Twelve years ago, they installed my HVAC system and maintained it with a service contract for 12 years, now only to rudely dump a service contract for me and refer me to another business. They will not be installing a new system for me when I need it or hot water heater either. Be wary of service as time goes on--they'll leave you in the heat or cold!

Joe was prompt and professional. He was able to answer all our questions and explained the process and next steps very clearly. We plan to install a new furnace and convert from oil to gas and add a air purifier system. We are very happy we have selected A Plus HVAC Inc for this home project!

From start to finish we had an excellent experience with A Plus HVAC. From speaking to Lisa on the phones(she is SO helpful, i called her many times with questions, and she was always so patient with me!) to Christian the service tech, to JD who did the install. Every single one of them were phenomenal! Im so glad we went with them! Highly recommend!

They were able to send Marc out within a few hours of my call for what I thought was a needed repair. It turned out the breaker had flipped (forehead smack) but since I already had to pay the repair call fee, Marc said he could do the yearly maintenance as he was already there. Timely, considerate, and professional - highly recommended!

Christian was friendly, very knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately, he couldn't help fix my issue because it was not in the scope of what this company does (note: this was a referral through Home Depot, who messed it up, so the misstep doesn't reflect on this company). Christian made some great suggestions, though, so I'm off to pursue them.

I was charged for the time, despite no resolution, BUT I was aware that I would be initially, so, the business was transparent about that from the get go. I would use this company for any HVAC needs Iay encounter in the future because of great technicians like Christian.

Marc shower up on time and was very professional and knowledgeable. I am currently selling my house and there was an issue with the upstairs being a lot hotter than downstairs. Marc thoroughly went through the system in a timely and proficient manner, pointed out what was needed, his recommendations and the reasons why. From the initial phone call all the way through to the technician Marc's thorough explanation of what was done for maintenance; all parties were polite, professional and knowledgeable. We never used A Plus but they responded and could service us the same day. We have an oil fired furnace that was blowing only cold air. Upon introducing himself and ultimate inspection of the furnace, technician Christian provided immediate options to consider along with pricing. He was successful with repair with the least expensive option and the heat returned. At this time we give a grade of A+ to A Plus and highly recommend Christian Torres. We are very happy customers and will call them again if necessary.

I never write any bad reviews for any company but this company is total scam and don't replace or fix anything that cost more than $500. My pipes leaked, they told me its due to corrosion and its not covered. My heat pump broke they told me its not covered because it broke down due to not been maintained. My washer stopped working they said we can give you $200 and we can't fix it.

At my request Joe came to assess our need for either a new boiler or installing a heat pump/mini-split system for the newer wing of our home. He was very knowledgeable, was patient with the slew of questions I peppered him with and gave my wife and myself a generous amount of his time this morning. A-Plus did a home inspection for the owner when I purchased the home and they rated the system in good working condition. Four months later after 3 months of extremely high Bill's AFTER buying the home, the same A-Plus company tells me my system is failing and needs a complete replacement. The representatives told me three times they made a mistake and the company has done nothing to rectify the situation. DO NOT use this service.

Called their emergency service when we got back from vacation to find our house at 38 degrees. Gave me an operator's name and number and said he would call me when on his way. He never called.

I have been a customer for years, and have had positive experiences with them, until I needed after hours service last night. I called at 8:30 pm, was told the on-call tech would call when on the way, and then never heard from the tech or dispatch again. I called back at 5 am, only to be told no one knows why the tech didn't respond, and they have no protocols in place to follow up with customers who are waiting overnight. It's a total failure not to have a system that requires periodic follow up with a customer who is told to wait for an indefinite period of time by either the tech or dispatch. Service for regular appointments is great; service for after hours, non-existent.

I discovered that water was puddling under my indoor a/c unit. I setup an appt online without any problems. The next morning, my service technician Reggie came early for my 10 am appointment and was great at identifying the problem and fixing it. I was worried that maybe something major had caused the leak but after cleaning the lines, the leak stopped. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would definitely recommend A-PLUS!

My air conditioning was blowing air, just not cold air and the temp would not fall below 76 degrees no matter how low I set the temp. A-Plus Service sent Melvin out, he did a thorough investigation and identified the problem with accuracy, which was a bad coil. So they ordered a new one, he came back out the following week, replaced it and its now working great again! I would definitely recommend them to anyone who has an AC/Heat problem.

Don't waste your time or Money! They have no clue what they are doing and they definetly RIP OFF Seniors and I think they enjoy doing it! I have had my last BOUT with A plus heating & air conditioning! DONE! They never arrive on time and they call saying they are coming early then call back and say he's on the way! Yesterday was my last straw!

He was suppose to give Check up on the heating & air condiiting on our heat pump! This guy walked in I knew I was in trouble he asked if I had oil heat? Really! Long story short he calls me 5 mins after he left and said he would be back in Spring to do air conditioning Tune Up! I said you mean in Fall he said no he only checked the Heat! I lost it!

I had to tell this crazy man that Monday was the first day of Spring and Spring has Spung! Plus never heard of only checking Heat part of a Tune up! Check the whole thing! I was getting it done cause knew soon I would be using the Air! Never Again! They took our family for so much in the Past 10 years! They had too many Chances! So if you smart stay Far away from that company! Don't be sucked in and believe there LIES!

A-Plus was assigned to our home warranty claim. I hate our home warranty company so much, but we really lucked out this time. They were helpful in scheduling a time that fit into my work day and called when they were about 30 minutes out. The two techs who came out were very friendly, professional, and thorough. They had to return for a second visit after we got a handyman to provide access to the subflooring to get at our leak. Again, very easy to schedule and very responsive.

I even got phone calls from the tech himself the day before asking for more detail on what we had discovered after the handyman cut through the subflooring. I appreciated that, unlike a lot of service people, they were really diligent about actually identifying the problem. I'd happily use these two techs again with any plumbing problem. I appreciated that they actually wanted to do their job properly instead of just grab the fee from the home warranty company.

If I could give A-Plus Air Conditioning and Heating zero stars, I probably would. My fan stopped working on my condensing unit so I called A-Plus. They sent out a technician. He worked for about a half hour and got it back up and running. Then I was charged $315 which was $95 for the labor and $220 for a capacitor. $220 didn't seem even remotely reasonable so I looked it up online.

It is actually a $25 part. I immediately called the A-Plus office, laid out the situation, and asked the manager one simple question. Is it your standard procedure to mark up your parts 1000%? His answer was less than satisfying. He basically said that you can get a lot of stuff online cheaper. I told him that I expect to pay a premium but that I thought a 1000% profit was ridiculous.

He said that was what they charge and then tried to tell me that the service is included in that price. I had a couple of issues with this. First of all, if that's the case a $25 part plus a half hour of labor still doesn't add up up to $220. In addition, I was also charged $95 dollars for labor. So apparently not only was I over charged for the part, but I was paying the labor fees twice.

I think most folks are looking for someone honest and reputable when dealing with this kind of problem. Most folks are willing to pay a premium for the service when your AC goes out at the height of summer, but don't want to worry about getting ripped off. If that's the case, then I'd strongly recommend you stay away from A Plus.
