I've used them at my old condo for a full HVAC system replacement. It was a nightmare job, we needed a crane to get the system on the roof, the system itself was a super hard to find unit and they did everything perfectly. And for $6000 less than Viglione quoted. I used them again recently for a service of my AC at new house, and the secretary setting the appointment had a really bad attitude.
The service tech that came out more than made up for it. He was super nice, friendly, knowledgeable and even taped up some hanging insulation near where the air handler was. Answered all my questions. Above and beyond for sure.

Had a freeze-stat installed on heating pipes in the attic that were prone to freezing and ultimately bursting. Dave's service was impeccable and the installation professionally done. I was walked through everything and observed the testing to confirm functionality. Fair price too! Looking forward to resting easy knowing a strategy is in place to avoid future complications.

The technician who came to look at our furnace was very unprofessional. He failed to explain what was broken and why it needed to be replaced, to the point where my stepmother who was visiting had to explain what he was talking about. The prices were also exorbitant. I ended up finding another company who is able to do the job for almost $4000 less. Overall, not a great experience with them. (Also this account is under my maiden name, if they are unable to find my name in their records). However, if you need quick service, they are able to provide that, and all of the people who actually do the scheduling and dispatching are very friendly.

I have used Nero twice now for general HVAC issues I've had with my new house and both times I have been so incredibly pleased with their response. Everything from their scheduling office responses, timely arrival, technician knowledge and professionalism, and (most importantly) price were great. Both technicians (Steven and Dave) that have arrived to do work identified the issues quickly and resolved them in under an hour.
They were always friendly, answered my questions, and gave solid advice on maintenance issues. I honestly cannot give enough praise to Nero. For the $125 diagnosis fee of their visit, you'll get your solution and work done for a great price and have the peace of mind knowing it was done right the first time. If you're in the New Haven area and need HVAC work done, Nero should be your first call.

Excellent and prompt service on replacement of valve on our boiler. The service tech Dave was professional, knowledgeable, neat, and thorough. He was able to describe the issue in language that we could understand. Nero installed our new heating system 10 years ago. Since that time their maintenance and cleaning has been all we've needed to keep our system running well and efficiently. This minor service we needed today was handled in the same manner. Thank you Nero AC, Heating, & Refrigeration for always being there for us!
