I usually like to post a review a while after work performed to better gauge the overall experience. Executive Cooling and Heating did not disappoint. We had a new A/C system installed at the end of 2021. Executive A/C performed a great install at a fair price. We were impressed with the explanation of the proposed system at the time of the estimate and we were impressed with the Google reviews.
We had the system installed in a very timely and professional manner. We were surprised by a follow up phone call 6 months later to schedule a free follow up inspection and maintenance. We highly recommend Executive Cooling and Heating.

We first started using Executive a few years back when another company said we needed a new system. Executive found a small problem (ants in the capacitor) and made the needed repair. We used them occasionally afterward, and we were assured they would let us know when it was time for a new unit. A few years down the road, we received a fair price, all was replaced, and we have them twice yearly for maintenance.
The owner, Tom, came over several times when repairs were done on the old unit. He came over to quote the new unit, too. He's hands on, and fair. That's why they stay busy. We had a new tech today. Brian performed routine maintenance. He was polite, friendly, professional. A great new asset!

A simple phone call to Executive Heating and Cooling was all it took for them to spring into action and get my air conditioning back and running, which is crucial with the Florida heat and humidity. They did it all in the same day I called - amazing! Thank you. Services: A/C system repair, A/C preventive maintenance

The executive team consistently demonstrates excellent customer service and professionalism. The work is always quickly diagnosed and completed to meet or exceed our expectations. Charlie came out this time and quickly resolved our problem, also providing education as to how we can better maintain our HVAC. Joe and the team at Executive Cooling & Heating are the only service we will ever use.

First I payed 120 $ that they told me what I told Executive when I called them. Richard came in without a spare part. He told us they relay is out of order but - unfortunately he has not the right relay in the truck. By the way: my air handler has just one! relay. The were sending an estimate for the part and labor 374 $. I got the part for 32.86$ and it took less than 15 minutes to exchange it.

4/9 revision: I was pleased once Charlie and Tom got out here. However we did end up having a miscommunication on one price point which to be transparent could have been a mix up on either parties part but still ended up with an additional 100 dollars being charged to my card that was unexpected. The quotes for a new system (not including duct work) was about 2-4k more than the rest of the quotes I received for a comparable system from other companies (4 seasons, Unique, Pinos).
I do think they do probably excellent work, and don't mind paying top dollar for top quality. However just too many bumps in the process for me to feel comfortable paying that price based on my experience alone. Again probably just a case of Murphys law, but enough that I'm passing on using them for our home. 3/30 revision: changing review from 1 to 5 stars.
I believe a good measure of an organization or person is how they handle a mistake. I received a call directly from the manager apologizing for the dropped ball, and before i knew it they had one of their top techs and even the owner out to my place, problem diagnosed and fixed in no time flat, and even got a nice discount and a couple perks. Tom and Charlie were extremely professional and polite.
They helped me identify a few things as well as gave me a couple referrals. Had them quote us a new system so will update accordingly afterwards regarding competitiveness in price; but as far as quality of work now that I saw - 5 stars. Do not call them for an emergency AC appointment. I tried and 16 hours later I get another delay. If it's an emergency call elsewhere.

How many $120 service calls do I have to pay before you fix an obvious issue with your product? I never had an issue with the first unit you installed and this one has been never ending issues. Every service tech you've sent seems to have zero knowledge. What does my service contract cover.obviously nothing. Called to complain and zero response. Absolutely will never recommend again

Executive Cooling and Heating was referred to me by a few different people so I decided to give them a call to rework and clean out duct work. From the initial call, to the estimate appointment, then the actual work completed was top notch. Everyone I encountered was very prompt and professional. They estimated how long the project would take and they were right on target with their arrival and completion times. I highly recommend Executive Cooling and Heating.

Executive Cooling and Heating was very responsive and got the cooling working the same day that I called. They also noticed the heater wasn't working and promptly came back to troubleshoot. They discovered a connector had corroded and fixed it on the spot. Communication either company is superb! Services: AC maintenance, Heating system repair

Today I had Executive install a new Trane A/c system in my condo. They installed a new heat handler, condenser compressor. They ran new supply lines up the outside of the building over the attics of 2 other units and down to my heat handler. The reason for this was my original lines were under the cement slab and damaged. No other a/c contractor noticed these lines. All this work was done in a day. I want to thank Tom Hass and his crew for a job well done.

They were very organized and detailed from the first call. We had a flooding situation with our AC. I was in a bit of panic when I called, the office patched me thru to a service man. He was able to insure that they would be out the following day. The office had someone available between 5-7 pm and that was during normal business hours and an extra service fee would not be charged. They called ahead of time, were extremely professional and polite, corrected the problem and were very reassuring. They are now our go to people. Thank You Executive Air.

I can't say enough good things about the Executive crew who installed my new Trane AC system. They showed up 15 minutes earlier than scheduled and had the new system up and running before the end of the day. They were very professional, well organized and worked well as a team. I highly recommend Executive for your AC installation.

I will mention a positive first because I don't want to be only negative. The technician was punctual. That is the only positive I can think of. They were actually there sooner than I expected. Now on to what I was disappointed with. First was the technician's lack of people skills. Not even a smile, only just the impression that he was being inconvenienced.
Then I was charged the $95 diagnostic fee, only to find out that he didn't actually have time to get anything done with it tonight. His first recommendation was of course to replace the unit because it is older, and he wasn't sure that by doing the repair, it may break even further. I was then told to call the office to schedule the coil cleaning because it is a procedure that takes a couple hours.
I called and found out their next available appointment to do so was 2 weeks out. If I had known that they wouldn't have time to even try to get the house cooler, I would have called another company.

Joe, I wish there was some way to respond to your posting. You are right, the system was installed in 2017 and not 2019. Your technician took 1 3/4 hours to install the coil as I stated. He then did the six month inspection, for which I already paid, taking the rest of the time. You should have checked your own records before calling me wrong on the time.
I watched the technician install the coil and know it took 1 3/4 hours. Of course, that doesn't include travel time which he would have had anyway to do the pre-paid six month inspection. The technician who gave me the estimate told me that it would take at least four hours to install which would have still resulted in over $200/hour. Instead, I ended up paying over $400/hour.
How do you sleep at night? I gave your firm deserved compliments on all previous interactions. You just nailed me on this one. I did check with another Trane dealer and learned their flat rate for the same work was $375.00. The purpose of my review was to warn other potential customers to do exactly what you suggested - deal with another Trane dealer. Your $810.90 charge for 1 3/4 hours of labor is pure rip off, in my opinion. You said my review was dishonest. Could you explain how?

I purchased an AC unit in 2017 from executive, the unit leaked and my ceiling was damaged. I pay for maintenance, and the guy who was to clean the drain line did not do it. they are not taking responsibility. The guy who cleaned it after the damage said the drain line was really clogged, and the pan was full, and overflowing. how can that happen when it should be cleaned every 6 months?
I got the paper report of the prior cleaning from the office, and it did not say he cleaned the drain line, which is what I pay for. AC people always wright a thorough report on what they do at a house. I waited 12 days for them to contact me, with 4 phone calls in between, before I finally went in the office at 7;30 am to catch one of the owners.
I am shocked that a company as large as they are, and have been in business as long as the have, can treat a customer like that. I have used them for quite some time on my rentals, and this is a first issue I have ever had with them.

A/C not working. I called executive as they were original installers. tech came cleaned out pipe, stuck thermometer in unit and said everything was fine. 90.00 charge. two weeks later not working again. they came out again, unit out of freon. evaporator coil has a leak. they said part was under warranty (system not even two years old). they came out to fix it 90.00 charge again as they claimed it was a different issue and 650.00 labor to replace evaporator coil. since then system is still leaking in garage and turned heater on for first time 2 weeks ago and not working! tripping breaker. Don't use this Company!

If you're looking for the "Punta Gorda Discount" (retail + 50%), Executive is your place. They serviced one of our AC units twice in one week, billing us several hundred dollars. After the second repair didn't work, we asked for a quote to replace both units. Their quote was literally 50% higher than the Port Charlotte company we eventually chose, and they did not offer one penny of credit for their failed repairs. We could not have been happier with the contractor who got the job, so it wasn't just a lowball, fly-by-night quote we were comparing.

Executive has been taking care of my systems for almost 5 years but each time they come out they try to sell me something or tell me my units are not working properly. Recently, when I was out of town one of the A/C units was not cooling according to the house sitter. Called Executive and they responded promptly telling me that my unit was out of freon. They charged over $900 to charge the unit.
The leak was in the air handler which they installed and was still under warranty. They were supposed to do a full inspection including cleaning filters etc. According to the house sitter who was there the whole time they never touched any of the filters. Moreover, they left my pool heater running even though we were not there. I decided to replace the unit that had leaked but you guessed it Executive did not even get to bid on the job. Beware.
