My air conditioner just stopped working in 100+ weather. Alex was at my house within an hour of my calling! He diligently worked on the system, but it was very old and unfortunately needed replacing. Alex and Collin were at my house just before 8am the next morning with my new unit and had it cooling before noon!

Collin, Andy and crew did a great job replacing a broken coil in my house. Taylor had been like a nail on Lennox's bed to get my warranty approved. The delay on the coil from Lennox is something they cannot avoid or do something about. And at the end when the coil arrived, Andy showed up bright and early at my house and start working. Five hours later my house is cool and clean like they were never here (Andy always brings a big vacuum in his truck to clean up after the job is done). Was using their service before and will continue to do so in the future. Very professional and highly recommended.

Since my last review 2 weeks ago, my 24 year old HVAC system was ready for retirement. Of course I called Collin Air Conditioning & Heating. The proposal was completed and accepted within one day. The installation was stellar, as they brought many members of the team and completed it in one day. Everything from proposal to complete installation went without a hitch. Collin Air Conditioning & Heating has been my HVAC company for many years.
Never once has there ever been an area of concern. Their team members are always on time, professional, very knowledgeable about the work to be performed. I'm glad I took my own advice and called Collin Air--I wouldn't call anybody else!

We have used Collin Air since the 1980s. I have never had an issue with their work or expertise. The staff are all friendly and there seems to be no turnover. maybe a few have retired. Services: Heating system repair, Install thermostat, A/C system maintenance, Installation, Repair HVAC, Cleaning, Heating system maintenance, A/C system repair

As a newer family to the Plano community, I had zero direction on "who" or "where" to turn to for help with my heating system. The gentleman that showed up on time was extremely professional and knew exactly what he was looking for. He had me up and running in no time. Above all, he was honest and extremely fair with the invoice. Plus he took the time to explain my system and best practices to keep it running at peak performance! I have a HVAC team that I can rely on and trust!

Colin is always responsive and quickly sends out repair services. Alex is very informative, he patiently answers all my questions (even though I ask a lot). Collin Air does great work at a fair price. My whole family has them for regular maintenance every Spring and Fall. And any emergencies I have they take care of me immediately. This is a great company, fair, honest and high quality work.

I will try and keep this review brief but there are a lot of great things to say about Collin Air, and especially about Brian Bullock and Jimmy Majors. My first encounter with Collin Air was while I was trying to get a new capacitor for my compressor. I was at a store trying to find the right part for my unit and Brian helped me find and obtain the proper capacitor for my unit and gave me some tips on installing it.
I went home and installed the capacitor but nothing happened. I made a call to Collin Air and was routed to the voicemail of Jimmy the on-call Technician. I did not leave a message but tried a second number on the business card Brian had given me. By the time I finished calling the second number my phone rang and it was Jimmy calling me back, and I hadn't even left a message! Well, Jimmy proceeded to spend the next 63 minutes on the phone with me helping me diagnose the problem.
With his very patient and professional help, I was able to discover that I had blown a fuse on my air handler in the attic. Jimmy continues to walk me though how to fix that as well and as a result of that my A/C is up and running correctly in my house once again. The fact that what both Brian and Jimmy helped me, essentially a total stranger and not a previous customer (though I am a loyal customer now!) is way above and beyond great customer service. However, what totally blew my mind was the fact that them helping me do this project on my own meant that they weren't getting paid to do this job, which to me is not customer service, but a genuinely selfless act of kindness, and it happened twice with two separate people from the same company!!
If Brian and Jimmy represent the way this company operates then I will be not only a loyal customer for life but also their most vocal supporter. They have my business and that of anyone I know who needs A/C repair for as long as I live anywhere in the DFW area.

Collin Air has been my HVAC company for as long as I've owned my house--22 years. They are wonderful! My AC went out several years ago in the summer and it was over 100 degrees, It needed a motor part which took 6 days to get from the manufacturer. Collin Air was literally waiting for delivery and once they got the part, they jumped in their truck, came over and installed it. They have also installed two completely new Carrier systems over the years and I've never had a problem. I highly recommend them.

These guys are great: fairly and reasonably priced, honest and reliable.
Called them to clear the drain line. They found another easily fixable issue and were able to fix it that day as well as clear the line. Never felt like they were trying to run up the bill. The whole cost was extremely reasonable. They showed up exactly on time and even called an hour before the scheduled appt to confirm the appointment and time. Would definitely recommend and will use in the future.

One of our AC units went down about 3:30 in the afternoon. We were visiting our grandson in Allen Texas while our son and daughter in law were in Stockholm. Had no idea who to call. Checked Yelp and Collin AC was the closest to his house. They were here within the hour. Our technician, Colin, was great. Explained everything he was doing. We lived in Alaska for over 50 years so I am no expert on AC units.
The diagnosis was a bad fan motor which I had suspected from the noise. He quoted about 650.00 for motor and labor. The supplier had closed for the day so we set it up for the next morning. They called us then before coming out. Colin had taken the time to research our unit and found the motor was still under warranty. It was installed when the house was built in 2006 so warranty never occurred to me. Total bill: 267.00. My son has 3 AC units and now a permanent company to service them. Having been a builder for 22 years I know companies like Collin AC are hard to find.
