I have used Harvey heating for a long time, they are a small company and can provide a great value compared to some of the bigger companies. Their service tech is amazing and has helped out on short notice many times. If you want a good job done and need a new furnace or AC i would certainly recommend them.

Did not return calls. Showed up randomly a few days later without any notice. Lacked the most basic of troubleshooting skills (didn't even turn on the thermostat to see what the issue was). Claimed the unit was frozen (but didn't even know where the unit was when he came back, and once again, didn't even turn on the thermostat to check the problem).
After explaining the situation to our building owner he finally got Steve back out a couple weeks later to look at it again. It was very obvious he had not completed any productive work the last time he was here because he claimed he never knew the problematic unit existed. I had to show him where the unit was in the ceiling. I had already diagnosed ahead of time and found no power to the unit, but decided to leave it to him to see what he could find.
He claimed the heat strips were causing issues (we are talking AC here folks, the fan for the indoor unit is where the problem was, not in the heating elements) and that the unit would need to be replaced. Since I had already diagnosed the issue on my own we nudged the building owner in the direction of the old company (Environmental Control Systems).
They came out very quickly, diagnosed the problem in a matter of minutes (I did not let them know I had already diagnosed, we were running a trial here to see who was more capable). They replaced the breaker to the indoor unit, and now we finally have AC in the hottest part of our office. I suggest looking in another direction if you are considering this company. We did not have a good experience, and I cannot recommend them to anybody.

Same day service when my AC went out in 100 degree weather. They have now returned to replace a 20+ year old furnace and water heater (at my request - Steve did not push replacing them when he looked at the AC). Service was efficient, clean (that put down tarps and swept up after themselves), and performed on the day and appointment time that we had agreed to.
