I've got a Unico AC unit and everywhere I called told me they couldn't work on it or get parts for it. Then I called Around The Town. Ed asked me clear and specific questions about my unit, quickly diagnosed the problem over the phone, and showed up with the right part in hand. Within an hour, he had everything up and running for a very fair price. A+ service, in the middle of a heatwave no less.

Our heating unit was making a high pitch noise and the good thing was that it wasn't cold out in case it went out. Got on the phone and scheduled an appointment, which Ed told me that I might need a tune up on my furnace over the phone. Well Ed came over and took care of our problem for us and just in time as the weather was going to be dropping in a couple days. Furnace has been working very smooth, noise went away after the tune up and much needed cleaning. It was great knowing I was supporting a veteran owned business.

Absolutely the best service I have ever received getting our heat back up and running and being a new business this was extremely crucial to us. I called in and he was here in 20 minutes after I had already tried 4 other places who could not get to me tell the next day. Ed and his team were highly knowledgeable and incredibly responsive. I had recently purchased a new home with aging and improperly installed equipment and he was able to assess the right setup for my place and complete the install in less than a week - 2 days of actual work replacing 4 units. Great service. Put in a request today (7-27-19) at noon for a service call for my air unit that wasn’t working. Ed called me back an hour later, asked what the problem was and quoted me a price on what he thought was wrong. Ed showed up 15 minutes after that, he looked at my unit and what he thought was the problem was, had the part in his van and my air was up and running in less than 30 minutes and I payed exactly what he quoted over the phone. Great guy, great service. I wouldn’t use anyone but Around the Town to fix my heat/air. Thanks Ed!!!

5 Stars for Around the Town Heating and Cooling. I live in Jefferson Park in an older home with radiant heat and boiler. Yesterday evening our boiler stopped working and the house starting to drop temperature fast. I called them up and they kindly tried to talk me through some possible options that could get it working again. With no resolution, they came out as soon as possible the next morning and had it working in no time. Thanks so much and I highly recommend!

Ed is the best. We had been in our house for three years when the furnace started going out. I found Around the Town Heating and Cooling in the yellow pages. I was skeptical about calling someone who is listed in the white or yellow pages. I took a chance and called Ed and he came out two times to fix my broken down furnace. Ed suggested that I look into buying a new furnace, and I got central air with it!!! Ed is the best ever!!!

Ed and Salvatore were able to come out and service my broken central air unit. They called when they were on their way, came in and assessed the problem, and then Ed explained to me what his recommendation was. Ed and partner did a great job of trouble shooting why my Furnace / AC Unit would not turn on. After testing many potential issues, it came down a simple fuse that was blowing due to the AC Unit shorting out. They didn't try to upsell me on any fixes that I didn't need, just fixed what was causing the issue. I highly recommend them, and will use them for future HVAC issues.

When the weather warmed up and I needed to turn on the air conditioning, in a recently moved in space, I discovered that the unit was not working. I called Around the Town, they set-up an appointment for first thing in the morning the next day. When they arrived they began to assess the situation and discovered other issues that were contributing to unit not working. I woke up in the middle the night to hear a strange noise coming from my a/c unit. I called a number of different services and Ed and his team were the first people to respond. They came promptly on time and did amazing work fixing the problem without a lot of cost. Definitely use these guys they are amazing!

We observed that our AC and Heater were not working well. So I decided to call these guys to do an inspection. They found out that it need cleaning. After they had informed me about the action needed. I let them do the cleaning. My AC was cleaned very well in addition to the furnace. They did an impressive job! When the cleaning was done, they checked and tested the heat and air conditioning systems.
