I had Gad AIR install an AC system on the second floor of my home. Gerard, the owner, made an appointment with me, was on time, assessed the situation and before our meeting was over gave me a ballpark estimate to complete the project. At that point I called the office and spoke with Antonette. Awesome conversation, very polite and extremely helpful.

I told her I had a wedding coming up at the house and if it were possible I would like to have the project completed before then. Her response was, Absolutely! At that point we scheduled an appointment, they ordered the equipment and installed on the exact day and time they said they would be there. They were in and out in a couple of days as planned and during the project the working area was always covered and swept clean.

Any questions either to the guys or to the office were always answered immediately. I am a building contractor. As part of my job it is my responsibility to make sure that any subcontractor I hire or send to someones home does the right thing. The customer service at GAD Air is nothing short of a dream. They came out to check on our situation, assessed everything, explained everything in full, and because we had no heat and they were short-staffed at the moment for the size of the job, immediately got us names of other reputable companies near us that could do quality work for us. We were new to the area & are very happy to say we picked GAD Air to come out & repair our broken AC Unit. They showed up when they were supposed to & had the problem diagnosed with in the first 10 minuets they were there. Oil furnace (heat + hot water) died in February. GAD Air had the new one installed within a couple days. Plus, he redid the hot water mixing giving us fast, constant hot water for the first time since 1998, despite numerous service calls to at least 5 other HVAC service companies.

Our AC stopped working during the heat wave (96 degrees). We called Gerard and he came the next day to take care of the problem. Knowledgeable & professional " Our AC/heating system in our restaurant finally gave out. We truly had an emergency on our hands. We called GAD Air, and Gerard came out to us immediately. We required emergency oil burner replacement. It was Friday Dec 13 and it was cold out. GAD AIR adjusted their schedule to inspect our needs immediately. The price was comparable, However, as i would appreciate later, the value was OUTSTANDING! We chose GAD because Gerard educated us to the whys and the hows of what caused the problems and what he would do to make it right.

He was always improving on the install. As a contractor this was invaluable for me and my client. GAD got started right away and didn’t stop until the heat was on. GAD is my service company!

The whole team at GAD was more than accommodating, flexible, and worked with us from beginning to end on replacing our failed central AC (hodge podge/busted outdoor unit/completely off kilter system) and converting it to a new central AC unit with heat pump and backup heat strip. Courteous, responsive, honest, and great folks to be around. GAD is a top-notch Heating & Cooling Company; I can’t say enough positive things about them! They impressed me every step of the way! I called GAD with a very complex, retro-fit job hoping they would even consider correcting the horrible job that had been previously done. They called me back within 24 hours and scheduled an appointment, and was on time. Gerard spent a lot of time evaluating the situation and fully explained the options and gave me his professional advice.

He gave me options and promised a quote for both scenarios within 2-3 days. The installation of the new equipment and retro-fit job was done on schedule and is a masterpiece. The system runs beautifully and is well balanced in all of the rooms. His office staff, Antoinette was super helpful and informed me of what was happening every step of the way. Antoinette was super helpful in setting up my appointments and a pleasure to deal with. Gerard came out to give us an estimate on a new AC unit bc it wasn’t fully working. After he assessed the unit he said wait did anyone even try to fix it. Long story short, I didn’t need a new unit just needed a quick fix that Gerard was able to do. GAD Air is a great HVAC company. Antoinette was a pleasure to speak with when setting up an appointment and Gerard was so helpful when he came for the service call. Central air and heat died a few years ago and i searched hi and low for a good company to repair or replace system and could not find anyone that was upfront with what needed to be done. After hauling window A/C in and out for countless summers I decided to start my search again to handle my system. Came across G.A.D Air. Spoke with Antoinette explained to her my problem and she made an appointment to have Gerard come out and take a look at my system.

From the time Gerard came through my front door we immediately hit it off he was very down to earth and explained what i needed. I did some research prior to him coming out and i asked a few questions on more expensive systems and he was honest with me and explained to the tee on each system....... now he could have easily just said yes you do need the hi-tech ( meet the Jetsons) system but he did not and that right there had me sold on his company. Antoinette was very good with scheduling being that i had a lot going on schedule wise at the time. Gerard came out with his crew Eric and helper ryan on time and they worked hard and had my system up and running in 2 days.

They were neat and very efficient. On 3rd day i was heading out of town but realized had a problem with one of my vents not blowing air properly I called Gerard and he told me when i get back to call him i called him when i returned and within a few hours Eric came out and found the problem which was no error of theirs but he fixed the problem and all was good. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company and it was a pleasure knowing there are still some honest people out here that stand by their word and their work.

Prior to hiring G.A.D. Air to replace our failing AC system we secured estimates from three companies and carefully evaluated each one. Before selecting G.A.D.Air, we also checked references by speaking personally with people who had had work done by G.A.D. Air. All references were very positive. We ultimately chose G.A.D. Air and were very pleased with the expert and personal service provided.

GAD-Air (Gerard) has been serving my Heating/A.C. system for a number of years now. I trust him as if he’s family. A year ago I had to replace my heating system. The price was right, the work was done quickly and my electric bill was reduced by half. A couple of times I couldn’t be home. He let himself in, completed the work. When I got home the heat was on and there was no sign that he was there and completed the necessary work.

My AC unit was leaking through the garage ceiling, so I picked, at random, a company from yellow pages. What luck I had! GAD was excellent. Antoinette had no idea who I was and made sure I got same day service. Great customer service. Thank you to Eric for fixing it and having the patience to explain what he was doing during the repair! My AC was up and running in no time-leak free! My new "go to" for AC repair is GAD!

As a new home owner with a home that had decades under its belt already with no central system, Gerard and the folks at GAD Air put me at ease that I'd be able to retrofit the house. In no time flat, they'd measured it out and figured out a great system that would cool all parts of my new home! It was such a pleasure to work with GAD on this project, they really made it easy to keep moving the project forward and did great work while respecting my home. Initially we used a company that our entire family has used for over "30 years" to have a brand new A/C installed. Unfortunately, the job was sloppy, the terms of the contract were not met, we were blatantly lied to and the whole situation was mishandled. Enter GAD. Gerard and his staff were honest, professional and exceptional at every level, diagnosing issues that were undetected or ignored by the prior company.

Gerard methodically checked all areas of concern and was meticulous in his repairs.

He even found things that, if left unresolved may have resulted in flooding, fire or personal injury to our family. The team was always on time, quickly returned phone calls (even after regular business hours) and were fair with their pricing. It’s nice to know there are some companies out there still dedicated to quality work instead of rushing the job. Our experience with GAD was excellent from start to finish. My experience with GAD confirms the wonderful reviews that have been posted. They demonstrated remarkable concern and integrity. My air conditioner had been diagnosed as needing replacement by another company but when Gerard arrived he was able to replace just one part to get it going again, resulting in a substantial savings for me.

This company was able to figure out the problem I was having with my cooling system. I had 2 other companies before them that could not find the problem. But GAD-AIR DID This is the only company I will call from now on!

We had a major leak coming from our ceiling this past winter. I found this company on the web. I noticed they had excellent reviews. I was hesitant to call them first because I thought that they charged a lot of money for their services. I was wrong. Their price was very reasonable. They rendered professional service and advice. All of the staff starting from their office manager, Antoinette and also their service manager, Gerard, were all very pleasant to deal with.

It's too bad that I had to use their services only one time because we are relocating to another state, otherwise I will keep them for my home maintenance. I highly recommend this company and would not have any second thoughts of giving them 5 stars.

I cannot say enough great things about Westchester Heating & Cooling/GAD! One of our A/C units was not working and it was going to be a hot weekend the last weekend in April 2017. I called Gerard and he and his guys were here the week of and the A/C unit was replaced and up and working for the hot weekend! What a great group of guys he has working for him.

I have never seen guys who work straight through the day to get the job done like they did. They were so polite, Professional and did a great job! What a professional and great company. I moved into a new home and after 5 months I had some HVAC issues. Gerard and crew from GAD came to see what the problem was. They were beyond respectful of my home. After seeing how thorough, detailed, and on the ball they were in diagnosing the problem I chose to hire GAD for the job. It was very easy to see that they were highly skilled and experienced.

A few days later GAD installed a brand new furnace and brand new A/C condenser into my home. They removed the old units from my home. And absolutely no sign of them even being in my home. I will continue to use this company for service. Great company!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Gerard and Antoinette are absolutely the best. I've had several heating emergencies and they were always there within hours no matter what. Any problem I've had that's been difficult to figure out, they have figured it out -- and the solution was always innovative and most economical. Today, we were gutting our bathroom to make room for a new toilet and sink w/vanity. While taking apart the sink, we noticed that the hot water pipe would not stop dripping, even though the water was turned off at the valve. After trying everything under the sun to keep the water from bubbling up through the pipe, we called GAD-Air. We have worked with GAD-Air in the past for other home issues, and figured we would call and get some help for our problem.

We were able to speak with Gerard (the owner) and we discussed the water problem. Gerard was able to walk us through the situation, having us turn off the main hot water valve in the basement and keeping us calm, in spite of our frantic call. GAD-Air never fails us and between Gerard and his crew, there is never a problem, whether it be with water, heating, cooling, you name it, GAD-Air can fix it. They are truly miracle workers!
