I wish I could add more Stars.from the first communication this company was outstanding. They contacted me Immediately after asking for help through Yelp. The lady in the office I'm sorry I don't remember her name, was sweet had a great personality and confirmed my appt time and what I would pay for them to come check out my small issue.
She was Great but then Eric Wilson showed up and you know he's awesome because his business card said Comfort Advisor. He was Amazing! Showed up on Time.was mad respectful of my space and handled my issue quickly and efficiently and didn't charge me like an asshole. My issue really wasn't a big deal but I was nervous of potential Fire hazards so he completely put my mind at ease. Told me exactly what he was doing the entire time (Because I explained the last guy Did NOT) Seriously I will refer this company and in particular Eric, the Comfort Advisor. to Anyone that needs a good electrical company. I needed to install a Tesla wall connector, had 4 people come to inspect and give a quote. The response from this company was timely, they came right on our scheduled time, and gave such competitive rates. On the day of installation, they finished the work earlier than expected and left the entire area orderly! We are calling them again when we have the budget to install our central air! More power to Red Apple Air!

The service was phenomenal! I knew I was in good hands when they answered the phone asking "How can we make you smile today?" I had an emergency since my thermostat had been out and had no heat. Eric came out in the middle of a rain storm just before the Holidays and provided a fair estimate. The techs that completed the repair were professional and friendly. The repair was easier than what was estimated and they adjusted the final invoice to be less than the estimate. Excellent customer service!

Last night (12/6/21) we lost power to only some of our home, but including the fridge and our internet. My wife and I both work from home remotely and rely on the internet heavily everyday. Mary and Misty were super quick to reply to my late night request sent out here on Yelp and I got a call from Mary early AM this morning. She set up a service call today and sent out Fermin who quickly found the problem, a corroded wire in the service drop.
He replaced this and we are now back up and running. There are even some plugs that weren't working for a few months that now are back up, so this could've been even worse than it ended up last night. Bonus is, Red Apple also does HVAC service so they will be coming out to do that next, among other services they offer. You may not be able to tell, but yes, I will be hiring them again. They came out with quick, same day service that was fairly priced.

The first call is the best part of your interaction with Red Apple. They sent Eric out to review and provide a quote. He left my house and said they would get back to me with a formal quote. A week goes by and nothing. I called after a week and half or so to nudge them. I received no call back and it has been 3 weeks. If they're not interested in doing the work they should just say so or be transparent. But no communication is not a good way to build reputation. I'll move on with another vendor.

We had Red Apple come out and look at our AC, which was blowing hot air. Our technician, Martin, showed up on time and was extremely helpful and kind during the whole inspection and able to doagnose the problem quickly. He was able to come out and repair our AC as soon as possible and was a life saver. He was kind enough to check out our heating too. Very satisfied.

Red Apple provided excellent service as always. Martin arrived early and looked into a concern I had relating to my AC. After he inspected the AC he explained that the "problem" in no way impacts the functioning of the unit. I could spend a few hundred dollars with no benefit. I greatly appreciate him explaining the options honestly.

I called Red Apple air for some electrical work based on some recommendations on the Neighborhood Next Door app. This is a wonderful business. Everyone my wife and I spoke to were friendly and professional. They came out quickly and gave us an estimate and then completed the work way ahead of time due to another job's delay. The work was professionally done.
I was at work the entire time of the job but the workers patiently walked my wife through everything they were doing and did a wonderful job of explaining things. I would absolutely recommend Red Apple Air and would use them for all future needs. Dennis

First time using Red Apple Air and it's been a great experience. Eric came out to look at HVAC unit to determine what could be done to cool off my 3rd floor loft. He also provided neighbor with options to redirect more air to bedroom when needed. Eric provided us both with quotes while he was here and we were able to get work scheduled quickly.
A few days later, my hot water heater started making some strange noises. When I called the office, they were fully booked for day. But, since I was an "existing customer" (even though work hadn't been done yet), they sent Eric over right away to check things out. Unfortunately, the noises had stopped by the time he got here but he told me to video it if/when they reoccurred so he could evaluate.
On the day the HVAC work was scheduled, the crew showed up on time and completed all work within time period they had estimated. Martin worked with his team to get all the work done efficiently and cleanly. He also helped diagnose and fix an issue I was having with my AC. Had them do annual inspection of heater and cooler, add a supply duct to my loft, replace thermostat with a Nest and clean ductwork. Highly recommend Red Apple Air!

Red apple air has come out to help with heater issues on 2 occasions and both times they have been prompt, professional and able to fix the problem. I highly recommend Red apple air. Today the technician was Martin and he was polite, knowledgeable and quickly diagnosed the issue. This is a five star company with five star technicians.

We called Red Apple because we had an air conditioning drain line leakage. The person we spoke to was extremely friendly and helpful and set up an appointment a few days later as it wasn't an emergency. Martin Hoelscher, the technician, came out and gave the air conditioning unit a look over. He made recommendations on how to fix our current problem and possible upgrades that needed to be done.
He was extremely thorough taking pictures of the problem and explained it to well. We had the problem fixed and will definitely use them for our upgrades. What convinced us to use them and stay with them in the future was Martin. Super helpful, friendly, honest and most important did good work. In this industry that is hard to come by. Initial contact was with Eric who came out to evaluate how I could improve cooling to my loft. Eric was professional and knowledgeable and made recommendations. After providing a quote on-site, I scheduled work to be done the next week. A few days after his initial visit, my water heater started making weird sounds and Red Apple managed to fit me in and quickly send Eric over for which I was very relieved.
They didn't charge me for the call since it had stopped making noise by the time he arrived. When the HVAC work was scheduled, Martin arrived on time with his crew and they all did a great job. Martin was able to identify the cause of a problem I was having with my air and quickly fixed it. Very pleased with the service provided by Apple Air and highly recommend them.

The maintenance of both the air conditioning unit and heating unit today by Martin was professional and thorough. He was very pleasant to work with and I appreciate the courtesy provided to me. The technician Marvin came out to evaluate what was needed to repair /replace the 2 gas furnace wall units in the house. He was polite and professional and took the time to explain what was not working and what would be needed. He left leaving me confident in the accuracy of the report he would be submitting to the property management company. Would definitely recommend

Updated review. Not sure what happened. Started off great with phase I master electrical panel being installed on time, but they did come in over budget (4 stars for that). After some delays from our HOA sending in the final check they lost patience in me and that's when things went off the rails for phase II AC Install. Also we had a baby in the midst of the project so that also complicated things.
I ended up having to go with AIR-TRO to install the AC. Pro: They did meet my initial timeline and the master panel looks good Family owned local business Fermin was nice upfront and easy to work with when he returned texts and calls Misty and the office staff was sincere in her efforts Electrician assistants worked hard and had a better attention to detail than most Con: While we did pass inspection, the work done on the grounding wire was with minimal effort.
The city inspector expressed frustration on their last visit out. We have exposed grounding wire in our garden and another attached to our gas line. City says it's safe, but not what I would have done if given the choice. See attached photo. They did have difficulty separating the bill between my job and the HOA job. There was also a $100 discount offered that was not honored on final bill.
I manually updated their invoice myself when they said their software did not allow the change to separate the bills. In doing so myself, I also updated to reflect the correct discounted amount. I guess I overstepped and this upset them tremendously and I guess that is why they canceled phase II of my $8k AC install job. I did feel that the permit bill was high at $700+ but when requested to produce accurate permits for our records they did so promptly.
There was some discrepancy on the cost of using my old sub panel vs installing a new sub panel. A detail that cost me an extra $975 that was added to the final wrong HOA bill. I had a very hard time understanding what I paid for and they lost patience trying to explain to me. My calls for further explanation were identified as a nuisance. I'm really not an electrician so it was hard for me to figure it out exactly how items were invoiced. Misty promised to have the Edison required plaque installed tonight 4/9/19 on the panel, but as of this review/photo it's still not there. I'll bump back up the stars once it gets posted.
In Summary: I admit that I'm am extremely demanding from my vendors and expect perfection. I'm not an easy customer. With that being said, I would give them a shot at bidding your job, but make sure you have everything in writing and both parties are aligned on how the project will be executed. If you are working with your HOA, make sure they send in a check without delays as this seemed to be the 2nd greatest point of tension

ooooh my word.. I booked a dryer vent appointment with them and I wish I took a pic of the stuff they took out of the duct that was attached to my dryer. I mean it was a straight hazard. Well lesson learned now I know to book my dryer vent cleaning annually now. Their prices are so affordable and customer service was great. Compared to the other business that I had reached out to. Red Apple bought the company that installed our furnace in 2008, so I went ahead and called them when it needed maintenance. Daniel was on time (a bit early, in fact) and took care of the maintenance. He found a worn part and we discussed it and ordered a new one. I also had the ducting cleaned out when he returned to install the new part. My furnace seems to be working less hard now, so I think it's "feeling" better, too.

Red Apple air is an honest and reliable company. We had another individual install a unit and put in ducts by recommendation of a friend. The house never cooled beyond 80 degrees and we kept calling him to fix whatever was wrong. We became very frustrated and called Red Apple air which we found on Yelp.
