I’m the caretaker for a large home in Scottsdale area. 4 A/C units needed Service and Repairs. Donley was prompt in getting a technician out with a days notice. Technician was Glenn Martin. Professional all the way around. Excellent service and changed the hard to find and reach.

My AC quit working yesterday evening. I am 66 years old and I am on oxygen. It was getting harder to breathe as the temp climbed overnight. I called shortly after they opened and Jason Torres was here in just over an hour. He replaced one part and my AC is working. He also checked my filter and replaced it for me. He swept up dirt that fell in the process. He explained everything so that I could understand. He did education on my filter and what I should do going forward. I highly recommend Donley for all your needs.

Donley came out to repair an A/C system and they diagnosed the problem immediately. They proceeded to clean out a clogged drain pipe that was in the garage (very easy access) and it took only about 10 minutes to clear out the clog with compressed air and then pour water through it (only one plastic zip tie was needed during the repair, no other parts).

For the few minutes they were here including diagnosis, unclogging the pipe, and filling out the paperwork, they charged me over $200, not including the $89 service fee. So for being here less than 20 minutes, their bill was over $300. Be sure to get an estimate from them prior to any work, as in my opinion, they charge a grossly inordinate amount relative to the amount of time they spend on the repair. Not including the service fee, their charges were equivalent to a labor fee of over $600 per hour.

We heard about Donley AC on AZ Family channel 3 and called them because our AC was not working. A tech came out and inspected the unit, and informed us of the repair choices, we chose to have a new unit installed. Their salesmen came to our house and provided choices of units. We went with a Goodman unit, and very satisfied with the price and quality.

My sister in law told me that their AC unit was acting up, they did call a different AC company who wanted to charge them quite bit. I told my sister in law about Donley AC, my sister Rachel called Donley AC and explained their AC issues and the fact my sister has been diagnosed with cancer and after her treatments her body gets very hot. They sent a tech named Jason, he went to her house, said they did not have a leak and did not need to get a new unit like as they have been told from the other place. Jason was there for over an hour and did some maintenance work and did not charge my sister.

This just goes to show that Donley AC is about honesty and professionalism and caring. Thank you very much Jason and the Donley AC family for taking care of my sister. I highly recommend this company to eveyone.

I dont even know where to start. So much positive to say, but I'll (try to) keep it brief. The last thing I thought I would ever do would be writing a review for a plumber. Donley plumbing has saved us - TWICE. The first plumbing need we had for Donley was to finish a job that another plumber started and messed up on. We contacted Donley due to our first plumber being flighty, unresponsive, unprofessional, unethical, unreliable, inconsistent, damaged our floor (in a spot in which they were not even working) and.

I could go on. They talk a big game, act like there invested in your project but they're not. they also do not communicate with each other because we would be told different things from different plumbers within the company. After months of putting up with this company we contacted Donley Plumbing and they fixed the problem within a week for THOUSANDS less than the first plumber that left us hanging numerous times for weeks at a time. ( I can not name the first/horrible plumber/ company in this review, but I will be happy to share the name of this company with anyone/everyone that wants to know) Doneley's office staff and plumbers were compassionate, responsive, professional and get this - THEY ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT THEY'RE DOING. And, they did the first job for a fair price.

The second time was for more of what we thought was an emergency situation but wasn't vs. a plumbing install as the first job was. The response could have been a little better (we had to call back twice). For the second job, they were still very personable, professional and down to earth. They explained things in a way that could be understood by someone that does not know plumbing or plumbing terminology.

The cost of the second job was a bit high considering what was done and the labor involved (and was not an emergency situation by the way). especially since the materials, time and labor of the first job was more way than the second. Not sure if we received some type of first-time customer discount the first time or what, but we will likely continue to use Donely Plumbing for all of our future plumbing needs as long as they don't start ripping us off too. :D Special thanks to Hayden, Walt, Matt and Ralph!

We had a sizable slab leak occur and needed emergency service to prevent more water loss. Donley's service was amazing! On time, responsive, and so very professional! They brought in a leak specialist and pinpointed the problem in very short order. We couldn't be happier with the service and professionalism!

We bought a combo heat pump unit 3 years ago ( over $5000). Unit would not turn on to heat this year. Called Mike Carroll, salesman who sold us unit. He told me there would be NO CHARGE to come out and check unit. Made appt and two days before date they texted to say THEY changed appt to the next day. Called them and made arrangements to come on the day they were suppose to. Jason showed up on time and determined problem was the thermostat.

He said it would be $79.00 for diagnostic service and ARE YOU READY FOR THIS $330.00 to replace the thermostat that costs less than $30.00 at home depot. Told him to contact Mike about service charge and NO THANK YOU on something that should cost less the $100 total to replace. Bought new thermostat for $28.00 and replaced same in less that 10 mins.

Service Tech's make commission on UP SELLING customers. Well don't worry Donley and Mike I'm due to change both my 3 and 3.5 Trane units that are over 20 years old and I won't be checking with YOUR company. You just lost over $10,000 thanks to JASON.

We had another fabulous experience today with Donley! Our jetted tub water would not shut off so we had to turn off the water to the house which is inconvenient to say the least. Travis arrived on-time, was able to secure parts and fix our tub and repair a couple other fixtures (shower/sink). He was knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to have in our home. Everything is now back in working order and we cannot be happier. I highly recommend their plumbing services!

Our home warranty company (Old Republic Home Protection - the worst) covers some plumbing issues (or are supposed to). But their contractors either aren't very skilled and/or they try to drive up costs so the warranty co will pay more. I've had a few plumbing issues that were fairly simple yet 4-5 different plumbing companies contracted by the warranty company were unable to fix.

After 4 mos of a leaky faucet which even I knew needed a replacement cartridge it is finally fixed! At least 4 other plumbers couldn't figure out this latest issue (saying the cartridges were stuck and they couldnt replace) instead said a demolition of my bathroom was the only next step - crazy. I called Donley on a Monday, they came and fixed the faucet on Wednesday. Professional, reliable, honest, trustworthy, straightforward. So refreshing after the horrible experiences we have had. Thank you!

Can't say enough good things about Donley. Three years ago, we chose them to replace three HVAC units at our home in Paradise Valley. We received several quotes and they were at the low end of the range. Their service, quality, and customer service is unmatched. Returned home from a trip yesterday to find one the units was not heating. I called late last night.it's now the following morning and the problem has been fixed.

They sent a technician (Garret, he's AMAZING) first thing, he diagnosed the problem, and had us back up and running in a few hours. The best part. NO CHARGE! If you're considering any HVAC work, do yourself a favor and choose Donley. We're certainly glad that we did, and couldn't be happier. THANK YOU GARRET, AND EVERYONE AT DONLEY!

I am only giving 1 star because 0 stars is not an option the service was so horrible. We have used Donley to service plumbing emergencies at our rentals for about 10 years. Though prices have gone up recently ($650 to scope a main line), we didn't have any customer service issues until today. Unfortunately, it was such extreme rudeness and lack customer service, we will never do business with Donley Plumbing again.

I called due to a plumbing emergency at a rental. After having to make 2 calls to the on-call dispatcher, someone called me back trying to push the service to next week. I explained again, it was an emergency and couldn't wait. I was told it would cost more, but the tech could be out in an hour or two to service. (I understand off hours service costs more.

I can't control when things break.) 2 hours later, an extremely rude technician, Walter, called and informed me his tools were broken and he could come out and look at it, but he wouldn't service the emergency. This would incur the off hours service fee, but he wasn't going to fix the issue. In further conversation, he ultimately just didn't want to take the call because the drive was too far.

We told him we were going inform the company of his poor service. He said he was the supervisor and it didn't matter. We will not do business with Donley in the future. If you have a plumbing emergency, I would recommend calling a company with technicians that want to work. Donley wasted over 3 hours of our time today, delaying the ability to triage the plumbing emergency because they were too lazy to come look at the issue.

I could have had the issue resolved today if they were just honest and said they didn't want my business when I initially called. I can understand if Donley couldn't fit in the emergency service, just say so on the initial call. It's unreasonable to waste 3 hours in an emergency situation, then say you don't want to service the call. Since Walter is the supervisor and there's no escalation option, posting to save others the hassle.

I needed a new thermostat. Jose was prompt, replaced the unit in 30 minutes and checked the heat pump unit to make sure everything was working. Couldn't recommend Donley more. Service: Heating maintenance

Serviced our rental house with a plumbing problem. When repairman arrived, problem had corrected itself (maybe because tenant had plunged the toilets). After checking everything out for 25 minutes, the plumber left, saying "no charge"! Not even a trip charge! Boy, will we use them again! Service: Unclog drain

I had my water heater finally go out after 5 years of being in the house (The water heater was 14 years old so I was not that upset about it). I received Donley as a recommendation and submitted a form on Sunday via their website, received a call from Simone about an hour or two later to get additional information on the water heater I had, the space we would be installing it, schedule my appointment and received email confirmation of the appointment all at the same time.

The next morning I received a call and a follow-up text from my assigned technician, Travis M. We were able to confirm my replacement heater and he arrived during the designated time I was originally provided and removed and hooked up my new heater with ease. I have had some service work done in my short time in AZ but this was by far the best customer service I have received from beginning to end. Travis walked me through everything he was doing, answered all of my random questions and we just shared stories while he worked.

I would recommend this company for sure and if you happen to live in Pinal County, I would recommend Travis any day of the week. Thank you again for the quick turnaround and amazing service.

I called out to Donley and was told they had someone in the area and could come check my situation out. Within 45 minutes, Dan was here. Let me tell you about Dan. He got straight to work, never taking an idle moment. He was very friendly and professional. He devised a sound plan of attack and made it happen quickly! The final cost was below his initial estimate, which is *always* awesome! Donley should be promoting Dan M (Plumbing Supervisor) soon, because he's a valuable asset to their organization!

Beware. They left a 60 year old woman and a 14 year old dog in a house that was 94 degrees was told how good their customer service was and how long they have been in business. Was told if they couldn't fix it that day they would provide temporary cooling. The tech was supposed to come back inside to let her know what was happening. It was too hot inside the house for him to write up the estimate so he got in his a/c truck and never came back.

Literally put my family in grave danger without any concern whatsoever. Would you consider this good customer service? Or just another company out for a quick buck. You decide

We have a service contract with this company. Had an issue with ac unit last week. 110degrees. Tech came out after having to call back multiple times. Tech said it was electrical. He suggested we call an electrician. Did so and $150 later he said nothing was wrong with the unit getting power. Called them back Monday and receptionist stated we will have a call back in 15 minutes. Four days later still have not heard from anyone. Unfortunately I would not recommend this company.

Donley has been servicing our AC's for many years. After our semiannual checkup, a wine cooling unit stopped working. They came over the weekend to discover it needed a new part. The store didn't open for several days. Donley had the store open at 9pm on a Saturday to get the part. Tony, the service technician, spent many hours in the middle of the night fixing the AC.

They didn't charge us anything. There is simply no better AC service company in Phoenix. There isn't a better service company of any type in Phoenix. I couldn't recommend a company more than Donley.

The service representative was masked and knew his business - skilled and polite. Good service The big negative was the price! Very expensive. Example: we were told that our water pressure was too high (91 lbs) and needed a new main water pressure valve. Donley quoted price: $1100. Bids from two other plumbers for same repair = $500 - $550. Another example from Donley. Asked price to repair a mechanism inside toilet tank. $92 from Donley repair tech. Went to Home Depot and bought the parts and after 25 min had the repair made. Cost $6 Good service but too expensive.

Donely AC/Plumbing, came out yesterday and had the audacity to quote me $14K to repair a broken water main or $20K to replace it! While I was in the midst of a full fledged panic attack, my sister researched and found that it shouldn't be more than $5K. I got a callback from the 2nd pro that I'd left a message for, Everhart Plumbing, and he quoted me $3500 for pipe replacement, plus he changed the head on the outside spigot and added a back-flow valve that was missing for free! I'm so impressed with his work and honesty that I've hired him to install a water filtration system and to replace my kitchen faucet. Really, Donley, $20,000? Price gouging at its best!

At 4:30 I noticed that the air conditioner was running, but that the air wasn't cool enough. We had purchased our air conditioner from Donley seven years ago, so we looked up that information and called for service. The reply we got is that a technician could be there between 6:00 - 8:00 that evening! Hunter was here by 6:30. When we told him the scenario he diagnosed that it could be one of three things wrong, and checked them all out.

Within an hour we were back to cool air, and the faulty part was covered by warranty. Hunter was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. We could not have asked for a better experience from our moment of panic to being cool two hours later!

When having problems with a differential temperature control for my solar water heater, their service man was helpful and put in a new one, with a one-year warranty, for $528. 3 months after the warranty expired, the control failed and Donley would not replace it without starting all over with new labor and new parts. Another company replaced the one Donley put in with an identical one for $200! I realized then how much Donley overcharged me $328 for the first one which lasted only a little over a year.

Our AC unit quit last night! We have been using Donley for 10 years, so we scheduled an appointment and Michael K arrived earlier than expected and gave us the verdict within 10 minutes of arrival. He had us up and running in 20 minutes and also took the time to insure everything else was okay with the rest of unit. We couldn't be happier with the service! Michael K was professional, prompt and thorough. We have used several different companies in our many years living here and Donley has always been the best by far. Honest and fair pricing.

We had a Bryant Air-conditioner installed by Donley 2 years ago. This is a wonderful air-conditioner, my neighbor chose a different company (the main one here in Phoenix that advertises constantly). Let me tell you, there is NO comparison! They have had nothing but problems with the other company, even though I suggested Donley, and I sit back and shake my head. I bought a house with a 9 year parts and labor warranty that I assumed we could use. They would not honor the warranty even though the previous owner paid a lot of money for it and it was still in the time period. They also said it would be several days to order the part or I could replace the water heater for a discounted price of only $1,300.

We used Donley for the first time yesterday to repair our furnace, and we are tremendously pleased. We had initially heard about Donley in a glowing newspaper article published in the Arizona Republic a few years ago. I saved their name for when we needed a repair company. They came out the same day we called them, diagnosed the problem quickly, and fixed it for a very reasonable price.

I was also given information about a plumbing issue I mentioned, and info about our aging a/c units. No attempt was made to sell us anything - and the technician was polite and very punctual. I want our service providers to make money so they stay in business and will be there the next time we need them. However, many of us have been taken advantage of by less scrupulous service companies in the past, and are therefore cautious when using a new company.

We will certainly make Donley our go-to company for all furnace, a/c and plumbing needs, and based upon their service yesterday, I can recommend them. Thanks guys! Keep doing what you're doing and keeping it honest. It's appreciated and will serve you well in the long run. Richard in Scottsdale

Called Donley on a Sunday morning after the other guys that's hard to spell blew us off on a day that was 112. When I called they gave me a window of when the tech would be here to preform a diagnostic. Our tech Enes arrived on time. He checked several things and found out it was only a wire that wasn't making contact. The unit had been serviced last year by another company.

I can't say for sure but it looked a little fishy. The unit would work but not blow. The other company probably would have come back and told us we needed a blower motor. Enes fixed the thermostat wire, waited to make sure the unit would start to cool before cleaning up and being on his way. A company not as trustworthy as Donley, or Enes could have taken us to the cleaners instead of only charging for a service call. I will use them again for any HVAC needs and highly recommend them and Enes to all of my family and friends.

It sucks when the company that installed your current AC units, still under warranty, don't know how to fix them. Yes.this is the very issue we're having right now, and we've gone two days.no air.in the heat of summer. Watch out for these guys. The technician was a nice guy, but I don't trust the company he works for!
