Hi, my name is Alecia. After years of being a backpacker, I wasn't ready to move into a giant house. Instead, I wanted to stick with my travelling roots. I loved the idea of just having the basics so I built a small home. I eventually traded that tiny home in for a husband, two kids and a piece of suburban real estate, but I utilise many of the design tricks I learned while living in my small house. I love the small house movement, and I wanted to create a blog about it to introduce others to the concept.

I work with a lot of venders and of course not one location will ever be able to handle all our needs, but boy if there is one person that gives it her all, it's Candace! The learning curve in this industry is a pretty steep and I am very impressed that if she does not know an answer, she'll research it and find it. Keep it up young lady, no ceiling on you!
