Rincon Air Conditioning & HTNG

I called Rincon at 3 pm on a Friday for air conditioner diagnosis on a very hot summer day and they sent someone over within 10 minutes. The technician Steven diagnosed the issue and charged the freon. The issue was fixed by 4:15 pm same day and the price was very reasonable. Steven was very knowledgeable and polite and answered all of my questions in detail. Overall excellent experience and would recommend. Will update review if any issues arise.

If I could give Rincon 10 stars I would. They were absolutely amazing! John returned my inquiry promptly, accommodated our schedule and was very kind. Having just moved into our new home in December, we had no idea that our AC wasn't working properly until last month when the temperatures got really warm. We turned on the AC and NOTHING! I contacted Rincon and was given an appointment within two days.

Another company told me they could come out as overtime or on June 3rd. Yeah, okay, sure. NO THANKS. Todd arrived ahead of our appointment time, diagnosed the problem as a blown fuse and faulty thermostat. He fixed both issues and changed the filters in under an hour! AMAZING! He was kind, professional, efficient and even put up with our barking Yorkie. Laugh.

Our AC unit was 25 years old and on it's last legs. We shopped around and spoke with 4 other Tucson companies. Estimates ranged from high to low. One guy took a look at our house and decided it wasn't "properly ducted" when it was built, and anything other than a single stage unit would be overkill and a waste of money. One of our issues with our old unit is that it is a single stage AC and loud.

I called John at Rincon Air about this and he thoughtfully responded to the question without disparaging the other company. I appreciated his straight forwardness. Based on this interaction, we chose to move forward with Rincon Air and bought a two stage unit despite the claims from the other company who tried to steer us into a Bosch HVAC system that cost almost $20,000.

The installation crew came in and quickly removed the old unit, and installed the new one. The crew was professional, courteous, and friendly. We are thrilled with our new AC unit. It is quiet, it is much more efficient, and cools our house so much better than the old unit. With the cooler nights we have right now, we can run the fan in stage one, where we barely hear the system. Night and day difference! We highly recommend Rincon Air.

Rincon Air Conditioning & Heating was a breath of fresh air when we needed an HVAC system installed in Tucson. We had just experienced a horribly unprofessional situation with another HVAC company in Tucson who removed our AC unit during the peak of summer and THEN told us the next day that they did not have the unit we had ordered from them. Rincon came to our rescue and not only had the equipment we wanted in stock but provided responsive and thorough service from start to finish.

Our Rincon sales representative, Neil Chamberlain, was fabulous to work with and is still responsive to answering our post-installation questions. The Rincon installation team was also polite, conscientious and thorough, from the removal of our old system to installing the new one. Rincon may not be the cheapest company to go with in town, but we learned our lesson that cheap doesn't mean good quality. Rincon was worth paying the extra money.

After researching dozens of companies online, I selected 6 vendors in Tucson to provide bids for complete HVAC replacement. Our AC went out late on a Friday. They had someone there within 90 minutes. Buddy helped us understand what the problem was then gave us repair & replacement options -- no sales pressure at all. Opted for a new unit. Prep work was done first thing Monday morning, new unit installed by Tuesday afternoon. They even loaned us a portable unit to get by over the 4 nights we waited.

I've been using Rincon for many years, both for inherited HVAC and new installations. They are responsive, (very important in our desert climate) courteous, will explain what you need to know, and with minimum fuss, get the job done. The team of men, Ricky, Logan, Danny, and Marco, did a superb installation--removing the old furnace and installing a new heat pump, some ductwork, and outside condenser--all on a 106 degree day with not a single complaint.

They even painted the new ductwork in the Arizona room so that it now blends seamlessly with the beams. Even my handyman was impressed! I am delighted with the job they did and only wish I could hire the entire team to do something else! They have my heartiest recommendation.

Our AC compressor went out today, one of the hottest days of the summer so far, and because Rincon Air installed our unit 4 years ago, I called them immediately. From the phone call to a house call in 30 minutes is pretty impressive! The service was super and the repairs were made promptly. The compressor was still under warranty, and fortunately they had everything they needed to make the repairs. Back to cool AC in record time! Would not hesitate to recommend!

Thank you, Rincon! Have had a maintenance contract with Rincon for years, when I moved from eastside to midtown, they installed a new heat pump. Excellent service! This summer has been miserable! My house suddenly warmed to uncomfortable on a 115 degree day--called-John apologized "Can't get Neil out there until noon!" I had expected at least a day or two!

I returned from errands--Cool, comfortable house again! Then after a power serge on Sat, late afternoon--messed up the system--I had a call Sun morning by 8! Just checking to see if all was adjusted and my house was cool again! That's over and above customer service! Absolutely 5 star service again and again!

Add me to the growing list of glowing reviews for Rincon AC. It was a complete accident I stumbled on them when our HVAC guy stopped dealing with extended warranties. Having two properties both with these purchased extended warranties, that was a bit of a blow and off in search of a company that would honor them and Rincon came through. Since then they have been our HVAC company and have continued to be professional and knowledgeable with both routine maintenance and a couple of unexpected breakdowns.

We also have an apartment and decided to update and upgrade the heating and cooling there by installing a new mini-split and having all the old baseboard, swamp cooler and window-type A/C unit removed. We couldn't have been happier with the quality of of the work, the professionalism of the fellows doing the work and we felt it was a very fair cost. I absolutely, positively recommend these guys.

We were desperate. Our AC went out on July 3rd. We had our family and little grandkids staying with us and a big party scheduled for the 4th. It was supposed to be 105 that day and was already approaching mid-80s inside our house. I started calling around to whatever names popped up in the google search to hope to find someone, ANYONE, to come out that same day. Rincon was an answer to our prayers.

They told us Jay would be out to see us between 12-3. He was so very helpful and gracious to deal with our situation and had the fan motor in his van. It was replaced and our home started cooling down right away. Rincon Air and Jay were awesome. Can't thank them enough! We slept well that night and the party went on as planned.

I have used several AC & Heating companies during the past 20 years and have found Rincon to be way above the rest! They are very professional and knowledgeable and seem to know about all units.even very old ones. If you want excellent work at a reasonable price there is no better company in Tucson!
