Burnsville Heating & A/C

Loved getting tailgated by a company vehicle this morning on 35E. Then the employee whipped around me and flicked his cigarette at my car. I had my children with me. I would never use your company if that is how your employees act.

Furnace short cycling, called for emergency service from Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning. Calling Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning was a complete waste of an entire day when I needed emergency service. My initial call to Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning was answered right away, they took my information, and advised I would be contacted by their on-call person shortly.

I was not called at all on Saturday, nor at all on Sunday. And to add insult to injury, on Monday morning I finally get a call from Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning asking me to schedule an appointment with them to look at my furnace! Seriously? How tone-deaf can they be to the plight of their customers that they have the nerve to do that? I didn't tell Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning they have 24-hour emergency service, they advertise it, and then don't provide it.

Communication is key. All they had to do was tell me they didn't have anyone available and I would not be so angry and disappointed with Burnsville Heating & Air Conditioning! -Rick

For several weeks about six weeks ago, my husband and I were limping along with a heater that wasn't working properly, trying our own trouble shooting ideas. We finally had to bite the bullet and call Burnsville Heating & Air on a VERY cold Friday night. We knew a trip charge late on a Friday or over the weekend would be expensive, but it wouldn't have been possible to stay in the house without fixing the heater.

We were put in touch with the on-call technician Bob. After hearing what was going on, he walked my husband through what to do to fix it and my husband was able to get the heater running again! Our house heated back up that evening and we've had no issues ever since! My husband does have a background in equipment maintenance so this troubleshooting may not have been possible for some customers, but we REALLY appreciate that Bob was willing to help without coming to our house and charging us for the repair. It saved us money AND we were were able to get the house and ourselves warm and toasty. Thank you to Bob and BH&A!

Cody was called to our house to diagnose a "ticking" sound in our lower level ceiling, caused by the expansion of the heating ductwork touching a ceiling fixture. He was quick to troubleshoot the issue and neat and thorough in fixing the problem.

We are so happy we chose Burnsville Heating to help! We have worked with this company for previous furnace replacement and were so happy with the professionalism of each person we dealt with, the kindness and quick response to our loss of heat in the cold weather, and the value of the replacement furnace. It's so nice to know there are still services that care about customers!

The service man parked in my driveway so I had to park in the street. He left all the lights on when he was done and didn't turn on my fireplace to show me it worked, I had to go downstairs and do it manually myself.

One of their drivers almost drove a vehicle off the road with their aggressive driving.

My husband and I would like to send a huge thank you to Burnsville Heating & Air (BH&A), especially Bob the sales manager, along with Dan and Ben- both technicians. Our AC unit died during that abnormally hot period a few weeks ago, four days before family was flying in to stay at our place for a wedding. Our home became unbearable, reaching 90 degrees upstairs, getting muggier every day in the basement, and the home improvement stores were out of their little AC units and fans.

There was going to be no way we could host our family. BH&A, and the three individuals mentioned, went above and beyond in getting a new AC unit ordered and then installed early in the morning on the day our guests were arriving. The house had several hour to cool before our family arrived, and everyone was comfortable and had a great time. We have used BH&A in the past, will definitely contact them for future needs, and highly recommend them!

Furnace went out on a Friday night. Called Saturday morning and Daniel was at my door within 90 minutes. He didn't have the part, but offered space heaters for us for the night. Came back on Monday morning and found out what the issue was that went beyond just replacing the part. He was very nice and got the job done without any hassle. Wore a mask the entire time. Thanks to him we have heat again!

I don't think this company really cares if they get your business or not. Needed air exchanger repaired. Rep came out and looked at it. I already new it needed a new motor and that's what he told me. Scheduled another appointment which they canceled and moved out a week. Rep came out and tried to replace the motor but couldn't get it done. Left a mess on the floor and a pile of part in the air exchanger. Said we need a new unit and would have sales call me and they never did. Had to call them back to get ahold of sales and was transferred to no one. I think I'm done

Daniel came out to the house to check out and tune-up our air conditioner. Very professional and informative! He provided excellent service! There were no added charges, our system checked out. It seems like these days there is always something extra needed that costs money. This is an honest company, and Daniel is a good human. Thank you!

Updating this review in Oct. - they've been to our house at least 7 times now. The air keeps going out. They told us a manager would call and no one has. Excited for next summer to roll around and us to have to keep calling every 2 or 3 weeks with a broken unit. The unit should have been replaced but it's winter now, so we will see how things go next year.

Maybe they'll call? -- I wanted to like this company. We've had them out 3 times now to "fix" our air conditioning unit. It's brand new-just installed in April or May. Last time the tech. was here all of 10 minutes & clearly they are not fixing the issue. I am pregnant with a 1 year old at home- having an air conditioner that works on these miserably hot days would sure be nice.

I am new to the area and used Burnsville Heating for the first time last week, just for a furnace check-up. Cody was so possession, friendly, and willing to explain everything he was doing. He even gave me an idea of how to fix a problem I am having with getting the filter in and out. I will be sure to use them again.! Last week Bob, the owner, had someone come over, and they removed my furnace leg and replaced the bracing with some padding, I can now get the filter in and out with no problem. Burnsville heating and air will be my go-to place from now on.

Furnace and Air Conditioning Inspection Ralph was the technician who did the inspection and he was great! As an engineer I am picky about how my mechanical equipment functions and I had loads of questions about my system. I had questions about the compressor balance, noise in the system, and general operation of the system. He answered all my questions and even gave me additional information on how to make the system efficiently operate. I had purchased a new Daikin Furnace and Air Conditioning system last year that has been working great for us.

9 years ago Burnsville Heating installed my furnace and a/c and it's been running great ever since. Every spring and fall I have them do an inspection and tune up. A few weeks ago during their fall furnace inspection, they noticed that my furnace was giving off a higher rate of carbon monoxide than normal, so they immediately shut it down for safety reason and found the root of the problem.

They said they would need to replace a few major parts that have gone bad, but that it's all covered under the 10 year warranty, so within a just a few days they were back out, got all the new parts installed and the furnace is working properly and safely again. I can't thank Ralph and team enough for finding a potentially deadly problem before furnace season and fixing it so quickly and professionally. They are pro's and really care about the work they do, I can't recommend these guys enough.
