I had a great experience with Elmar. I had a new condenser and coils installed, and I added a ductless unit to a hard to cool area of the house. They were knowledgeable and quick to provide a quote. They weren't pushy when it came to sales, and I could tell they took pride in their work. I haven't had to use it much yet, but I couldn't be more satisfied at this point. If I remember, I'll post an update once the summer weather hits.

Let me tell you, these guys are the BEST! Last year, we had a Ductless AC system installed in our 80 year old home. The price was fair and the service was incredible. Entire system installed in less than 2 days and works so great! Even though our new system also has the ability to heat our home, we still use our hydronic heating system and ran into an issue with our boiler.

We called the usual folks that worked on it and they wanted us to spend over 10k dollars on a new boiler. I thought they were trying to sell us more than what we needed so I called the Elmer guys to see what they think. They quickly solved the problem and it only cost us $150! Much less than 10k! They also fixed another issue where a pesky critter shorted out a wire and were able to fix our thermostat control system without breaking the bank. So if you are looking for a ductless system or need any AC/Boiler work done, give these folks a call!

I wanted a ductless heating and AC unit in a lower level home office. The fact that they had a showroom near my office specifically dedicated to ductless heating an AC made them a perfect place to start my decision making process. They were able to answer all my questions during that first visit. I asked when they could install and to my surprise they said how about tomorrow?

Everything was in-stock, a technician was out to my house the same day and everything was in-stalled the next day. In this age of supply chain issues and waiting weeks and even months to get what you want. Elmar Heating and Cooling over-delivered. My wife is now warm in her home office and my life is GOOD!

Fist floor Furnace wasn't working. I called on Sunday morning and excellent repair technician came, Dennis Morgan, came and evaluated in timely fashion. The blower motor wasn't working and needed a part that he brought the next day. They had repair estimate, parts and labor all available before signing contract. They also had a optional service contract that I also requested with zero pressure (cheaper than yearly maintenance).

By 5pm the day after calling, the bottom furnace was fixed and maintenance done with thorough explanation and PDF. Both Elmar, the company, and the repair technician, Dennis Morgan, we're excellent, friendly, efficient. 24 hour service including weekends is very ideal. I highly recommend their services.

I can highly recommend Elmar as a professional company for HVAC knowledge and skill. We needed our heat pump replaced and I tend to do some of my own research so I can ask questions about the systems I'm looking into and they had someone reach out just to discuss in greater detail the system I was looking at. They utilize a great notification system of when you schedule service as well as a text when their team is in route to you.

Their teams are professional and polite and respectful. Pricing isn't too high for the service and they're very good about keeping up on issues that you may have come up. Our thermostat was acting strange and needed some tweaking so they came right out. Definitely check them out if you are looking at having a system replacement or even maintenance.

I have a high efficiency HVAC system. The Elmar representative was on time, knowledgeable, professional, and personable. He put on shoe covers at the door and left my home clean! I invited Elmar back to do another service, and I'll hire them for more work next year. I think their prices are quite reasonable. It's fair pricing for the excellent and quality work they provide. Highly recommend!

I am so pleased with the service and work done by Elmar! They came out to my home within an hour of calling and the service professional was able to get my heat working quickly. I was surprised that he was able to fix it without charging me for equipment but they did advise if it didn't work what the cost would be to fix it, so I could prepare. Most companies would try to get the higher price upfront so I REALLY appreciate them wanting to save me money and keep me informed.

Thanks to the team at Elmar for helping fix our tankless water heater quickly and professionally. We had a very bad experience with another service provider and Elmar stepped right in and came to analyze the issue the same day. When the part we needed was in they made an appointment and the tech shopped up promptly and completed the work in a very professional manner. I would highly recommend Elmar and am very glad I got connected to them and had such a great experience.

Mr. Dennis Morgan with Elmar Services demonstrated the highest qualities of professionalism. I was under the assumption based on a previous conversation with Elmar Services, a new hire would be accompling Mr. Morgan. Essentially, obtaining OJT skills. However, I may have been mistaken as Mr. Morgan arrived on site alone. I thought he would be overwhelmed with the amount of work needing to get done.

He handled it like a true professional! I have 8 inverters & 3 outside condensor units requiring service. Mr. Morgan performed all of the work flawlessly. I want to specifically mentioned how well he cleaned both the inside kitchen unit and the 3 outside units. The kitchen unit was covered with grease (of course we didn't know how much had built up since we had these units installed in 2017).

He meticulously cleaned the kitchen unit as well as the outside condensor units. His thoroughness and attention to detail was outstanding! The units outside looked brand new after the cleaning. I highly recommend Elmar Services for maintenance on your HVAC system. If you're fortunate enough to get Mr. Dennis Morgan, in my humble opinion, you'll receive award winning professional service.

Something I believe Elmar Services prides itself in providing. I didn't realized I was going to add such a lengthy review. Nor did I think about taking before pictures of the condensors outside to compare how dirty they were and he well Mr. Morgan clean them. Well, to give you a visual, I purchased these in the Fall of 2017 and this is the first professional maintenance I've had on them. Lastly, I want to thank Buddy who recommended the maintenance services. This was the first time I've heard of it. I believe it's a tremendous benefits at a great price for all that's included.

I had an old, old, old rooftop A/C. When it needed service, my service guy would warn me about how hard it was going to be to replace. Not for Elmar! Even when they ran into unexpected wiring issues that pushed the job to two days, they worked so hard to get it done for me and I can't thank them enough. I would hire them again and recommend to anyone. They also had no problem navigating Hampden, Baltimore (alleys, street parking, etc).

Elmar installed our new Tankless Water Heater and upgraded our furnace as well. They were very punctual, professional & efficient with all of their work!

If you have a ductless AC system, Elmar is the number that you need to keep in your speed-dial for maintenance and service. We had a system installed a few years back by another company. Rhymes with Shmarroll Shmome Shmervices. After their install, they had to come back and fix the mounting of wall units so that they'd drain properly. Apparently, water doesn't flow uphill.

Who knew? We had an issue with the outdoor unit that needed repair, and it took them months to figure it out. Well, because of the previous company's lack of competence, we needed the system serviced again. Enter Elmar Services. Their tech showed up with modern tools and gauges. Actually knew how to use a volt- and ohm-meter. Had experience with ductless units more than a passing howdy-do.

Actually took the time to check the inside unit coils for residue from previous fluorescent dye checks. Guess what - found a leaking coil that Shmarroll didn't even bother to shine a UV light on. They send you emails/texts to confirm appointments! Their people answer the phone during business hours! They order parts when they say they're gonna!

They even have a tech tracker that shows you exactly where the person coming to fix your stuff is once they've been dispatched! Bonus - the tech didn't stand around staring at the guts of my AC while chain smoking, littering my yard with cig butts, and desolately scratching his ass. He DIAGNOSED AND FIXED THE PROBLEM! I know, right?! They also do general maintenance and upkeep.

Unlike other companies hinted at above, they actually know how to clean and maintain ductless wall units. It's like they've seen them before! I honestly can't recommend Elmar enough. They should be the go-to for ductless HVAC in the Baltimore area. They're good. They're damn good.

I had an excellent experience with Elmar Services from start to finish. They installed a 4 zone mini split system in my Baltimore row house. From the owner of the company who provided an estimate and helped plan the layout, to the customer service line, to the technicians who installed the system over the course of three days, everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional.

The units look great. It's a cold time of year and they have been heating well, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they cool in the summer and possibly adding a fourth interior unit to the system to the three I just got.

Elmar Services did a great job installing a new Mitsubishi Ductless HVAC system on the second floor of my home. Christian and Andrew were a pleasure to work with, and did outstanding work, including cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. I will definitely be using Elmar again for future work.

I had Elmar come out and install a 3 zone Mitsubishi mini-split system in my 85 year old house, and I cannot say enough about how awesome they were. It took about 3 days to install (the duration they stated at quote) and the technicians were more then professional. The took excellent care not to unnecessarily damage my plaster walls, and were especially careful when drilling through the outside walls. I would certainly recommend using them, and will probably get them to install a tankless water heater when my electric one finally goes up.

Excellent service repairing my broken ductless unit. Tech was knowledgeable and professional, and company was very flexible and proactive scheduling appointment.

Very good experience altogether. Smooth communication throughout the process, detailed updates, easy scheduling, professional service and fair pricing. A delight to work with!

We use Elmar to install a split AC system for the 2nd floor of our old house and they did an excellent job, even had a guy who did some carpentry work on the side and he built a wood bulkhead on our stone chimney to mount the inside unit on, which turned out great. They've been back to service it twice since then and have always been prompt and professional. We had a little disagreement about the terms of an Angie's List deal but quickly came to an understanding and it was fine in the end.

Elmar did a fantastic job. They were on time, polite, and professional. The unit works great.

Having our entire house cooled with Mitsubishi Electric ductless ac's was a dream project. Everything turned out better than expected -- and we expected a lot. The system works perfectly, cools perfectly, and was perfectly installed by a meticulously careful team. And the price was reasonable. We feel we got what we paid for, are unreservedly satisfied, and recommend this company without reservation.
