Fix My AC & Heating

When I first started using Shawn he was great and I used him for everything and I didn’t have any issues with him until I allowed him to put in a new system in my new home and we caught him using R6 material when it it is suppose to be R8 and the duct was put in with 90degree turns which restricted some flow and the fresh air damper wasn’t sealed up tight and it was sucking the hot attic air and all the wiring was just throws up on top of the unit and it looked terrible, I decided to have Wilk’s A/C come out and they found ducts that wasn’t sealed up properly and they was leaking air into the attic and when they checked the unit outside it was low on Freon and the guys he had working for him would often show up and do nothing because they didn’t know what to do and always had to call Shawn and didn’t have any material to do the job and says I’m waiting on Shawn.

Then his wife Malissa would come out and thought she knew all about the plumbing and always calling Shawn when he was here just to argue with him or she would come with him. She is a very rude person and very unprofessional and when I would call Shawn she would always answer and then I would have to deal with her and she new nothing about A/C. Shawn said he would come back out and finish and he never did and I had to do the warranty myself for my unit.

Then Shawn just stopped answering my calls so I moved on to bigger and better which is Wilk’s A/C. I would not recommend this company for new installation and watch him very close when he does work for you.

I've been using Fix My AC & Heating for almost a year now and have been so satisfied with their services and responsiveness. When we call, they follow up within a short amount of time and have always come out same day. Each time we learn something new about our system and the always takes the time to check, and recheck before leaving. Lifetime customer!

Shawn came out to my home after I was unsuccessful installing my nest thermostat. Somewhere during the process of turning off my unit I blew a fuse unknowingly. It was very frustrating trying to figure this stuff out. That is when I turned to Fix my AC & Heating. Before calling Shawn I called around trying to find someone to remedy my heating problem and everyone one else was like Monday I needed it now. Shawn came to me rescue not to mention he is a very friendly guy. He was in and out in a few minutes. Thank you!

Shawn came out after hours to see why our AC wasn't staying on. (He installed our AC 2 years ago & he remembered us. We had the bi-annual service maintenance check the first year but did not sign up again after that.) He was able to fix the problem-which was all because we weren't keeping up with cleaning out the water drain. We signed up to have our unit checked 2x/year & got a discount on the after hours charge. Shawn is a very personable guy & obviously enjoys his job. He takes pride in his work and his AC units. An AC unit is a big investment & one that should be maintained.

Last night we can Home to a warm house. I did a search to find a local AC company. I found Fix My AC was local, and that I could schedule service online very easily. Shawn showed up promptly and got right to work. He quickly assessed that my capacitor had gone bad. He changed it out quickly and then proceeded to check the rest of my system to verify that everything was working correctly.

All in all it was a great experience and Shawn was professional and really cares about doing a good job and getting it done right the first time. I would definitely use him again and I would recommend him to my family and friends.

FIX MY AC went above and beyond my expectations. My elderly Uncle was struggling to keep cool with a 30 yr old AC unit that needed to be replaced. I needed a replacement quickly and was able to get a very reasonable price to install a new one. Shawn and his crew stepped up to do the job like no other! The office personnel were just as helpful. I normally don't take the time to write reviews, but this service was exceptional. My Uncle is comfortable, I'm satisfied, and the AC is working great!

After calling and texting several companies, I used Shawn's online service request and got a call within the hour. Set up a service for the very next day with a 2 hour window. Arrived at the first part of the window and even called 30 minutes before with a heads up. Diagnosed the problem very quick and suggested a repair that saved me from buying a new unit until I could budget for it. So glad to find someone that calls you back, shows up on time, and has more to offer than replace replace replace! Thank you so much Shawn. Definitely keeping your number.

These guys were prompt, ON TIME (window was 2:00-4:00, and the guy showed up at 2:00 on the dot, which is always MUCH appreciated). Fixed me up in under and hour. Really nice service, and professional. Will absolutely call on these guys in the future.

After hour call, Showed up in 20 mins , replaced capacitor, freon and he was out the door... Excellent service, would highly recommend him again. Thanks for a job well done.

Justin and Josh installed are new A/C unit had a good time while they worked very quickly to get the job done. Worked very clean, covers all floor surfaces to keep every thing clean while pulling out the old unit, while working in tight quarters was very careful not to damage any walls when pulling out old unit and installing the new unit. Shawn the owner came out before and during to insure everything was running smoothly.

Excellent and speedy service at a fair price. We called just shy of midnight and all repairs were finished before one in the morning. Pricing was upfront and the service was outstanding. The overall experience absolutely blew the competition out of the water, as the entire service offered was less than some companies quoted me just to come out. I look forward to using this business down the road should anything else ever arise.
