I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received from D&J. When my A/C went out I call them, they were at my house within 2 hours. I had an almost 40 year old unit on my roof that had finally died on me. Within 36 hours D&J had a crane in my front yard dropping a new unit onto my house. Total lifesaver! Service: Install AC

D & J Air Conditioning is the best. My A/C went out last June. They tried hard to repair it but eventually I had to come to the realization that I needed to replace my 20-year-old unit. It was the height of the A/C season in Tucson but they worked me into their schedule and got it installed. It was worked beautifully ever since. I highly recommend D & J Air Conditioning.
They are professional, on time and reasonably priced. They do an absolutely great job. Just want to reup this review. I can't say enough about D & J and the great job that they do. Not sure what to make of this company. Was just at Quik trip and as I was slowly backing out (keyword slowly as to avoid ppl in the parking lot) two of D&J employees walked behind my car and one of them punched my car. Clear as day in my rear view camera. When I spoke up about it they accused me of hitting them! Not very professional behaviour. Do better.

When our roof top Carrier Heat Pump, installed by D&J Air Conditioning in 2005 and maintained by them since, needed to be replaced in March 2021, we got some bids from other authorized Carrier dealers, but decided to stay with D&J because of their track record with our heat pump. The new Carrier heat pump is cooling our single story townhome very well and runs quietly.

Everything about my experience with this company was beyond my expectations. The quality of the equipment they installed is top notch. The quote was fast and accurate. The install was way faster than expected and done professionally and cleanly. It was a huge bonus that all the people I dealt with were nice and easy to talk to. I guarantee I will be using them again soon!

I called to make an appointment for AC service, and they assured me that I would receive a call on the next day, with a definite service time for that day. I was dubious, and it turned out with good reason. About 2:00 PM on the next day, when the service was to be performed, I received a call advising that the appointment could not be kept, but wished to reschedule in about a week.
This was obviously a "bait and switch" operation, promising prompt service and then trying to put me off. I do not appreciate this kind of treatment, and told them to forget it, and that I would endeavor to locate a more reputable service provider.

We have used this company for a few years and they have always been prompt with service. However, recently we had an issue with a small indoor unit that it took 3 techs to come out to repair and then we were charged over double retail cost for the replacement part. When questioned on the huge markup we were told there was nothing that could be done and that's what their "distributor" charged.
If your distributor is charging you double the retail cost of a part, you may want to find a new one. We will now be finding a new company that doesn't try to overcharge loyal customers.

D & J is a great resource for homeowners for one of the most expensive systems in the home. I have worked with them 4 times in various ways and with different properties and have been grateful for their honesty and integrity as well as their skilled service and great customer care. Love these guys! They don't try to sell you won't you don't need. They are very thorough, honest and do a great job. We had a bad experience with Cummings plumbing that wanted us to buy a whole new A/C and we're dishonest about things. D& J was very honest and realized what happened and turned out just to be the thermostat. Saved us over $4,000. I will always be thankful for that.

D&J provided excellent advice about what we needed when we replaced our air conditioner plus they are very competively priced. Rick was super knowledgeable and we have been very happy with our new Carrier product. It's quiet and efficient. Staff on their team are also very experienced and pleasant like Bob. Best A/C company by far! I have been using them for many years at several of my properties and they have never let me down. I have a home warranty on one of my houses and they sent out numerous other companies who all failed to fix the issue. Called D & J and it was fixed in less than an hour for less than I had paid in deductibles. My entire family now uses them and are all equally satisfied! Thank you Jim and team!

This business was recommended to me because my workplace is their customer. They were able to come out and diagnose the problem on the same day, and replace the refrigerant which solved the problem. They had great customer service both on the phone and in our home, and the prices were fair. We really appreciated them making us a priority right before the weekend!
