DD Mechanical Services

In 2017 I purchased an AC and heating system from DD Mech. I had about 3 issues with the AC unit not functioning properly during the summer. They came and addressed the issues but 3 months ago, I was told that the 10 year warranty provider was bankrupt. Therefore if I need parts and service, I'll be charged because I have no coverage. I was also told that they are seeking a new warranty provider and that they will inform me when they found one. There are no legimite excuses for this. I am still waiting for a new warranty provider. BEWARE of this company!

The heater quit working and started blowing just cool air I had 3 quotes to see what was going on get this. 1st quote (not disclosing company) said the company who makes our furnace and ac unit went out of business in 09 and parts for it will be nearly impossible to come by and that we should replace the entire unit and furnace as well as there is so much rust build up and if a hole pops through the rust it will leak carbon monoxide. Quoting $8000 for whole replacement and labor. 2nd quote (not disclosing company) said older stuff works better your ac unit is in great shape.

For your furnace we would just have to search really hard for some parts to fix it quoting $1500 3rd quote DD mechanical services said your furnace wasn't getting the correct voltage on the ignition module, one of the switches is open, they replaced the switch and our Heater is now working for less than $300 Not sure how all 3 companies had something different to say but what matters is I will continue to use DD mechanical services.

They did not try to get a whole bunch of money out of us, they came and fixed it with no problems. Moral of the story always get multiple quotes, dont go with your first choice.

For over ten years, when it comes to our HVAC and heating system we trust DD Mech.to maintain it and rely on them to tell when it needs repair or replacement Services: Duct and vent installation, Thermostat installation, AC installation, Heating system installation, Duct and vent repair, HVAC maintenance

I have always worked with David and he has always conducted himself in a very professional manner and polite. We enjoy working with DD Mechanical Services.

Sold us an expensive ac/heating system 10 years ago that had caused us so many problems every year! Many technicians have told us that it was not installed correctly. Do not recommend!

Desperate in Houston 's heat as our ac stopped cooling. I called DD Mechanical Services. Mr. Kunetka immediately answered my call. He listened and said that he would be right over to check out my air conditioning unit. It was at the end of the business day and was delighted that he responded so quickly. Surely, he arrived and diagnosed the problem.

He then had to leave to retrieve a part. He returned, fixed the problem and we were happy to not have to go to a hotel for the night. With Covid. We don't want to go anywhere. I was impressed previously with DD Mechanical on another home problem. So, I trusted his work. I will only use their services and will recommend him highly to my friends.

I will always call DD Mechanical Services for our home needs. We had two nice, professional and honest men handle our request. We especially appreciate their honesty which is always a relief and refreshing. Thank you!

DD Mechanical Services - I scheduled an appt with these people for 6/6/2020 at 8AM. They did not show up, when I called the office the man I spoke to said that the technician (Jack) would be with me shortly because "he was at another job". At this point we've been waiting for 1hr, Jack calls and says he's on his way and should be at the property in 20 minutes because his roof fell in and there was water everywhere. 40 minutes later, I called Jack back and he says he is till on I10/99 that is another 25 minute drive to where I was, its is 9:45AM at this point, I apologize I cant wait any longer, and want to cancel.

He doesnt apologize or anything, but hangs up the phone on me. Wow, I'm glad I didnt have to deal with this company. Their lack of customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

Very pleased with the level of expertise I received from David and Jack. Installed 2 new AC units and replaced duct work. So far so good.

Our air-conditioner was in need of some kind a tuneup and Freon. So we called up do you do mechanical to ask them what they could do. We had to leave a message because it was an answering service. When he called back he told my husband it was going to be $300 for the Freon per pound. Outrageous! These contractors think that they can overcharge for services rendered over the summer because the services are a real need here in Texas when the temperature gets over 95°.

This guy is a "gouger" And not fair! I would use any service but him. Somebody just dishonest you don't know if they'd really be fixing your air-conditioner, or giving you the shaft! Shyster!

I had a guy from another company come out to my house to make an estimate which turned out to be a lot more expensive than I thought it would be and I felt suspicious. I talked to DD Mechanical and their guy had a solution that cost about 10% of the other guys and it worked. I really appreciate their honesty and good service.

I really appreciate the work done on my system. DD will get many referrals from me. They delivered as promised at a very fair and reasonable price. The fact that I got a follow up call really made me feel like I wasn't just another service call.

I recently had a central air conditioning unit installed by DD Mechanical. They were on time. They were polite and professional. Not only will I be calling them again but I will refer everyone I know to them.
