First of all, it was Noah Butler who arrived at my door not Justin. Noah was professional and checked many things in my home: water heaters, air ducts, etc. and gave me prices on the costs for each. I had asked Sunset to send a furnace filter with the technician and Noah was not aware of this. He suggested Amazon, Ace or Home Depot. None of these places had the correct size and Sunset does but carry filters anymore. Ace gave me a name & number of a filter company and they ordered it for me. It will arrive on the 2nd working day.

Good company that gives professional service. Gave me an option of an expensive repair on my 20 year old furnace or to replace. Also that the air conditioner was nearing its end. I went for replacing both. They were able to do it the next day. Veniamin was the installer. Nothing but praise for him. When he pulled up the old air conditioner, the deck boards under it were rotted. I had some treated boards and he cut them to size and repaired the space. I was amazed that they could get electricians on such notice also. Thank you Sunset and Veniamin!

Our service technician Nathan arrived on time and immediately started to service our furnace. During the service Nathan explained concerns found while running the test of the furnace. Once complete, Nathan explained clearly concerns he had found and what we needed to do to correct the concern. We also discussed what it would take to replace our 18 year old furnace. Nathan is a personable, professional and very easy to talk to.

Our heat pump went out Tuesday. Sunset came right away and diagnosed that our 1999 heat pump was not fixable.obviously. They were able to replace the entire system on Friday in 4.5 hours. Jake Miller was our technician. He was so personable, professional and wow, what a hard worker! He did the entire removal & install by himself. This is our first time utilizing Sunset and would highly recommend this company. Eric, who was the initial tech that came out was great and thoroughly explained why it wasn't a fixer-upper, but a replacement need where we didn't feel like it was a "sale". They use a third party call service that can be a little wonky. They gave me a timeframe from 2-4, but were too busy to show up. They guaranteed to show the next day, so I gave them a second chance. Super helpful and thorough when they arrived. The actual service was great, but was a little bummed when they didn't show up after confirming (granted it was 106 degrees and the whole city had issues).

My air conditioner crapped out and I called the first company that popped up on the Google that was still open late in the afternoon. They sent out a tech within an hour. Shavon was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we understood all our options. The work will be on Saturday, looking forward to having a working AC and heating unit!

Noah did a great job with our repair estimate. They were really backed up, so, like others, my original appointment kept getting moved out hours, then days, then a week. But they had a cancellation today and were able to work me in, and Noah showed up right when he said he would, discussed the problem, consulted with his colleagues, and got me the repair estimate right away. He even cheerfully tolerated my too crazy dog jumping all over him! (The dog gets only two stars for her behavior, but Noah gets five!)

I had a complicated ac install and they went above and beyond to get it taken care of, without any additional charges. They were professional and kept me informed of what they were doing and why. They showed up on time every time. They might be a bit more expensive but they make up for it with quality equipment and outstanding service. Edit: I just realized they replaced my furnace water pump as well and reinstallled the drain tubes so they were up to code without saying a word about it. I can't get over what a stellar job this company has done.

We had a new Goodman air conditioning system installed and were very pleased with the work of John and Kai. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day and worked hard all day. Both were friendly and professional. The new system is terrific and so much quieter than our old 23-year-old system, both on the inside and the outside.

I had originally purchase a service plan for my HVAC system, but while Marques was inspecting my furnace he showed me pictures of my furnace that had cracks and needed replacing. He helped me select the furnace that fit my budget as well as a new hot water heater. He scheduled the install for later in the week. He was knowledgeable and pleasant to work with.

My technician Matt provided outstanding support. He explained every step of the process as he diagnosed my AC problem. He explained all my options - and we discussed both positive and negative aspects of each of my choices. There was no pressure. Taylor was great to work with. I just bought my home, and he helped educate me on some things regarding my HVAC system. He is a consummate professional who takes pride in what he does, as it is evident by the service he provides. A great technician. Had my new furnace and AC installed less than 48 hrs from calling them. Tad went over the pricing and packages with me and was super knowledgeable and nice. The install team was fantastic. I highly recommend this company especially Thomas Marques HVAC Service Tech. Thorough smart honest and just a really nice guy in general! He even took the time to show us through a camera our furnace issue! Unfortunately we need to replace the old with a new one! He gave us a good price! And Sunset is coming back tomorrow June 29th (2023) to install a new furnace. He also went outside and cleaned our air conditioner! I was told by someone else that we don't need to clean our air conditioner, really? Anyways Thomas is your man!

Unfortunately it was the end of our HVACs life. Our HVAC was less common, a large duel unit that left limited options for a replacement. Pretty quickly we discovered replacing this particular unit would be a special case. Our experience with other companies consisted of chasing down bids where we were told to expect a quote within day or two followed by having to check back sometimes a week later and often times crickets. However, our experience working with a Sunset technician for replacing the unit was top notch.
We were given a quote very quickly along with all the details needed to make an informed decision to move forward with confidence. Dynamite service! Experience with installation crew was also wonderful. Excellent team and services! I could not recommend enough.

I needed to upgrade an outlet from a 15 amp to a 20 amp to be able to plug in my new spa. Aaron arrived promptly assessed the situation and gave me two choices as to how to proceed with the job. He was wonderful at educating me as to what the choices were, I had another company also giving me a bid for the same job and they came up twice as expensive as Sunset so I highly recommend Sunset heating and cooling. as well as Aaron Bishop he is top notch. It started with a phone call to Robert who really started my comfort level with Sunset. I had already paid for an estimate; but I didn't feel comfortable with that experience. After 17 years our furnace and AC needed to be updated. I really appreciated the professional service provided by a friendly staff that communicated exceptionally. From our initial visit with Matt and his recommendations for various replacement/repair options, to the hard working and dedicated team of John and Kaimana doing installation (and Robert and Rich who supervised) and Ethan who cleaned our vents, the entire process was exceptional. Overall, a great experience for a very expensive investment. Keep up the good work.

John and Kaimana did an awesome job installing my new air conditioning and explaining the process to me. They were professional, knowledgeable, punctual and helpful. It was a long day with some extra services they needed to install with my particular existing furnace but they worked hard until the end, making sure it was all in great working order.
