This was my first experience with this company. I dealt with Phil. I can't tell you how happy I am with his honesty and service. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Phil was very courteous when I called for service on my house furnace. He send a technitian within 2 hours to do the repairs, even thought it was a Saturday. Stephen was also very efficient to find out the cause of the problem which he promptly fixed. Thank you. Service: Heating system repair

I had Phil himself a few years ago. I was so impressed that I called recently when my ac was not working well. They sent an inexperienced kid. He left tools in the mechanical room, crushed the washer onmy hose and had to constantly call for instructions. I must say I called and the girl on the phone apologized and offered to send someone. I was leery. I wrote a letter to Phil and he did respond. He was going to make it right, when he wasn't busy. Not good enough for me!

This company is on the money! I called and within 24 hours I was able to have a friendly employee at my home. I called 2 other companies and the prices at Phil's were unbeatable. Friendly staff & returned all my calls. Replaced my AC & got the job done right the first time. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of the services they provide. Beware - I do not trust this business and will not be using them again. I strongly suggest you find another business to trust with your HVAC needs. I used Phil's services to fix a problem we had with the heater (it wouldn't switch off) and also signed up for the annual servicing, where they maintain the heater and the a/c once a year. Someone came to fix the heater and replaced it with a new circuit board.

It took about 10 mins to change it out. This did fix the problem however, they charged me $500 (this was apparently after discount). When they left I thought it was strange it cost so much, so I googled the part and found out it was max $100, I called the office numerous times to be told someone would get back to me but no one ever did. At this point I had already signed up for the annual servicing contract although I wish I hadn't.

They came to service the A/c a few months later. The person went up to check the pressure and said the pressure was good on the coolant. My husband was there and asked him to check again because the a/c wasn't blowing cool, so he checked again and said there was actually no pressure. He said there may be a leak so he couldn't replace the coolant, so we asked for a quote for the leak test and we never heard from them again.

So they effectively came to service the a/c, almost told us it was fine when it wasn't, then did nothing to actually fix or service it. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating to say the least. Total waste of time and money.

I can't stress how honest and helpful Phil and his team are. Even though his company doesn't do boiler decarbs, Phil recommended a fantastic chimney and boiler repairman that came to the rescue when National Grid decided shut off my mom's boiler due to high levels of CO. Definitely will have Phil and his team first in mind when it comes to any future HVAC, plumbing or heating projects. It is close to impossible to find good honest service companies on the Island but Phil's AC & Heating shines way above the rest and would recommend them highly.

I would never use this company again. They were a waste of my money because they did not fix the problem after they promise me they would. Of course I paid them, now they are ignoring me. I have find another company to do what they did not do! More money , but I will make sure I make a report to the Better Business Burea since they are promising and getting paid and not doing what they were supposed to.

I've lived in my home for 10 months, and have had 4 "professionals" touch my hvac system. Two couldn't follow-up and one was ridiculously overpriced and took advantage of my desperate situation. Nick from Phil's AC&H came today; he arrived on time, was personable and professional. I have a weird setup in my home (small cluttered HVAC room) and wanted a humidifier installed on the furnace.

It seemed impossible because of the space, but I could hear Nick thinking about creative ways to get it done. Just when I thought there was no hope, Nick spoke to Phil himself, and they worked out a solution. The price was very fair, it ended up being a lot of work. Will recommend them to others in my building with the same situation.
