Race City Heating & Air Conditioning are AWESOME! Our unit went out yesterday. We called them and they tried to get us same day and set us up for an appointment for the next day just in case. Blaine came out this morning checked the unit and fixed it for us. I know that anytime I call them they are nice and work to get us back up and running. We will be using them when we change our our AC unit for a new one.

Great customer service; from answering the phone to support on problems. Arrived on time. Quick diagnosis and parts available on the truck. Technician gave an excellent explanation to my wife while I was not at home.

AC went out! Both units, upstairs and down. I did not know who to call because we are relatively new to the area. I talked to a friend of mine that used to work on AC units and he told me to try Race City Heating and Air. I called them Monday morning and they said that they could fit me in on Tuesday afternoon. Well the Blaine (Technician) called me around 1 PM and said that he was 15 minutes out. Showed up at the door with his tools and right to the upstairs he went.

First he looked at the Air handler and said that it had a blown fuse, replaced it, then came back down stairs and checked the thermostat, it was working again. He had to go in and make a few settings changes and bam it was working. Went outside to check the AC unit and said it was a mess inside the unit itself. I had someone come by last year when the Capacitor went out and he put a booster on a bad capacitor, knowing it would fail and it did, caught fire.

So I replaced the capacitor last year but did not clean up the smoke from the unit. He then checked the AC unit for the downstairs and after a few minutes had a solution to its problems. Then the dreaded charge came. Guess what, it was a lot less than I was expecting. pennies on the dollar compared to what I thought he was going to charge me. Super professional guy and a great place to go for AC issues. I will be calling them back each season to have them look everything over and make sure it is in tip top shape. Thanks Blaine!

Race City did an incredible job replacing my HVAC system for a reasonable price. They were very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and punctual. It was a more difficult install because of the location but they got it done in 5 hours. And they were also very neat. All is working well at this point. The air and heat seem more even and all feels good. Thanks for a great job. I would highly recommend Race City for all HVAC repairs and replacement. You won't regret it.

Incredibly Honest, Punctual and Helpful. Technician fixes the problem without unnecessary add on charges and explains how you can help your unit in the future. It is refreshing to feel like someone has your best interest at heart without trying to run up a bill. They will always have my business!

I had an AC problem with 80 degree temps on my 2nd floor. Race City Heating & AC checked in with me before their scheduled service time, evaluated and explained the problem, and fixed the problem. The appointment only lasted about 30-45 minutes and the service man was very polite and informative.

We are relatively new to the area, so we did not have a contractor at the time that our air conditioner went down. Fortunately, we called Race City to see if they could help as the temperatures were in the high 90's. The customer service person went above and beyond by sending one of their technicians, Blaine, over to our house within a couple of hours.

We so appreciate their willingness to go above and beyond what they needed to do. We will definitely use them for future issues and new systems. This place is fantastic! My central air stopped working today so I called Race City Heating & Air Conditioning and they had a technician at my house in less than 30 minutes. The technician, Blaine, was so friendly and knowledgeable. He not only resolved the issue but also taught me about the system so I can prevent future problems. The service was also very affordable.

On top of that, the representative who answered my call was quite possibly the nicest woman I've ever spoken to. She made me feel so much better during a stressful time. This was an extremely pleasant experience. I highly recommend!

I cancelled with them and called Race City. The technician came out as scheduled and fixed our issue very quickly and efficiently. It was even done under the price quoted! Justin was awesome to work with. I had my second floor system replaced and he was able to address all my concerns. My unit was installed in May 2018 and had great cooling and heat from the new unit. It replaced my 17 year old unit and actually noticed a reduction in my electric bill. Installation team was the cleanest I've dealt with. When I'm ready to replace my other unit I will be calling Justin again.

I researched prices and units and found Race City to be reasonable. You get what you pay for but the team installing it makes the difference. Great job guys. I made my review after I had experience with the new unit.

RACE CITY Heating & Air Need a reliable company that is looking out for your best interest and not just $$ in their pocket, then you must contact RACE CITY. I sent an email message on a Tuesday, explaining the issue and Justin was onsite on Friday to look at the issue and advise. Instead of an entire system swap out, he gave a few recommendations and then he was back onsite the next Tuesday to take care of the issue.

Lady answering phone was very helpful and after calling 3 places and getting responses such as we aren't taking new customers to we can be out Tuesday Race City said we will work you in. This was today, Saturday, Memorial day weekend. Justin came out in a timely manner, repaired unit in a timely matter, and was polite. Highly recommended!

Thank you Race City Heating and Air Conditioning for the wonderful service. When our air conditioning went out it took one phone call to put my mind at ease. Our technician (Blaine) showed up on time and within ten minutes had identified the problem. He explained what it would take to fix our air conditioning and then went right to work. Within an hour we had cool air. We trust this company and have not been disappointed.

They're great. We've had Blane (Blayne?), twice now. We're first time home owners and they're fast, polite, happy to explain our questions, and are always reasonable with pricing. It's why we now use them to keep our 20 year old HVAC system going as we save for a new one.

Race city heating and air really came through for me! I called this morning at 11:30 am, and had a tech at my house at 3:00pm. Blaine was very courteous, very professional and diagnosed the problem with our furnace quickly and repaired it right then. The price was fair, service was excellent. I will definitely call again if something else happens!

Awesome company! Air went out last night and they squeezed us in as soon as they could today. Knew exactly what was wrong with the unit within 10 minutes, had the part with him and had it fixed super fast! Definitely recommend!

Would recommend Race City Hear & Air over any other company in the area! My AC was hit by lightening in the middle of the July and Justin and his crew worked diligently to replace my whole system. Always more than happy to answer any questions I have with the system. {{{Have a hard time accepting the review that was left regarding a piece that they found cheaper elsewhere. You can't expect a company to NOT have overhead expenses and labor charges. Unfathomable to me that someone would expect less.}}}

They are the best, the reason i continued after my first visit from them was because, they have great customer service and they show up on time. Also Carrie who answers there phones get ten stars! You would think that she owned this company. She has such enthusiasm in her voice each time I have called there. Anyone who wants to call there and talk with her will be more than impressed. They have always been prompt and have answered the phone when I call (even on the weekend). While servicing my equipment they have always made recommendations, while never pressuring me (my units were installed in 2003). Recently as I was selling my house they were able to replace the entire units for a reasonably price which helped me sell the house. Overall I would rate them very high and will be using them to service my house (hopefully should be good for awhile :)) Very honest people. Can't go wrong.

They came out when I called, very prompt service, what they quoted was what it cost me, no crazy up charges or hidden fees, they are also very professional and courteous.

It was very good from start to finish. I didn't have any trouble reaching them to schedule someone to come out to do the work. They were able to send someone within one day. They sent someone out that seemed to know what he was doing. He found the problem and corrected it right away. He cleaned up after himself. They were very reasonable. I expected the price to be higher.

The next day I called back because I thought there was another problem. They came right back out, looked at everything and everything was fine. It was a really good experience. I was very pleased.

Race City Heating & Air Conditioning is the BEST! I have used them in the past for repairs on my home heat unit and Justin was always on time and fixed it. I bought a foreclosure and of course they took the heat unit with them. I had several bids and Race City won! The quote was detailed and very professional. Some of the other ones that I got, were well it will be about this.been down that road.

They said they would be out on Thursday to install the new unit and were right on time, very professional and did an awesome job. I would not think of using anyone other than Race City Heating.

We have lived in our home well over 15 years with the same "ancient" heating/ac unit. We've had some issues over the years with the unit coming on and off due to electrical/thermostat problems. All others before have attempted to sell us a new, big, and expensive replacement unit because of the "obsoleteness" of the electrical equipment. Being of automotive background, I've always known that the furnace itself appears to be what we call "an iron duke" and the controls are actually the obsolete problem. Justin and his crew are the only ones who have stepped up and done what I've always known was possible: a difficult and complicated re-wiring job to modern day thermostat controls that not everyone in the industry is capable of doing. Or wants to! It's been almost six months and everything is working great at a fraction of what a new unit would have cost. Need I say more? Joe and Terri Carbon

Race City Heat & Air replaced our A/C unit about 2 years ago. Justin was awesome and knowledgeable and when we woke up this past monday morning to NO HEAT downstairs.well, I KNEW WHO I WAS CALLING. Justin came out yesterday to look at my heat system. He did some trouble shooting and fixed my wiring problem. While he was looking over my system, he was answering all the questions that i asked him.

Our 20 year old system came with the house and I knew we were coming up on a replacement, so i was picking his brain trying to get an idea about what it was going to take to have ours replaced. He is VERY knowledgeable, and he is NOT pushy when it comes to selling.
