When a furnace went out advanced air systems came highly recommended to us. I have to say I was not disappointed! I would recommend them very highly. I worked with Lauren and Yui their office staff and getting things scheduled. Lauren also worked with my insurance company and handled everything so professionally. They were awesome! Dennis came and gave us a bid was so friendly and easy to work with.

He worked with me on getting a furnace thar was in my price range, and told me about the different rebates that were offered. Brandon came and did the installation he explained a lot of things to me after the furnace was installed. Anyone who is thinking of having a new furnace installed I would strongly recommend that you give them a call and get a bid. You won't be sorry.

Good company. Brandon did our routine preventive maintenance on our furnace yesterday, and uncovered a communication discrepancy between our thermostat and furnace which I feel should have been detected on earlier service appointments, since we subscribe to Advanced Air Systems' twice yearly HVAC service plan. This is more a "kudos" to Brandon than a complaint about the company, which has served our HVAC needs well now for quite a few years.

But it is the reason for my 4 star rating rather than 5 stars. I recommend and will continue to use their services. And I will request Brandon as our assigned service tech in the future.

Would have been nice to get a quote of what the diagnostics and repair costs in writing. They told my husband how they can repair the problem but I still wanted a written report for what was wrong and how much it was to repair. I spent $103 after taxes for diagnostics of furnace with condensation issues. that is the least I should get for my money. The fireplace conversion bid also took forever and was twice the price as was indicated verbally.

Brandon and his assistant from Advanced air systems just did a terrific job on correcting a not perfect job on our heat and air ducting under our home. They found the problem quickly and replaced what was needed before noon at what we thought was a great price. The boys were nice enough to take some time to get us up to speed on setting the controls and how to make cleaning filters simple. Very professional and competent.

In Dec. I had them come and check my ductless unit because it was not heating properly. Repairman David came and checked both the inside and outside unit. He said he patched the outside unit and hoped it would hold until nicer weather. He said someone from the office would call and schedule the repair. No one called. I woke up July21 to find a piece of the inside unit covering on the floor. Repairman David came out again and took pictures of the inside unit and worked on the outside unit.

He told me the piece broke because the cover was stressed. I knew it was stressed and has been stressed ever since it was installed. In Dec when I had yearly maintenance done Richard work for 30 minutes or more to get the cover back on and couldn't so he called an installer to come out and do it. This unit is only 2 years old and I have had nothing but problems with it. I feel it was installed incorrectly and needs to taken down and replaced with as new unit that is installed correctly.

We had ductless heating/cooling installed by Brandon, Bob, and someone else but I can't remember his name. They were all professional, friendly, and we felt comfortable with them in my home for several hours. Advanced Air Systems prices were more affordable than another place we looked into. Our home is now cool and comfortable! We are happy with the products and services. Thank you!

I have the maintenance contract with Advanced Air and they found that the compressor on my 12 year old unit is starting to fail which means I needed a new heat pump and coil. They sent their estimator who determined the three best choices for me and gave me suggestions. I chose what works best for me which included financing 48 months at 0%! Free money!

But what really made me happy about my choice to go with Advanced Air was the work done by the 3 installers. Absolutely perfect. They pulled the old poorly insulated refrigerant lines and sloppy electrical conduit and did an outstanding, professional job of running new lines in a paintable housing that looks great. They also patched up holes left by the old work which was a big deal to me. All their work looks clean and professional. No regrets going with them.

We have used them in the past to do yearly maintenance on our furnace and a/c and had no concerns. However they came out a few weeks ago and we needed to replace some components on our furnace. The quote they gave us was high and I decided to check with a family member who owns their own AC company out of state. She advised they were marking up the parts as much as 200-300%!

We will be looking for another company to do any service from now on. I understand there will be a mark up, but when my relative said if that's the way company's do business in our area she wanted to relocate and become a millionaire in a few years!

Excellent customer service and prompt response for service call. We thought we might have to replace the furnace because of its age, but Jake assured us that he could still get parts to fix it. Do not hire Advanced Air Systems to install your ductless heating and air. It has taken almost 10 months to resolve a very straightforward problem with this company: two defective systems that made a clattering/ticking sound. Had Advanced Air, and in particular, Cathy Rutherford, acted professionally, and worked on my behalf, their customer, and my best interest, this problem could've been solved within a few weeks of getting installed in August of 2018.

It has been almost 10 months trying to fix this very irritating and annoying rattling sound emanating from their defective machines. I work 30 minutes out of Vancouver, and the earliest I can be home is by 4:00 pm. But Cathy Rutherford was unwilling to pay overtime for a staff member to come out past five. She told me it would be a burden for her workers to work past 5:00 pm.

This confused me because they installed the system on a Saturday. So instead Advanced Air taking care of their customer, I was forced to give up my holidays, which fell on weekdays, to try over and over, with no success, to fix these two units. For almost 10 months! I contacted the Department of Labor, and they STRONGLY does not recommend that you leave keys for any contractor or vendor to come into your house when you were not there.

I told Cathy Rutherford in Advance Air, including the owner, I was unwilling to have someone there when I wasn't there. And they still refused to work with my schedule. The bottom line? DO NOT HIRE Advanced Air Systems. Because their Bottom Line (making money) is more important than their customer service and to ensure that we are satisfied with their work and product. They were more than happy to take my $9000, and completely unwilling to work around my schedule just so they wouldn't have to pay their workers overtime.

My last heat pump lasted 23 years before going out two weeks ago. Advanced Air Systems was able to get me scheduled right away for a replacement system. They were on time, the technicians were very professional and had my new system installed in about 5 hours. They honored their bid and hauled off the old equipment. I definitively would recommend them for any AC/HVAC needs. Don R - Battle Ground, WA

They installed a new AC unit for me which passed the city inspection. However, I noted that upon using it, the force of the air leaving the vents was weak and the house was not cooling. I called them and Todd and Ryan (not the original installers) came out and diagnosed the problem with a certain part of the unit. This was on a Monday and they stated that the part would arrive We'd. Tuesday morning, I received a call stating the part arrived and within an hour, the gentlemen were back and spent the next 6+ hours taking care of the issue.

They even improved some of the ducting system. All of this was under warranty so it did not cost me anything. The house is now cooling quite efficiently after their work. Although my experience with the company is only a few months old, I couldn't be happier.

Advanced air installed a new 3 zone ductless system in my home. The person who came for the estimate was knowledgeable about the equipment and financing options. The process was simple and smooth from estimate to install. The installers were courteous and cleaned up any mess they made. They also removed my massive 1925 oil furnace and kept the cast iron front intact so I could keep it. It was a great overall experience, plus their bid was the most competitive.

Admittedly, my only experience was with the free estimate Advanced Air gave me to replace my furnace. But it gave me a series of red flags. - Of the 4 estimates I got, theirs was notably higher. - When I asked about warranty information, he told me it was 10 years. When I asked if that included labor, he avoided the question until I forced him to admit I'd still have to pay them for labor if parts went bad after 2 years.

Other companies were up front about this. - When I told him I wasn't very interested in the quoted price, he stated that "The furnace model alone costs $6,000!". Spending 10 seconds on google shows the exact model to be for under $2,000. So they were giving me a blatant lie. - The quote given to me included fancy wi-fi touchscreen thermostats and other unnecessary expenses.

Only when I explicitly asked about it did they admit cheaper options were available. Admittedly, one estimate salesman does not necessarily represent an entire company. But it just felt sleazy.

I don't mind paying the call out fee for the first guy who came out since they did not charge the fee for the second guy to come out and actually fix the problem however they gave me no credit for the fees I paid for the work the first guy did that did not fix the problem, it's not a lot of money, $50 but that's $50 more then I would have spent if the first guy had not made assumptions and actually gone through the steps to insure he found the problem. This in not how to build that customer base they talk about, I'll try someone else next time.

Our heat was not working. We called Advanced air Systems. They came and did the diagnostics and and charged us.and said we needed to replace the power switch and control board.which they needed to order parts and returned 2 days later. They charged us 740 dollars and change and replaced the parts.we still had no heat. Came back the third time and said we need to replace the furnace because there is a crack some where and we won't have heat until the furnace is replaced.

Now it has been a week without heat and we are frustrated. We decided to call some one else. Smart heating and cooling in Vancouver. They came at the time I requested and fixed the problem in 1 hour, Simple problem with gas pressure.cost us 155 dollars at allVs replacing a furnace which would have been 6000 thousand dollars. I am sure they are trying to cheat people and Get as much money out of us. The workman who came to thne house were very nice and professional but can, t say the same for the office staff. They were not helpful at all.

We recently got a new furnace from these guys and it did not pass inspection when the city inspector came out to look. The installer had put green tape on a white wire that was supposed to be green, so an electrician had to specially come out and replace it with a green wire. The installer tried to use a shortcut that was not up to code. I was not impressed, neither was I impressed when the furnace went out two weeks after installation.

To their credit, they sent a guy within an our of our call on a Saturday. He said a pan of water had frozen in our garage where the furnace was located and so jerry-rigged a clear plastic tubing halfway down the garage wall to drain into the washing machine drain. The installer did not seem to be able to anticipate this problem with additional condensation created by the new furnace and that it was going to freeze and shut the furnace off. We are slowly getting these issues resolved, but it is taking time and I would not recommend this company.

I was very happy with the furnace tune up they just did. I had been keeping the thermostat down to save money but the technician adjusted my equipment to let me keep my house at a more comfortable level while at the same time using my system more efficiently to save me money.

Beware. Advanced came out to my home to analyze an issue that I had with my furnace which they quoted at $85 for the review. They then quoted the work to make the repairs and also quoted new furnace options. Once we decided the repair was the right option for us, Advanced then sent us an invoice for $85 + an attic charge that was never discussed. After conversations and emails they waived the attic charge but then revised their quote by a significant amount because the said that they missed some stuff and the repairs were actually more difficult that quoted.

After the new quote, I continued to shop around and found 2 local competitors that quoted it at half of Advanced new quote. The company we ended up using was great and helped us in lowering the cost because of parts that were actually under warranty that Advanced never mentions to us. I would highly recommend taking your business elsewhere!
