If I were you, I would not use Oldsmar AC for any service needs. In April 2022, my wife and I contacted Oldsmar AC when the AC unit in our rental stopped working. A technician came out and installed a new unit. We specifically asked for a permit for the work so that we would be prepared if one was requested. The technician committed to provide us with the permit, but he did not. Shortly after the unit was installed, it shut off. After my tenant inspected the unit, he noticed that the flow switch was full of water and the unit was not draining properly. Oldsmar AC charged us $250 to clear the drain line, which didn't work. We even paid someone else to clear our neighbor's line in case it was blocking our drainage; the problem persists. After researching the problem, our unit and the unit below us have a common drain line. After researching and consulting, it looks like the drain simply needs to be trapped between the two units. Unfortunately, Eric at Oldsmar AC has refused to try this simple potential solution. Eric at Oldsmar has also failed to provide the permit paperwork which is unfortunate because an inspection would help determine the cause of my tenant having to constantly empty the flow switch for the brand new unit to work. Through numerous conversations and emails with Eric at Oldsmar, I have tried to resolve this, but they have not complied and now they do not even respond.

Today I asked for a maintenance call and they were prompt and courtieus. We were not charged for the issue as we have owned the system for less then a year. Apparently, they had come over to my home to "fix" my air conditioner. The service tech cleaned our drain pipe using our cleaning products without permission. He then told us a price. We gave him information for payment. We then received an invoice for the service and they charge more than double what was quoted and even charged sales tax for labor.
We contacted them to question the invoice but was ignored. Months later we receive a reminder for the invoice and still no response from the company. Be wary of them. Not very professional. We went with another company to do our repairs and servicing.

Called for Service and left message, Eric called me back immediately and said Alex would be at my house in 30 minutes. Was just about to call them back to cancel as I found it was something I had done when Alex pulls into my driveway. Told him that it was working and what I had done, he checked out a few things and everything was good. Very quick response great service.

Tech was showed up an hour past our quoted time (our appointment was 4pm-5pm, he didn't show up until after 6) with no text or call informing us he was running behind. We booked an appointment because our drip pan was overflowing into our garage. Tech informed us that unclogging the drain would be over $200 and that we also needed to replace our entire system because it was undersized. Keep in mind we have not had any problem with the ac keeping up and keeping our house cool. The only issue was the clogged drip pan line.

Alex was awesome. He was in my house most of the day, fixed my ac quicker than expected. I was shocked when the owners arrived at my home, gave me a gift bag with my invoice inside and just came by to check on me and see how it was going. That personal touch was noticed and appreciated. You guys installed a new air handler in my house and I've had nothing but problems. Had to hire another AC company to come and seal everything when your guys said nothing was wrong and my attic was cooler than my house! You also failed to install a drain for the air handler and now water collects in the pan you invoiced as replaced and never did and the system shuts off every few days until we climb into the attic and hand drain the pan. Shameless!

I called and made an appointment; Eric was friendly and honored the online special that is shown on their website. I received a text on the morning of my appointment, which confirmed not only the date and time but also gave the technician's name. Jeff was on time and performed maintenance on my two A/C units within the hour. We discussed the pros and cons of replacing the UV lights; I'm glad he did not try to do a hard up-sell to me.
My last service call was with a company who sent a salesman with the technician and he tried to pressure me into replacing my whole HVAC system; not calling them again. An hour after Jeff finished, I received an email receipt. You can really tell that honest communication with the customer is a high priority for this company. I will definitely be using them again in the future.

Called for possible clog in drainage system from overflowing pan. I explained I already vacuumed the outside drain to clear it and also pulled several gallons directly from the pan. He hooked up his vacuum and checked the pan **for about 10 minutes** which verified it was already cleared. I expected the $19 charge for the service call to start as they advertise.
I was **not** quoted any prices for any work he was going to do. They billed me $200. I called the office to discuss the price. They wanted to offer me free maintenance instead of bringing the price down. I would not want to be misled a second time by bringing them out here for that. Lesson learned.

We highly recommend Oldsmar Air Conditioning. Our AC was out on a Saturday morning and they were able to provide same day service. To find out our AC was completely dead. O.A.C was able to install a brand new unit/system within 3 days. Talk about service! We found Eric to be extremely professional, courteous and affordable. We will continue to do business with them as well as refer anyone whom may need them in future.

In April my air condition unit went out upstairs. Oldsmar AC came and replaced the unit without issue. However, a few months later my second AC went out. It was not until I utilized a different and more affordable company that we learned that Oldsmar AC DID NOT PERMIT THE WORK THEY COMPLETED. We have contacted several times and been given the run around.
I am now working with my bank because the company has refused to complete the work with the permit and inspection four months out now! If my second unit had not gone out and the other company who had the permit pulled and inspector out within 48 hours I would have never known that this was incomplete. Randa the front desk lady who "works" there seems very scattered and disorganized.
Many times she seems flighty on the phone. I was told they would be out last Friday for the inspection and nothing! I called the office and she had "left for the day" at 1pm! This is the most frustrating experience. The work is not complete without an inspection. My next move will be to contact the BBB. I would NOT recommend working with this organization. As a healthcare provider it is extremely exhausting during this time to have to track down this company to get them to do what is LEGAL and RIGHT!

Loved that he showed up same day. He charged me $225 just to blow out my pipes. Last time another company did this charged me $91.00. He over charged me over 200% of what it should of cost and to top it off he advertises, $19 for service call. No doubt because I am a women, he over charged me. Never again will I call him. Cheryl F

If zero stars was an option I would pick that. Our air conditioner broke on a Saturday morning. We called them to fix it. When they arrived they said "oh the $19 service fee doesn't apply on weekends, did they not tell you that the charge would be $99?" Of course they didn't but we were hot so we let them diagnose the problem. They changed the thermostat (even though we explained we wanted a Nest, they said we don't have those if you want it fixed we have to install the one we have. (They charged us $300 for a model you can buy on the internet for $50).
They left and the house got hotter after several hours. I tried calling thief 24 hour emergency line (as advertised) as it was around 6pm. It went to a message that stated it was not an option. The only option was to leave a voice mail. I left a voice mail and wrote an email and a week latter no one has called me back. We called another company that came out in an hour on a weekend and fixed the real problem for half the price Oldsmar charged.

I just had a brand new Goodman unit installed and I cannot say enough good things about Oldsmar Air. They gave me a great deal on a new unit and were very informative and transparent through the entire process. The techs that came out were very respectful of my house and laid drop clothes from the front door all the way upstairs to where the unit was located. My house is cooler than its ever been I would recommend them to anyone looking for a new a/c system.

Oldsmar Christian School came out right away for the free estimate and was able to book for the service in the day after their Eric and his assistance technician were both very professional and courteous. They took before and after pictures and informed me of the step by step process while cleaning the ducts. They also gave me valid suggestions to make my unit more efficient. BEWARE THIS BUSINESS IS A SCAM! Do not trust this company. This business is run by an arrogant, rude, scamming, lying team, their names are Eric and Randa Pusateri and they're just in it for the money. We had a written contract for Eric to come out every couple of months and service our business, but as soon as he received the full payment we never saw him again.
We called and emailed yet he refused to answer, we showed up to the business to be CUSSED OUT by his "wife" who apparently works there yet she claimed to have locked herself in the office and refused to give us our refund. We have video and photo evidence of her screaming at us while we tried to be civil, she was screaming such vulgar things at us we feared for our safety and had to call the police for backup.
Before Randa deletes this or writes back that we're harassing her and her "husband" we're not we just want our money back like everyone else who's been scammed by this joke of a company just check their yelp reviews you'll see how many people have truly been scammed.

I'm not usually one to review, but felt I needed to as the overall rating for this company seems incorrect. I highly recommend Oldsmar AC if you live in the upper Pinellas area! My AC was working but not getting the house to the set temp - set at 75 and was actually 79. I called on a Friday evening at 6:50 PM and by 8:10 my AC was fixed. The $19 service call price is for real and the charge to clear my drain line was fair ($189) considering I was told by another company it'd be $230 for the first 1/2 hour! I will definitely use this company moving forward.

Update: I called a different air conditioning company today because my air stopped working again since oldsmar heating and air came out. (3 weeks ago) They were out within 2 hours of my call and found the issues and had it fixed in an hour 1/2 all under $300. They told me the cost of dye to inject in The system is $70. Oldsmar heating and air charged $275 and couldn't find the leak! The company I used today found it without using any dye! Still no follow up from the owner Eric to make things right.

I have lived in Eastlake Woodlands for 2 years. I bought my Condo in March 2017. I have used the same HVAC company for 2 years now which is an outstanding company. Jennie the owner is professional, trustworthy and very friendly! I have notice this company Oldsmar Air Conditioning putting there stickers as advertising without any approval from our HOA. This is disturbing and not appropriate for a company to do to gain business. I would not recommend using a Shady company like this one.

These guys showed up then left, saying they would come back the next day. Never showed up again, never called, overcharged us for our unit by 2000$. Let's run down the list of reasons why you should choose someone OTHER than Oldsmar Air Conditioning. They had the temerity to tell us they actually came to our house and waited 30 minutes before leaving. Ironic, since we have a Ring doorbell and everyone who actually wants to notify us that they are here would actually, you know, RING THE DOORBELL.
No Ring notifications on my phone. None on my wife's either. Further, this is the same group that didn't show up consistently when saying "We'll be there b/w 10-2" every day this week. After many unanswered phone calls from both me and my wife, my wife tried to meet them the office, since we actually have a contract and expect service for the money we pay them.
No response, but the neighbor companies had some very negative things to say about them that I won't repeat. They also said Randa was in fact there when my wife came, that her car was there, and that she was simply refusing to answer the door (which was apparently common). After calling in another company to fix the issue (Nice job Momentum AC!), they told us that Oldsmar Air Conditioning had overcharged us for the unit we bought from them by ~2,000$.
We were also oversold on the unit by their technicians, inthat it would save us at least 50$ a month in electric bills, which has never materialized. Even before this big problem, Oldsmar Air Conditioning has had a long history with us of barely pass-able service. Leaks in the unit causing problems. Poor quality in the installation requiring multiple call-backs.
Terrible welds. Technicians who caused more problems then they actually solved. In their response to my wife's well-earned 1-star review, they said she was threatening them. In fact, the only threat she made was to report them to every consumer division, blog, and social media site for their bad behavior, including the BBB if they continued to not show up. That is not an empty threat as we are doing just that.

We had to have Oldsmar Air Conditioning company come out a couple of times before we came to the decision that we needed to buy a new one. We talked with Eric and his team and decided that we would go with a York unit. Each and every time we have called the office, they have been so pleasant to deal with, everyone from answering the phone, to the installation of our new unit. Where to start with the WORST AC company in the Tampa Bay area! We called them with a problem to our AC that was already diagnosed and under waranty but due to the holidays we needed a company that was not busy. They proceeded to tell us that they believe the problem is in a different section of the unit. Not being a service tech myself we have no choice but to believe them.
First $1000 thrown away on this repair. 1 month later and the original problem was not fixed. They tell us it's a copper pipe issue in my walls and need to install a $2500 exterior pipe (eye sore). 3 days later, you guessed it, still not fixed. The problem, exactly what we told them 2 months prior, which was under warranty. LIARS AND THIEVES!

FROM A PALM HARBOR FL RESIDENT: First called them to repair the drip pan. He emptied all the water out, since it was coming in the house. Then the serviceman indicated that his manager would have to give me a quote for the replacement and labor. Eric cane the next day. He quoted me the cost to repair/replace of $590. Asked Eric to give me an written estimate.
He said he would send it to my email. Never got, so called and receptionist "said" he sent it. After calling a couple more times, Receptionist finally indicates that it would $1075! Do not call these Hackers! They have no idea what they are doing. They lied to us about getting a Trane or Carrier unit and sold is a piece of garbage Goodman where they made more money on a cheaper unit. They have been out 3 times in three weeks to repair their work and now we find out they installed the unit to duct work that wasn't up to code.
The owner told me personally we shouldn't have installed it without telling you about the duct work issue and now they want $2000 to fix the issue. Are You Kidding me. Now they won't give us a refund. Total scammers! We'll see you in court. Stay away from them! Horrible!

Charged me $500 to fix my ac to only completely stop working 6 days later. I called to have him come back. Of course it was no rush to him. By the time he showed up I already had someone else fix the problem. Thanks for the waste of money and time spent with no air in this Florida heat. Do not use this guy.

I have been dealing with ac companies all my life having 6 units in both my shops. But oldsmar Ac and heating are complete thieves and is the reason nobody can trust repair people.
I was basically robbed and have filed a complaint with BBB and getting a lawyer involved. DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY "home of the 19$ service call " what a joke. I will spare the details cause it's such a long story as to how I was charged 665 in labor and had my infinity carrier thermostat taken from my home without permission (699$value ) replaced with a 19.95 Honeywell. Then given a run a round for 3 weeks. I'll see you in court

There are few times I sit down to write a review directly after a meal or service-- but today's one of those days. We just got back from the beach for the weekend, and we walked into a wall of heat when we opened the door. Uh oh. I thought all of those damned HVAC commercials on constant loop on the radio finally hexed our system, and we'd be spending several grand on our 10 year old system.
Enter Oldsmar Air Conditioning. My wife did a quick little search, and found a 24-hour, no-extra-fee-for-emergencies $19 house call. I'm already good and pasty at this point, so I was quick to call in back up, usually having to follow man code and try to fix it myself. No lie (I timed them): I called at 9:23. Eric called back at 9:27. We chatted about my problem for two minutes, and he was on his way.
If you count the call, the time it took him to get here, diagnose the problem, as well as replace the faulty part, and prepare my invoice-- all in, it took him 41 MINUTES TO FIX OUR ISSUE. I can't even get a freakin' burrito at T Flats on Thursday that quickly when I'm standing 20 feet away from their kitchen. We also signed up for their maintenance plan as well, which seems well worth it.
Enter Oldsmar Air Conditioning. My wife did a quick little search, and found a 24-hour, no-extra-fee-for-emergencies $19 house call. I'm already good and pasty at this point, so I was quick to call in back up, usually having to follow man code and try to fix it myself. No lie (I timed them): I called at 9:23. Eric called back at 9:27. We chatted about my problem for two minutes, and he was on his way.
If you count the call, the time it took him to get here, diagnose the problem, as well as replace the faulty part, and prepare my invoice-- all in, it took him 41 MINUTES TO FIX OUR ISSUE. I can't even get a freakin' burrito at T Flats on Thursday that quickly when I'm standing 20 feet away from their kitchen. I am so fortunate to have stumbled upon Oldsmar Air Conditioning via a neighborhood app. Not only is a service call only $19, regardless of the time of day, but they came out on a Sunday night within minutes of receiving our phone call. If it hadn't been for their quick response and equally fast diagnosis of our problem, we would have been on our way to a hotel for the night to avoid our 91 degree house.
The charge for the part we needed and installation was very reasonable as well. They have earned our trust and now our annual maintenance business. Thank you, Oldsmar Air Conditioning!

Called Oldsmar AC yesterday early evening and Eric returned my call. I explained my problem (AC unit wouldn't hold temperature during heat of the day). Eric scheduled an appointment for today and Sam called and showed up promptly for the appointment. Sam checked the discharge temperature of the air at the vents throughout the house and checked the blower unit inside the house. Outside, he checked the freon level in the compressor and found it to be low. He brought it up to full pressure and everything is back to normal.

I highly recommend Oldsmar Air Conditioning for all of your HVAC needs. My husband just called them for an AC repair, after the company who installed our newer unit would not even call us back. OAC responded quickly, and even sent over a service man within an hour!! Eric, our technician, was very experienced and professional and even answered all of my many questions without making me feel like an idiot.
The charges were fair and we now have cold air!! This family run company obviously takes pride in their work and it shows. We will be calling them for our annual maintenance and frankly, wouldnt consider calling anyone else. Thank you OAC.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the service provided. They were punctual and professional and gave me a quality product. Came the next day. Went above and beyond my expectations. My only 4 year old AC/Heat Pump unit blower motor failed on Saturday noon. I called Eric and he came to my rescue within 2 hours! Even though he didn't have the exact replacement on his truck, he cobbled in a good temporary replacement so we could have AC for the rest of the weekend. Then he got a new motor UNDER WARRANTY! , came back and finished the job. Recognizing an honest Heating & AC in Eric, I also asked him to tune up my system.
Unlike other techs I've seen, Eric had top shelf tools and equipment, and knew how to use them. That may sound trite, but believe me, this man is the real deal! Honest, not pushy, respectful and detail oriented. Heck, he even gave my unit a wax job! All of this at a respectable price. I asked him to put my on an annual plan!

Called Friday AC not working New AC 5 ton put in Saturday morning. Cleaned up whole area left no garbage behind. Company I have had for 15 yrs would not come that quick. Would take 3-4 days to come out and then another 3-4 days to fix when needing parts. Love small family owned business give the best services. they will be doing all my AC work for now on.

My AC/Heat Pump finally gave up and had to do a full replacement on my old out dated system. Took a shot with Oldsmar Air Conditioning and couldn't be happier. Customer Service is top notch. Installation was professional and area was clean afterward. No pressure sales tactics. Even provided me a portable unit for my bedroom until the system was installed (unexpected and so appreciated). If I know someone who needs A/C work done, I will always recommend them to this company. Amazing!
