After surviving two NJ summers in our home with just window AC units, it was time for us to find a solution for central air in our two-story home. I am so happy that we found Jake and the team at Apex. Since day one, Jake and team have shown nothing less than true professionalism, recommending the right configuration for our home and getting the job done efficiently but without any disregard to detail. I can't say enough good things about Jake and his team. Our HVAC system was flooded and inoperable from Hurricane Ida. Jake came out the same day we contacted him, showed and explained to us the damage, gave us a very fair estimate, did not try and oversell and scheduled the install of the new unit. Unit was installed quickly and professionally. They left the area spotless.

He's extremely quick to respond, always on time and a great communicator. The system has been perfect. We had to have several items replaced or repaired from Ida and Jake and his team were by far the best contractors we worked with. APEX will be our HVAC company from now on!

On a very cold weekend, we had an awful smell of gas throughout our condo, and Jake, along with his employee (James) responded very quickly/promptly to our call, and they were able to diagnose and determine that we needed the gas valve replaced on our Trane HVAC unit. These guys are true professionals, hence all of their 5-star reviews, and they are thorough, honest, caring, compassionate, respectful and accomodating, without being absurd in price!

I just had Apex install a new heating and air-conditioning system in my house. They did everything you would want a contractor to do. They were competitively priced, offered a myriad of options, helped me choose the correct system and did a professional installation. I would 100% use them again. APEX installed a new A/C unit to replace my leaking first floor unit. They worked directly with my home buyer's warranty company to get the quote for replacement approved. Their technicians are very professional and thorough. The unit failed 3 weeks after installation and was causing the breaker in my service panel to trip. They came out and determined that the compressor was faulty and replaced it the same day, no questions asked.

Not only reliable and professional, but sincerely care! Apex responded to the Common Sense for Animals animal shelter immediately upon hearing the kennel AC unit was not functioning properly. They restored the unit to working condition to the relief of all the dogs currently being housed there! The dogs and I cannot thank Apex enough!!!! You guys are the best!!’

The Apex team installed a 3 zone mini split ac/ heat system in our 1874 farmhouse and we couldn't be happier. The guys were on time and the entire install turned our very clean and good looking. they showed up on time and answered a slew of questions from us before the install and were supper fast and responsive. The guys even altered their work day so they could do something quiet while my kids took their daily nap. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a nice looking new unit installed. Definitely take pride in their work and what they do.

We wanted to add central air to our house and had several other contractors gives us estimates which were either not detailed or they never returned our calls. Enter Apex Heating and Cooling. I received a word-of-mouth recommendation for Apex and contacted them. They scheduled a visit and advised us on the best course of action, specific to our house and our needs.

They suggested a superior technical solution that was reasonably priced and quickly gave us a detailed estimate for the work. During the planning phases leading up to the install they were very responsive and did everything in a timely manner. They showed up on time with everything ready to go. The workmanship and equipment is top notch. They kept me informed throughout the entire job and involved me in any decisions to the extent that made sense.

They made their own decisions to achieve the best possible install (ie. no corners were cut). They left the house tidy each day and when they left the only trace of them was this awesome central air system. Highly recommended!

I can't say enough good things about Apex Heating & Cooling. We were in a dire situation with our air conditioning not working (and on the hottest day of the summer) and Jake answered our call. He was able to fit us in with no problem and arrived exactly when he said he would. It turned out that the issue was no electricity getting to our air conditioning unit. Jake didn't charge us for the visit.

We had to call an electrician for that problem, but as soon as it was fixed, I called Jake back to check the air conditioner as it still was not working and he showed back up an hour later. Jake diagnosed the problem right away and offered us solutions. For us, getting a new unit made the most sense and Jake offered us options to meet our needs and budget.

He arrived the next morning with the new unit and installed it promptly. Jake is knowledgeable, courteous, professional and offers good quality service. Everything about Apex Heating & Cooling is top notch. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing heating and/or cooling repairs or solutions. Apex is A+++++++ in our book.

Our house didn't have central air and we got tired of window units. We reached out to a few contractors for install of a complete central AC system.they were pushy and quoted prices that Warren Buffet couldn't pay. Apex then came out. Jake and Justin were polite, professional and their estimate was very reasonable. They installed the system exactly when they said they would, their work is top quality and we are over the moon to now have central air conditioning. Two thumbs WAY up.

My air conditioner died on Wednesday, I called on Thursday morning and James and Jake were here Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately they had didn't have good news for me but I was presented with multiple options for repairing or replacing the unit. It's not an option for me right now, but I will be keeping their contact information for a possible replacement in the future. I highly recommend them

Integrity + Professionalism, these are the words that came to mind after Jake Mollo fixed our air conditioning problem. He walked us through the reason for reoccurring blown fuses. He priced his time fairly, and he will get our business when it is time to replace our 20+ year system. Don't hesitate to trust his services.

We can’t sing their praises enough. When we had no heat they were here and installed a Navien High Efficiency Boiler. Heat has been awesome and very economical. The heat wave came, no AC. Called them, they were here in a matter of a few hours. They diagnosed the problem as a bad thermostat, replaced it and serviced the AC. We can’t recommend them enough. That are knowledgeable and fair.

I called on a Saturday when I arrived home from work and realized my house was freezing! They came within 30 minutes, diagnosed the problem and had it fixed ASAP and with my crazy schedule as a night shift nurse. HIGHLY recommend them!

Jake showed up at my house when he said he would. Fixed the mistake the last repairman made and now my air is working better than ever. I won't call anyone else.
