I have given this company 1 star, but i wish i could give them less! We asked for this company to do a warranty repair of a brand new True freezer, that needed a fan aligned. The technician apparently plugged it into the wrong outlet, causing the breaker to flip. He then took it upon himself to take stuff apart, and spent several hours working on something that just needed to be plugged into another outlet.

We then received a bill for over $500, which we disputed due to the fact he never questioned us about the electrical issue (if he had we could have told him to use the correct outlet) nor did he get approval to work on anything other than the fan. We asked to speak to a manager regarding this issue, and the person we spoke with, accused us of everything from not using a licensed electrician (the electricians we use, have done work at Hamilton place mall, and the TN aquarium, and they are certainly licensed), to accusing us of "having ill intentions from the start".

He then proceeded to threaten us, and said he would call True Refrigeration and have them void our warranty. When he stated this, we asked if he was threatening us, and he replied with "Yes I am! I'm gonna get paid!" at which point we told him we were going to end the conversation. I have never had a worse experience with a business! This has been the most unprofessional and stressful interaction i have ever had with any company!

In response to below statement: Sir in regard to including Snap Fitness in this review that is not who you are doing business with but Scenic City Smoothie. In regards to the credit card on file; we gave the card we use for all business transactions to the customer service representative via phone, and we can not help if this was transcribed incorrectly.

We have a licensed contractor; Fairview Construction, that has licensed personnel and sub-contractors and was inspected by the Hamilton County Inspector and certified that all electrical work was per code and in working order. If you have an issue with our electrical system then I guess this is an issue with a licensed and bonded company and the Hamilton County Government who certified our business.

You sir have been unprofessional in this matter and have been reported to the BBB as well as the State of Tennessee. I have done business with dozens of companies as a business owner and have never had this experience. Your threats and vulgar language on the phone, which was over a recoded line, will be addressed and we will be reaching out to all available assets in this regard. If you continue this action we will be forced to take any and all action, including legal action if necessary. I hope that this can be done civilly in future communications.

Sent in for a warranty fix for our brand new unit. The technician came out and fixed the unit but then spent time doing electrical work outside the scope of his work. We then were charges over $300 for work that we did not approve or even ask for. Will no lt use this company again for any warranty service. Update below I have never in my life had a worse experience with a company than with Engineered Refrigeration Systems.

Not only did they perform work that was not authorized by us on a warranty work system for a brand new unit and demand payment for it, but the owner of the company just threatened me. I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and hostile company in my life. If you own a Tru refrigeration unit do not use this company. We will be reporting this company to the Tennessee Consumer Affairs tomorrow when they open.
