Heater on ac not working Called Sunday and got appointment Monday morning Jerry showed up and gave the best customer service you could ask for. Asked many questions to try and see if he could pin down the issue but turned out it was pretty simple fix. He explained every step of the way and did not exploit the fact that I am not very knowledgeable with ac systems Was expecting a very pricey repair bill but was very surprised to a more than reasonable amount. Job was done very professionally, timely and prices were very fair

I reached out due to my heater not working and Ray was able to come by same day and check out my system. He was super nice and was able to diagnose the problem and fix it within an hour. He was able to get my part under warranty so there was not a huge out of pocket expense to my family. Highly recommend this company to anyone, very trustworthy and honest.

Summer is always hot in Bakersfield. Last year, in August 2020 our AC unit decided to stop working. We asked a few HVAC to look at it. While they all "look" at my unit, no one took to time to really inspect it to see if it was fixable. Everyone wanted to sell me a new HVAC unit. It's so annoying. Jodena at Hubbell Air was the most friendlies.

She put us on the schedule and sent Ray for the inspection. When Ray was at the house, I watched him really trying to troubleshoot everything. Love that he really tried to fix the unit first. When he found that it was rusting from the inside, we had to bite the bullet. I do appreciate how sincere and honest he was. It was a very tight space in the attic they had to get through.

It must be so hot in the attic for Jerry as he put in the new unit. While there's some minor scrape to the wall, Hubbell was very responsible in taking care of it when it was done. Thank you Ray, Jerry and Jodena. Note that if they are busy, its because they are good and are in high demand. Honest HVAC technicians are hard to find. They will treat you right! I'm writing this in my cool house a year later.

Had an emergency with our AC unit in the middle of summer and the owner came out and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue within hours. Saved us from the heat and really broke down what was wrong with the AC. Definitely recommend!

Great service all round. Called them on a Monday morning after realizing my blower fan had gone out. They responded immediately and promised to get back to me in a few hours. They also mentioned that they may not be able to complete repairs the same day but would let me know with way. Got a call from Jerry the technician within a few hours, he diagnosed the problem really fast and was able to complete the repair the same day at a reasonable price. Really glad I found them on Yelp!

Called Mr. Hubbell the day our ac went out. Very humble and kind guy who took the time to speak to me instead of rushing me off the call like others had done. Booked an apt with him and given the time frame and how busy he is we understood that we had no choice but to wait. Lo and behold there was a cancellation. He called in the morning, came over and resolved our issue. Reasonably priced. I'd recommend him any day.

One of my AC units stopped blowing cold air- during the most oppressive heat wave we've had. I called the emergency number and Ray (owner) answered. I told him what was happening and he ended up correctly diagnosing the issue just off of my description. This was early on a Saturday morning and he was slammed with calls, but said he'd try to get by my house later in the day.

He was able to make it out and replaced a bad capacitor in one of my condensers which solved my problem. He also checked out the capacitor in the other condenser and showed me it was running almost five volts low, which indicted it was on the way out. He replaced that capacitor as well. Price was reasonable- especially for a Saturday call out. Overall very good experience and Ray really knows his stuff on HVAC.

My A/C went out the Saturday before Father's Day. I called Hubbell Air Sunday morning and the guy picked right up. He said he was away from his schedule and would call me back. He called back 45 minutes later and asked about the problem. He said it was either a capacitor or compressor. He said he could be at my house the next morning. He arrived right on time and within minutes had it diagnosed and repaired.

The price was extremely reasonable. I couldn't be more happy with the service and price. Absolutely the best A/C company I have worked with. I will be calling them back.

I cannot say enough good about The Hubbell team. They came out to inspect my broken hvac system immediately. The went over options with us that didn't only include the "most" expensive components. Mr. Hubbell was forthcoming with information and really made the experience a positive one. It has now been 2 months since the install and I haven't had a single problem.

I would contribute that to the time and care taken to do the job right the first time. Would I hire Hubbell air again? ABSOLUTLEY! However, with the quality and care given by them I expect I won't have to outside of routine maintenance of course. Thank you Hubbell air!

This a review for Mr. Hubbell's customer service. He was thoughtful and kind. Gave us great advice. We did not use their services at this time but will definitely keep Hubbell Air in mind for the future.

I've been needing to schedule an air conditioning service and just kept forgetting. My daughter in law called Hubble and they came out in less than a week and were very reasonably priced. Her service guy was on time and helpful so I called them. At first I was told it would be a couple of weeks which I understood but then I got a call back because they had an opening for today! We are more than happy with their service. I think I actually talked to the owner and he was great!

Best AC guy I know. He is honest, well equipped, and been in the business over 40 years. I love that Mr. Hubbell is a total pro, and isn't hard to get. He will find a way to fit you into his schedule if at all possible. He's just a great guy. Twice, I thought I would have insanely expensive A/C repairs. Not so. He got right to the problem and fixed it permanently at the right price.

As long as I'm in Bako, I'll go to Hubble Air for my HVAC maintenance and repair. Total pro Fair pricing Cares about his customers. Don't bother with the other guys, Mr. Hubbell at Hubbell air is the man!

Came out and looked at my AC unit. Was told Freon was low and a leak in the evaporator coil. Condemned my unit on age alone and wanted to sell me a new unit $10000. Never did anything more than just check the Freon level. I got a second opinion and they performed a pressure test and did not find any leaks. Their conclusion was unit was worked on in the past and Freon was never replenished.

They filled the AC unit with Freon and has been working for weeks no issues. Been trying to pay Hubbell's bill but billing department is not responding to my calls. My card was declined because your tech took down the wrong numbers on the back of my card. I told him those are the wrong numbers but he insisted they were the correct numbers. I gave up did not want to insult him. I returned all of your calls you did not return my last two calls.

We called Hubbell air because our a/c stopped working and ray and his assistant were at our house right on time at 7am. They replaced a txv valve for us and a/c worked fine for 4 days then suddenly stopped working again. They came back out immediately(on a Sunday!)and found the valve was defective. We had to wait until the next day to have it fixed and ray made sure to bring a portable a/c for us to use. It is now working awesome! This company is punctual, knowledgeable and very nice guys! Will definitely use again!

They did a great job on fixing my old air-conditioner and I was done on time and the price was good. I will use this business again And recommend them highly

Both times I've needed "emergency" air conditioning service I've called Hubble. I really appreciated their sense of urgency, professionalism, and reasonable costs. They even came out on a Sat in July to fix AC at a cost I would have gladly paid double for! I highly recommend Hubbell Air.

The most honest and hard-working guys in the business. They get the job done right, with honesty and integrity. Incredibly knowledgeable in the field and willing to work with customers. This company will not overcharge you for unnecessary fixes and they will get you up and running no matter the season. I cannot say enough good things about Ray and Anthony! We had been without air downstairs and were roasting with the triple digit temps. I called Ray after hours and he had Anthony here at 7:30 the next morning. Anthony was here for several hours, as well as Ray coming by himself. Anthony had to leave to get a part and was back within the hour to finish.

They actually has to repair a problem that the last a.c. shop.we called had caused. Thanks to Hubbell Air, Ray and Anthony now I can comfortably enjoy my living room again. Thanks so much. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone that needs their a.c. checked, serviced or repaired.

There was a bit of miscommunication at the beginning. Mr. Hubbell accidentally dialed the wrong number when he was attempting to call me to come to my home. I called him around 6:30pm to see if he was still coming. I figured he was extremely busy (which he is) and would be late to the appointment. That is when he informed me that he had dialed the wrong number.

I was a bit frustrated because I have a baby and it was extremely hot in our home! Anyway, he let me know that it was his fault and that even though it was after his business hours, he would come take a look at my AC unit. Thank goodness he did. We needed refrigerant (which I figured was the problem) and now my house is nice and cool. He will be coming back to look in the attic for a leak when it gets a bit cooler. I am so thankful for this man and his great customer service. He is very kind and his prices are right!
