Specialty Air was started by Dave Standage in 1996. Dave has been involved in HVAC for 40 years now. Many of our accounts have had Dave as their service technician for 20 years or more. His honesty, integrity and ability to diagnose and repair HVAC equipment has allowed him to be successful in this business. I joined the company in 1998, and am in charge of operations. Dave and I are committed to providing quality service to our commercial/industrial customers at a fair price. What we've found over the years is a loyal following of customers for which we are very grateful.

There have not been major design changes in rooftop units for a while. Most have been around refrigerant changes, scroll compressors, VFD's for fan control, and economizers. However, we are seeing more and more variable refrigerant flow split units being installed now. Variable Refrigerant Flow Units are the trend overseas and have potential over here in new design and retrofit designs.-
WHAT we do. We do it with full attention and finish the job even if it is over budget. Customer satisfaction is our reputation. Plant chilling equipment maintenance, Plant Hotwater boiler maintenance, Heat recovery, Heat wheels, Energy Management: Buildings and plant and equipment.
