Their technician Steve, was thorough and took his time to inspect and test everything about the AC system. He also explained a number of items to me that was most helpful as we are new to the area and unfamiliar with the climate, humidity and life expectancy of our equipment for this geographic region. Last year I had a new unit put in. Apparently parts were hard to get. They supplied me with a temp unit for a few weeks. The unit from Bay Area was much more expensive than another unit (still pretty high end) I had installed in another house the year prior. To be fair it was an upgraded unit. I look at cost in overall terms. It really paid off this week.

The unit went down, they had folks here in about 4 hours. The repair people were very professional. The problem was identified, the unit temporary fixed, with the new part to be installed first thing Monday morning. A warning - the old unit was also a very good brand. BUT - parts always took a week or so. When you are dealing with Florida heat in the summer, the near immediately available parts is a huge plus. Bay Area has a lifetime customer.

What a professional company, highly responsive, honest and a very reasonable fee. The young tech that came out, Murphy was his name, was professional, knowledgeable and quick to determine the cause of our service call. He represented Bay Area Air Conditioning with an A+ attitude. When our old clunker of an ac unit does finally have its last day I will call Bay Area for that replacement and ask for Murphy!

Keith called ahead and arrived on time. He listened to exactly what we wanted. After a short but thorough check of the system he diagnosed the issue and offered us both repair and replacement options. He was polite and personable. Him being a veteran gave us an added sense of comfort. We came out of this with the most favorable feeling I could have spending that much money. Every company needs a Keith.

Our air unit stopped working at 5:30pm on Friday. Good Friday. Knowing that it was after hours and a weekend, I called Bay Area since they installed the new unit in 2018. I received a return call from the Bay Area Technician Andrew and he was available within an hour of my initial call. Andrew was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He repaired the unit within 30 minutes of arriving and was on his way. We have always been happy with Bay Area and will continue to use this company for service and repair.

Yes Robert was very polite & efficient in taking care all my concern issues. Robert expertly fixed my thermostat wiring issues and plenum sealing concerns. :-))) He also made sure my system was running like a fine tuned watch.;-))) Robert also took the time to expertly explain my air handlers controls as well as the safety drain cut off & what i need to clean the condensation line as well as what not to use. When our 10 year warranty expired last year we paid for Bay Area's Silver Service which covers No Diagnostic charge and scheduling priorities between 7am and 7pm. As it was 6:45pm we called to make an appointment for the next day. Tyler, Bay Area's serviceman called right back and said, "It's not 7pm yet, I'll be right over." We were just shocked!

Unfortunately he needed to get a specific part, which required us waiting till the next day. But he was there first thing and walked us through what the part was and what our issue had been. He was really knowledgeable and at the same time very personable, making our unfortunate repair much easier to handle. We have been using Bay Area for the last 5 years we have lived here ( former owners did also) and highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again Tyler!

Bay Area came to my house today to do a tune-up after a year in service. The tech guy, Vladimir, was here at the prescribed time and did his tune-up process. What more can I add? All I see are hundreds of 5 star reviews and nothing less. These guys have done my yearly service for over 10 years and have done so professionally and on schedule every time. I've had the "Florida Promise" before, we'll be there in the morning, and never show up. But that has never happened at Bay Area Air. I had a small problem at last visit but a call to them got a man back out next morning to replace a part at no charge. Only outstanding forward looking management does that. Company was awesome. The specialist was even better. Glen came out to do some maintenance work on my HVAC unit that had not been serviced in over a year. He gave me a run down on his diagnosis, went over the scope of work, and provided a fair estimate on the work to be done. He was very candid and detailed in the expected outcomes, and set a realistic picture for me on the end result.

Often times it is hard to pin point certain problems and some solutions take time to figure out, but Glen went above and beyond in making sure no time was wasted to provide the best value for the work. I am always very weary about things I lack knowledge on and having to depend on a contractor to fix, but having a guy like Glen come out and really help me understand the basics of what he was doing, and how an HVAC should be ran and maintained, really impressed me. I get the impression this company really cares about the people they hire. Give them a try.

I can't say enough about this Company. My AC had been out for 2.5 day and waiting on the landlords AC company to arrive. Well after 2 days of no sleep and tired of the exercise. So i took it upon myself and Called Bay Area within an hour they had their technician. When i told tbe landlord i had someone she couldn't believe it as she had called 3 others. We contacted Bay Area AC as a new customer and were very pleased that they came out within a few hours. The receptionist mentioned their yearly advantage plan and what it would mean for our cost and future service. The repairman was extremely polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. He worked very hard to diagnose our problem which was not simple and correct it to working order while we wait for further work to be done next week. I can only guess that Don wasn't happy about being on weekend call. Maybe he had a hangover, was in the middle of a football game or fighting with his wife. Whatever was go no on, he must have been having a terrible day. Cliff (who I now knows isn't just a Rotarian, but an important person at Bay Area) called and apologized saying it shouldn't have happened no matter the circumstances. Apology accepted.

Hey shame on me, didn't realize CreditKarma existed until recently. Come to find out I have a collection bill on file from Bay Area Air dating back to 2015. Just found out about it. However this was communicated to me that it was warranty work, once I received a call from them I paid the invoice. Very disappointed and glad I use another AC company.

Called for a quote as my 21 yr old a/c system was straining to cool the house anymore. Pete, the service tech, came out and checked out my system and found that the coils were DIRTY and he showed me too. He cleaned the coils with the hose while he was there and had access to the coils and the hose right next to him and BAMM, all fixed....... for now at least.

A bandaid to hold me over till I replace the whole system for sure as the old system is on borrowed time. He then gave me quotes on 3 levels of systems based on what I needed and that gave me 3 different options to pick from depending on what I wanted to spend and what level of system I wanted as far as gadgets really. He didn't try to sell me on anything, he just gave me quotes on 3 Carrier systems and made my house cool again just by using a garden hose.

So when I am ready to get my new system, which will be very soon, I will go with this company thanks to their honest and knowledgeable service tech Pete! Oh and they came out within 4 hours of calling to set up an appointment and was right on time. That helps too!

Our heating and AC went out yesterday. We called Bay Area AC this morning (a Saturday), thinking they wouldn't be able to come out until Monday. Much to our surprise, they sent a technician out this morning. The technician found the problem right away-it was bad wiring at the outside unit, which had caused another part in the attic unit to go bad.

He repaired both issues immediately. I thought the amount we were charged for parts and labor was fair and reasonable. We were really impressed with our technician's knowledge and ability to track down the problem(s), and get our heat/AC back up and running in no time at all. We will definitely be calling on Bay Area AC for our future HVAC needs.

Great fast service, Mike and Larry were here very quickly and on a late Friday afternoon. They assessed the problem and fixed it quickly. I called Bay Area after my AC company that I'd used for years and who had actually caused the problem (third time I'd called for service) said they couldn't come out and didn't have the part I needed anyway until next week. What a wonderful experience, if you can call having your air conditioning go out a wonderful experience. Had one company out and was not trusting their diagnosis as the unit is fairly new. I called Bay Area Air Conditioning and the young lady who answers the phone was so pleasant, had a technician out there within a couple of hours. The technician got the air conditioning running for the evening ordered a very simple part, he returned the next day and within 15 minutes everything was fixed. I called Bay Area A/C on Sunday evening to report that my air conditioner was not working. I told the representative that it was not an emergency and that it could wait until the next day. Old A/C quit. Called Bay and a Technician arrived in good time. Replaced capacitor. Up and running. Later temp started going up. Determined leak in reversing valve. Added refrigerant to hold through weekend. Monday installed temporary outdoor unit to hold until new unit can be installed about a week from now.
