Editing my review as Stewart sold the business and this is not Central heating any longer but rather Wilson Heating. Called in a Saturday for an emergency outage on our AC and got a calling service that said they could send someone out in 2 weeks. I explained we needed to leave on vacation but the calling service of course doesn't care. This new company does not offer 24 hour service or any service behind normal hours.

There is no way to actually get a hold of an actual employee for this new Wilson Electric. For this reason, I've changed my review and will use another HVAC service for the future

I called Central Heating & Air to come look at my AC when it wasn't working this spring, and was able to schedule an appointment convenient to me just a few days out. Greg was communicative, on time, friendly, and did a great job. He diagnosed the problem and had me up and running for a fair price within an hour. I'll definitely use them again!

Installs.2 Fujitsu mini split heat pumps and whole house furnace/AC combo NONE! Not a single thing I thought could have done with more skill. Not a oversized clearance hole. Every tube and pipe straight. Every tube and electrical connection sculpted to look as though it came from the factory that way. CREW.very focused, great cooperation and team work, install time counted in hours POST INSTALL.area cleaner than it was when they first arrived, basement, driveway and new AC area. complete new furnace and AC unit looked like a picture from a catalog.

The crew noticed a hot water tank violation and made it right, without asking and at no charge. SATISFACTION.after 4 years of winter heating and summer cooling, 10,000%.NOTE:All work was done while Stewart Unsdorfer was owner.

The staff at Central are all amazing. The technicians are polite and knowledgeable, the office staff are always polite and energetic. I highly recommend this company for any heating/cooling needs!

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness We had three separate appointments for someone to come out and repair our humidifier. Previously we were long time very satisfied customers of this business. However it has recently changed hands and has demonstrated itself to be completely unreliable. Please note the change in ownership of this business and do not use them! I called Central Heating & Air Conditioning Co to see if I could get a mini split added to my bedroom to improve cooling. Instead of selling me on the mini split which would have been more expensive to install, Stewart recommended a zoning system that would work better for me while saving me money. Thank you for your honesty! If things don't work out I will definitely be calling your company!

Central installed our mini-split system and continues to do all the preventive maintenance work. Their recent visit was to replace a defective part. They went over and above to get the unit back in operation and mitigate the 90 degree temperatures. We continue to be extremely happy with both their work and their work ethic. Service: Repair HVAC

The service we received was fantastic. Our service technician was Ken. He's was friendly, thorough, and very helpful. Ken gave us some tips for preventative maintenance and made sure everything was in working order. We were so impressed we signed up for spring and fall service. Awesome experience. 09/02/21: We had regular maintenance done by Greg today.

He was fast, friendly and efficient. Greg took time to review everything he did to our system. We asked about replacing a whole home humidifier and Greg got us set up for that too. We've had two different interactions with this company now with two different technicians. Both experiences have been fantastic.

Kenny came very late in the evening. It was so late, I felt sorry for him since I knew he was out in the sun all day. He asked a few questions about what the AC was doing and immediately said 'It's one or two things'. Took out two screws, opened the cover and pulled a leaf out of the relays contacts & the AC came to life. He then educated me on what non-professionals needed to do if they wanted to safely do what he had done.

He then ran some tests and closed up the unit. Very professional and on time. I couldn't be happier. Some unscrupulous people might have tried to sell me a new unit but he just said if you have any other problems give us a call. He also gave me some parting tips on how to extended the life of the unit. Very impressed. Will call if we have any other problems.

This Company has Impeccable service! Stewart was great at explaining our options, When another company (My Guys) just wanted money to look at my furnace and I was advised they can't fix it that I need a new furnace. Called Stewart at Central Heating & Air Conditioning Co and he said no charge going to come out and look at it. He said I need some work done on the old furnace but he could fix it.

After weighing my options we decided the best investment is to replace our old furnace so we could have peace of mind. The Technician that came out was Brandon, and let me just say The service we had was the service you use to get back in the day! You will not get service like this just anywhere! Brandon was very respectful! did a outstanding job! he cleaned up after the job!

We have used Central Heating and Air Conditioning since 1991. They have always been professional, fairly priced, and extremely knowledgeable. This most recent service was on a system that they did not install. The technician found multiple problems, including a drain pipe that was not connected to the drain! His knowledge and experience will quite possibly safe us from future water damage. I absolutely recommend this company.

Quick update. The tech that followed up after Central serviced my boiler a month ago discovered the skimmer valve 100 clogged and drain a quart of oil from it. Indicating Central's tech never touched it. Also discovered the shipping pins were still in the burner tubes indicating they had never been cleaned.

Disorganized, chaotic and unreliable. Do not answer questions from customers in a timely fashion. Send unwanted spam email to customers.

If you ever need your furnace or AC replaced or fixed and are looking for a reliable, responsible and quick to react contractor, you should pick Stewart and his team at Central. I used them in two diffrent houses to replace a furnace they were competitive, quick and very professional in both events.

Zero stars. Called 8am on a Tuesday, left message. Never called back. And this was in November. I will look elsewhere for future service and repair on my furnace.

I have been a customer of Central heating for a few years and before that my Mom was for years. After she died I moved into her house and I had a LOT to learn about water boiler furnaces. The first year I was in the house the pipes leading to the furnace had major leaking issues (no dripping beforehand, was a total surprise). Central was very proactive and custom made piping to replace the old pieces.

Since then I mainly have needed them for yearly check ups, but last Sunday morning the furnace shut off and I could not restart it. Miraculously they were able to fit me in the next day (yesterday), and service tech Emad diagnosed it as a blown heating cool, which he replaced in a timely manner. Emad (who has been with the company for 15 years, so that tells you something), was great at explaining what he was doing and gave me advice about regulating the water level.

The outdoor temp yesterday was in the high teens (windchill), so my day went from very chilly inside the house to comfy by the evening. I HIGHLY recommend Central heating, a rock solid local company that always does right by me! Thanks!

I am giving this company NO stars. Their technician was not acquainted with, or trained to repair the unit I have, which is only five years old. After battling with the unit quitting late each night, the technician would appear the next day and find yet something else he hadn't considered. I will say that the technician was extremely nice. Long story short though, I contacted the company that had installed the furnace (the reason I didn't initially is that they are not close to my area) and they were shocked at what had been done to the unit AND what I had been charged.

Two men worked all day to repair the damage done by the Central technician. Two lessons learned: If possible, deal with the company who installed your unit and never make an emergency call. Call during regular hours. If I hadn't been worried about my pipes, I would have waited until the next day and would have avoided a log of grief (and cost). When I heard that the Central Heating owner had suggested to the technician that he sell me a new furnace, it killed any faith I had in Central Heating.

Central had my heater backup and running within 2 hours of calling, for that they deserve 5 stars. The technician was prompt and courteous. The owner responded and resolved my concerns.

Very surprised that Central heating & cooling has not been reviewed yet! This company has serviced the heating system in my house for many years (older home boiler heat system). Each representative over the years has been very professional, arrives on time and gets the job done as quick as they can. Yesterday I needed a part replaced, and Emad, the tech, was great, he explained everything he did and how to maintain the system.

The owner actually chastised me on Yelp for waiting so long to post the review. Hello? Yelp wasn't available when your company tried to burn me. He also asked why I did not call him directly and report that his technician tried to replace a perfectly good pump. Well, Sir. What good would that have done? And do you think I am dumb enough to believe that this is not a company-wide tactic for increasing your profits? We all have seen the expose s on TV about the customer abuses in your industry. You are one of the Bad Guys and people should know it.
