Initially based in Birmingham, England, Cool Car started as a one man mechanic who learnt all about vehicle air conditioning whilst in the British Army working on tanks. On leaving the army he set up Cool Car fixing the air conditioning of, at the time, only high end cars. As the business grew he took on a partner and together they expanded the business to what it is today, with a growing network of franchises across the UK, all highly skilled and qualified in car air conditioning services.We know that to make a car air conditioning service business a success we have to rely on our reputation.
Dave from CoolCar (Sutton Coldfield) came out today to replace the condenser on my Renault Kangoo. Really nice guy, explained everything clearly from his previous diagnostic visit to the fitting today. Prompt and efficient, work was completed to a good standard and you can have a laugh too! An air con recharge, or regas, is different from a full car air conditioning service in terms of what is done when working on the car's A/C system. Your car can lose refrigerant every year. It's estimated that you can lose around a third of your coolant after three years. That is why you notice the car doesn't get as cold as it should in the summer when you turn on the air-con.

These are the sort of people that I like to deal with. Straight talking, efficient and extremely helpful. Appointment made very quickly and they arrived bang on the window I was given, even though they encountered some heavy traffic! They explained the process very thoroughly and got on with it. 25 minutes later it was all done and my aircon has been working perfectly since.
The price was a bit more than quoted, but that was because my car needed a huge amount of gas, so no complaints from me there! I would recommend them to my friends and would go straight back to them if I need their services in the future. Full marks!

Rob arrived early, was incredibly pleasant to speak with and clearly very knowledgeable on the Air Condition system. He set about leak checking and filling the system of my car, and although I was somewhat nervous that there could be a bigger issue with the system, he had completed the job in a short space of time. The car AC now blows ice cold! I will definitely be using Rob in the future and be recommending him to anyone needing work carried out on their Air Conditioning systems!

Customer service is everything and in a world where a simple Google search can take you to the next available appointment, then I am happy to say that my appointment with CoolCar was great.
