered all our questions and explained things in a step by step way of what he was doing so we could understand. He was patient, kind, courteous, efficient and professional. We have used Central for years and wouldn't use anyone else. Thank you Central and thank you Frank Fugent!

I had to have my entire HVAC unit replaced. I was extremely stressed and Frank was compassionate and patient during the entire process. The team showed up on time, communicated effectively and was friendly and respectful the entire time. Any time I had a question they were happy to answer and patient. Tony Bishop came to my house to fix my air conditioning, was leaking water on the inside he came inspect he found that the pipe connected wrong connect it to the right one checked my freon it took him a total of 5 mins to do what he did then he said I am going to my truck to see how much it will be came back it was 239.00 I said that's high for what you did I payed him when I got too work I called him to tell him to resend my receipt to my email h goes on to tell me we going to refund 94 dollars to you they had to charge me 94 dollars t check Ferone w he told me that i told him I was going to talk to a friend of mine who works at the police station he got scared refund all of my money brought it to me at work do not use these people are a rip off I reported them to BBB

No i do not recommend this company for your ac needs. they wanted to charge me 700 dollars to replace my condenser fan motor " and if you need freon it will be more".we did it our selfs and it was 100 dollars for the motor.i bought the fan blades for 60 dollars and capacitor for 50.about 210 to get it fixed. he wanted to charge 700 just for the condenser fan motor! i do need to find a good heating and air conditioning company here in cleveland.so if you know of any one let me know!
