Active Plumbing & Air

The original company that I had purchased my AC units and warranties from is no longer servicing my area, so I had to go looking for another company. Active was very prompt to respond, professional, and polite. They sent a technician (TL) out within a few hours on a Saturday afternoon and a few hours later, the upstairs unit was back up and running! I was so grateful to get this fixed before the Las Vegas Summer heat did us all in! Moving forward, we will be using Active for our regular maintenance as well.

Update: Our kitchen sink was not draining. We called Active Plumbing and Tony came out. He was great! He took care of our sink issue, gave me tips to keep it happily draining, and signed me up to their home maintenance plan. He then flushed my hot water heater (included in the plan) and discovered our water pressure was at 100% (should be 40 - 60%).

He tried to correct it but the thing to correct it (the PRV?)was broken. Sigh. It needed to be replaced. But, since I was a home maintenance member now I get 15% off all work. Two days later Marco comes to fix the PRV. He was, as I've come to expect, awesome! He replaced what needed replacing then checked each faucet, shower, sink, and toilet to make sure everything was up to snuff.

He discovered my husband's bathroom sink was draining slow so he fixes it on the spot. No extra charge. Just GREAT customer service I've now come to expect. Original review: I called Active Plumbing & Air Conditioning this morning because we had a clogged toilet my trusty plunger and I could not clear. I was told a plumber would be at my home within an hour and, lo and behold, he was! Now, I am a woman who has MUCH trouble with names.

I'm going to say it was Brandon who showed up (I was told his name, which I repeated, more than once). Brandon took a look at my issue and was able to get the water flowing in no time at all. He was pleasant and professional. My entire experience with Active Plumbing was positive. I now have their number in my contacts and will be reaching out to them for all of my plumbing and HVAC needs.

Kitchen sink with disposal was plugged. Service Tech was prompted, friendly and knowledgeable and had drain unplugged quickly working properly. I will contact Ative Plumbing for my plumbing needs. Thanks

Active Plumbing installed a new AC system in our older rental home about a week ago. The previous system was very old and stopped functioning. It was important to have a new system installed before the weather started to get real hot. I wanted to give it at least week before giving a review, in case the system was not performing as anticipated. In the end, Active Plumbing and Air ended up installing two brand new condensers.

The AC is working quite well right now. Wanted to give a shout out to Shawn Williams (Sr. Technician) and his crew. They did a great job installing under difficult circumstances due to how old the home is. Giving 4 stars since I can't give 4 1/2. Pros: 1. Crew was mostly on-time, they arrived about half hour late, but was not a huge problem since we were home anyway. 2.

Crew was careful not to damage any furniture as they were coming and going in and out the premises. 3. The installed system appears to be working very well right now. Cons: 1. Crew could have done a little better job cleaning up some of the mess that was left behind. There was some debris that I had to vacuum up later, but it was not too bad.

I had a great experience with Active Plumbing, from the initial call to dispatched repairman. They were fast, prompt and resolved my issues.

Fast and professional service. The company quickly sent out the techs that we needed the same day (rather than trying to book us days out). Terry was extremely informative and detailed in his explanation of what was happening with our HVAC unit and tips to assure it's working properly. I called them and they showed up pretty quickly in under an hour and a half. The guy was nice and knew what he was doing. I felt confident when he left that the job was fixed properly.

The folks at Active Plumbing and Air Conditioning did a fantastic job for me! After finding that my heating unit was arguably unsafe to operate, we negotiated a more than reasonable price for a full new HVAC install. The entire extraction and re-install took less than a single day. They took great care to lay down plastic to mitigate any mess through the rest of the house and did a great job on cleanup at the end of the day.

Got appointment with Active Plumbing within two hours of calling about my Luke warm "hot" water. Brandon, my service tech, called to let me know he would arrive in 10 minutes. He was very polite, personable & patient, & listened to my hot water heater issues without interruption. Brandon then flushed out my water heater, explaining what he was doing every step of the way.

Then he noticed my pilot light was out & showed me how to relight. He then asked me a few questions about my hot water heater & suggested I get a magnesium anode rod to prolong the life of the heater. Brandon explained in detail what the benefits of the rod were. I asked for the price estimate & when I said it might be too expensive, he offered to call office & ask for a discount.

We discussed a little more about the necessity of switching out the rod & then Brandon went to purchase it. He called again when he was within 10 minutes of arriving. He replaced the rod quickly; we were both shocked at how corroded the old old was, so good thing it was replaced. Brandon talked to me about the maintenance program Active Plumbing had; I said I would think about it.

He wrote my bill up. I was able to charge to my credit card. Brandon put a service reminder sticker on my heater for me & I had hot running water again, all within just 3 hours of my initial call to Active Plumbing & Air Conditioning. Very satisfied with Active Plumbing & Air Conditioning, & even more satisfied with their service tech, Brandon. Thanks, Brandon!

Excellent service. I called about a heating problem, and within an hour, the tech was at our door ready to help. T.L. was thorough. He explained what he was doing and took the time to ensure we understood why the problem occurred and how to prevent the issue from happening again. I was informed of additional services they offer, but not pressured into buying anything extra, which was refreshing. He answered all of my questions with honesty and professionalism. Was having a problem with my heater and with it getting really cold, I needed it to be fixed. Found Active Plumbing and Air Conditioning online through reviews and decided to give them a shot. T.L. and Raul came the next day and quickly diagnosed there was a problem with my heat sensor. They fixed it and for a very affordable price. Will definitely be using them again. Highly recommend.

I had a major pipe break at my house on a Saturday afternoon, had a great experience with the Active Plumbing Service who showed up quickly and worked into the night to get my repair completed successfully! The whole experience was excellent, and I will definitely be using them again in the future. They are a smaller company in Las Vegas and still have the great work ethic that we all look for in service people, that can be very hard to find in larger companies! I Recommend them highly.

Highly recommend this family owned company. Very efficient, prompt service, explained problems and remedies. Technicians TL and Raoul were very personable, professional and efficient. Active Plumbing was amazing. We had called a few places for quotes, but our neighbors had Active Plumbing at their house. The two employees came over while they were waiting to give some free advice and recommended their company. After an outrageous quote from a well known company, I called Active. They called within the hour to set up an appointment.

They arrived within a few hours and gave a more accurate diagnosis that would not cause as much damage to our yard and pockets. Billy and his son were helpful, honest and quick. We had our water pipe replaced and trench filled by the evening. Carl was amazing with financing and numbers help and really wanted to get us the best deal possible. Excellent and trustworthy business. Been using them for many years now as they have grown and expanded. Most techs are great, the leads are always great. Some simple service prices have become more than I feel are appropriate and even sometimes comical and shocking, but for the trustworthy service overall I continue and recommend them.

They are fast, know everything about your plumbing and air conditioning, quick and reasonable. They are dependable and friendly. I definitely recommend them.
