This is the second time I have had Buffalo energy to work on my house. The first time was the installation of a tankless hot water system, and the second most recently was a heat pump system for my whole house. I am very grateful for the quality of service, the respect of my property, and the care and concern they had with working with my schedule and the quality of work. I would recommend them highly!

My neighbor had this horrible company come out to do her installation and the workers very unprofessional smoking, using derogatory and profanity statements. Ruined and dirtied our yard didn't clean up. Did not ask permission to come in our yard. Horrible service I guess cause it's a city program - free doesn't always mean good customer service.

Poor scheduling - three months from start to finish for a 3 day job. Heater poorly installed, leading to a leak then a burst pipe. When they returned to fix it the tech admitted that they knew it was an issue when they installed. Broke a window, didn't replace it for 3 months, and lost the frame. Left furnaces in our basement for two months. Installed thermostat wires backwards twice; they fixed it once, then I fixed it the second time because I just didn't want to deal with them.

When they left the house they didn't fully clean up after themselves, left our front door open (we have an entryway). Went unnoticed for an hour since both my spouse and I were working from home upstairs.

I requested an energy audit via an ad from Buffalo Energy in Dec 2020 citing the Home Energy program was funded, NYSERDA whom I've gotten work done with in the past was part of the process (hope I got that entire process correct). From initial contact to inspection, my energy contractor representative Pete was very thorough & professional, went through all energy-aspects of my home, from hot water tank to HVAC. Was determined via the audit that my home was indeed lacking proper attic insulation.

I completed the application process, received an approval & within 4 wks my job was set for full attic blown-in insulation, at no cost to me. The 2 gentleman Buffalo Energy sent out were awesome, 100% pro's at their jobs, set-up, installation & clean-up was great. Guys even stopped during set-up, ran to Home Depot to get & replaced my bathroom exhaust fan vent tube, as existing 20 yr old tube had holes in it.

They said it would release moisture into the attic & promote mold, talk about going above & beyond what was expected! Couldn't be happier with the new insulation, home is quieter, heat is turning on less, total win-win!

I hired Buffalo Energy to install foam insulation on the rim joist if my basement. I also want a tankless water installed, but didn't that Buffalo Energy offer this service as well until meeting with them and telling them of my plans. Originally, they told me that I would qualify for state aid due to my low income since I'm retired, saving me 50%.

Of course I signed a contract with Buffalo Energy for the water heater. However, the installation of the water heater was very disappointing. First, the hot and cold water lines were crisscrossed, apparently because there was no plan for the install. Secondly, they never put in a recirculation pipe, which is necessary for hot water to arrive at the faucet in a reasonable time, not wasting water. Lasting, the power cord was stretched as far as possible to an existing outlet.

A new outlet should have been installed. I did contact the company about my concerns, but no one came to my house to look at the installation job. I later called another company that I did business with in the past. $1,100 later, the installation problems were corrected. It now takes seconds, rather than minutes for hot water which wasted gallons of water.

We just had our attic and basement insulated and are very happy with the work that was done. We worked with Pete several weeks ago to determine the scope of work that best suited our needs. Zach, Kasheem, Elliott, and Ian were on site today to complete the job. They worked tirelessly, in spite of the extreme heat, to finish the job in one day. Thanks to all for your hard work to get this project completed.

I had an install done, very professional. Fast forward a year later, I had an issue with my thermostat, they fixed promptly and it was not even their issue ( I got a faulty one after my install they did not even put it in). They were willing to help, you don't find that very often. Yet again 2 months later another issue. My neighbors garage burned down causing property damage to my home among other things.

I needed my ac inspected because of the heat and I was worried it may be damaged. Without any hesitation Mike W. came out the next day and did a through inspection. It was not damaged, but it's amazing we still have company's that give this level of customer service. So If you are thinking about any ac or furnace work or installs, if you call anyone else you should rethink every decision you ever made. They are awesome, by far one of the best companies to deal with. I've never done a google review until today. They also had very reasonable prices and financing.

I have had a great experience from start to finish with Buffalo Energy. I worked with Will who explained all the incentives I was eligible for, the process to apply and time-frame to get everything completed. It was so simple and I had all the work done the following Monday after the paperwork was completed. Installation was quick and done in one day. Would recommend for anyone looking to get energy efficient upgrades done like I did.

Buffalo Energy provided me with a home energy audit after I reached out to them regarding lacking insulation and issues with heating/cool in specific areas of my home. Buffalo Energy laid out a solution to resolve my issues and the quality of work they did was terrific. In the end, I had spray foam insulation installed throughout my attic in order to help with heating/cooling and an aging A/C unit replaced.

All of the work was completed in a timely manner with a crew of extremely courteous and professional workers. The team at Buffalo Energy pointed out issues with my existing systems and went above and beyond in addressing issues they found. They provided information and options throughout the process and everyone I worked with, from the project management to the folks doing the work were top notch.

Communication was excellent throughout the process. From the initial audit, the lead up to the work, onsite communication and follow up, the team kept me informed and went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the results. I would highly recommend Buffalo Energy to anyone looking to improve the comfort of their home and who cares about quality of work and professionalism.

I found out about this company when I looked at doing energy efficient updates to my home. From the beginning, I was very happy with the response time and professionalism I received. I worked with Will on all the details, planning, paperwork, etc. He explained all the incentives that were available to me and it was easy for me to make the decision to move forward.

I signed up to get my walk-up attic insulated to save money on heating bills in the winter, as well as ice jams/icicles. I also went with a tankless water heater to replace my aged and almost outdated hot water tank. I was surprised how quickly I got an installation appointment after all the paperwork was done, literally the following week on Monday!

The installers showed up to do the tank first and were very professional, answered any questions I had and got to work. The insulation guys showed up a little after that and also answered any questions I had. They made sure to wear booties over their shoes while in the house as to not track dirt in from outside since they were in and out often. They also wore masks due to COVID, and worked quickly to get everything done. I am extremely happy with the final products and look forward to seeing the savings in my energy usage this winter. Great company, great people, highly recommend!

We spent several 1000's of dollars with this company. New furnace, a/c, he hot water tank and insulation. The insulation install went well but we will find out if they put baffling around all of our soffits when we replace the roof this spring. I'm not sure if Russ and his crew are experienced enough to do plumbing and HVAC work. The a/c did not work properly after the install and it took several days to be corrected.

They had to move our hot water tank to another location so they had to rerun some plumbing and made a mess of our floor joists. (See pictures) 2 years after the install our furnace was blowing cold air. I was told by Cyd and Russ before I signed the contract that they have 24/7/365 service if there is any problems. I called 2-3 times and nobody returned my calls.

Finally after having to call the next day Russ responded after having to sleep in our house without any heat. He was very agitated and said he would come out. When he arrived he was still very agitated and could barely look at me and really didn't even say anything and there was a lot of tension coming from him. It turns out that we were not getting enough gas flow to our gas appliances.

The gas line had froze and we had to call National fuel. $192 for him to come out. What a joke. You would think Russ would reach out and see if we had heat in our home but he didn't. I would never recommend Buffalo Energy ever.

Can't say enough about Buffalo Energy - they were incredible! I was supposed to have insulation work done by another company, but due to scheduling changes (along with more than 2 months of waiting) I moved on & less than 24 hours later I had an energy audit completed & signed off on. Less than a month after that I had 5 guys down at my house spraying foam insulation along the joists of the basement & blowing 16 (YES - 16 INCHES!) of cellulose in the crawl space attic of my 2 story home.

After showing up before the promised time, they were finished in less than 5 hours while being clean & professional. Right away I could tell the difference with the temperature in my upstairs rooms going from 6-8 degrees difference compared to the downstairs to only 2! Knowing my family can sleep more comfortably at night along with the fact that this will help use less energy in the future makes this 100% worth it.

Had a very good experience with Buffalo energy they came out they put in 2 furnaces a hot water tank and a brand new central air conditioner, They were very professional they answered all my questions , And got things done in a timely manner.

Fantastic group of people! The audit was very informative and helped us see where we can save on our electric and gas. They were very honest with us and said we didn't need a new furnace but we were able to get air conditioning for a really low monthly payment and free insulation. We thought it was too good to be true, but we got everything as promised!

The crews who did the work were polite and professional and did beautiful work. I have recommended Buffalo Energy to all my friends and family! Thank you to everyone there for making this a wonderful experience!

The crew at Buffalo Energy did a fantastic job on my home, which required some creative efforts to insulate in small spaces and under rooms with no access. They also did a great job, at great prices, on drywall installation; perfectly matching new drywall with very old plaster walls!

Wanting to thank Buffalo Energy & it's professional team for all the work & wonderful advice given to me the past few years. Having my basement sprayed foamed & sealed has made such a big difference to my home. Every year having my furnace maintained & cleaned has giving me comfort knowing that it is working properly & safe. Larry & Ben did a wonderful job today!!! It is also nice every year to see familiar faces too! Thank You Again!!!

For the record, my experience with Russ at Buffalo Energy was the absolute best anyone could ask for.. Do not go anywhere else!!

Buffalo Energy is the company that ultimately fixed an improper insulation job at my house. The technicians were very nice, very respectful and very knowledgable. They did a thorough job and were able to explain where the gaps from the previous company were. The technicians even came inside my home twice to check to see if any of the blown-in insulation had come inside through any small holes/cracks.
