Our company was founded in 2004 by president, William Kanipe, who has a long history working in the home building industry. Mr. Kanipe got his start as a Columbus HVAC installer/Service Technician, eventually growing into roles such as Field Construction Manager, Purchasing and Estimating Manager and Senior Construction Manager for national leading home builders like Centex Homes, Beazer Homes and Toll Brothers.Building off of his professional experience and contacts, Mr. Kanipe began developing a model for his own company - shaping the concept of the Patriot Air name and logo around the American patriotism and sense of pride he saw following Sept. 11. Since then, Patriot Air Comfort Systems has grown to 12-14 employees and serves the greater Central Ohio area. We are presently located in Canal Winchester.
Our NATE certified technicians are trained to install, restore and repair all heating and cooling brands and models quickly and efficiently to give you the peace of mind your family deserves. We would highly recommend Patriot Air for your HVAC needs! Our AC went down and we felt it was time to replace our whole system. The entire process with Patriot was exceptionally smooth from the initial call all the way through to the final installation. Don't know why my wife's name is listed for this, the account is under my name. In any case, we have used Patriot Air from the beginning with the installation if our central system. Technicians come to our house twice a year to provide maintenance service. They always keep us fully informed about our central system for heating and A/C, we are very satisfied with Patriot Air.

Huge crew came out and completely replace two 20 year old furnaces and heat pumps in two days. Fast service done with high quality is hard to find. These are all high quality men and women! Highly recommend this company. Scott has been our technician for 2 years now. He explains what he is doing, he is kind, and enjoys his work. He educates and thinks about what I could experience until my next visit. The scheduling process is seamless and you are alerted when they are en route to your home. They are considerate of knowing what is needed (example: they ensure the temperature is right outside so they can truly do all that needs to be done on the A/C tune up - this honesty reassures me they are not cutting corners).
Even being a little earlier in the season, Scott let me know a couple items I may come across and how to handle! Price is reasonable and just having trust in a company is hard to come by. Can't say it enough, Highly recommend!

Dave, their HVAC tech showed up when he said he would, he was super nice and respected our home by putting shoe covers on before entering. We had no heat and knew our furnace was shot (having called the fire department the night before!) and Dave talked us down off the ledge. Patriot is going to do their best to replace our furnace within 48 hours!

I called spoke with Kelly at Patriot Air Comfort System she was able to send someone out the same day within an hour. Tech Scott came out on time and was very helpful and informative in what was going on. He was able to fix the issues. I would used them again and I would recommend them. A neighbor recommended Patriot Air and I'm so glad they did. Our furnace stopped working and the temps were dropping quickly in the house. I was able to schedule an appointment and the tech arrived shortly after I had called to schedule. Scott Carrozza was amazing! His customer service was excellent, he answered all of my questions and even taught me a thing or two. Highly recommend!

Technician David did a fantastic job. Before hearing about Patriot we called a large local company that does a lot of radio advertising. Furnace was cycling on and off. Large local company quoted $3000+ to repair furnace by cleaning it, and sent a new furnace salesman same day quoting $6200 furnace. That didn't seem right. Called Patriot, and they fixed our issue for about $300. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about Patriot Air. They installed a new Central Air conditioner for me in March of 2021. I had used a different company to replace the furnace in fall of 2020. The patriot air technicians not only did an excellent job on the air conditioning unit but *fixed* a lot of the poor workmanship of the other company. In August of 2021 my tankless hot water heater went out so I did not hesitate to call Patriot Air. Again, the technicians demonstrated a real pride in their work.
In both instances, the technicians were polite and friendly and explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it in that manner. They removed the old equipment and left the area clean. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

The technician Scott Carrozza was prompt, extremely courteous, and very knowledgeable. He pointed out the issue, explained it in non-technical laymen's terms so I could understand it, corrected the issue, and gave me some pointers on what to look for if I had any further issues. I will definitely be doing business with Patriot Air in the future.

Need a new furnace? Temperatures below freezing? Have no fear Patriot Air is here! Our furnace went out on a Sunday, we left a message with them Sunday, Monday morning we got a return phone call. On Tuesday morning first thing we had someone here to tell us what we needed and Wednesday by 2:00 we had a new furnace installed. It was that easy. The entire staff was amazing to work with, very polite and so accommodating. We highly recommend Patriot Air!

Heat was not fully heating the house and throwing an error. David came out same day, diagnosed the issue and ordered necessary parts. Parts were not available for 3-4 days, so David found a replacement from another unit, and came back to install it within 24 hours. He quoted the work accurately, spent time consulting on future care of our system, and gave us some tips to save money on care and maintenance. He was transparent, clear, honest, and helpful.

The most professional crew I've dealt with in a long time! They were installing our new furnace and AC, the estimated time was approximately 5 hours, they had it completely finished in 3. Everything that was unboxed was removed by them, you'd never know anything had been done in the garage! Very happy with the work as well as the price! Would definitely recommend this company!

I spoke with at least 4 HVAC contractors for quotes to replace our home furnace and a/c and Bill Kanipe was by far the most professional and knowledgeable contractor of the group. He also came armed with paperwork and brochures that clearly described the various products he offered and suggested. They were able to get me on the schedule quickly and called ahead when they were running a few minutes (15 mins) behind. Installation was quick, efficient (they had 4 installers), clean and as promised. Post-installation they assisted me with getting the extended warranties registered and promptly answered my follow-up questions. Highly recommend.

Could not be more thankful that ABC home warranty connected me with this company. The technician Jeff went above and beyond what was asked of him and saved me from a lot of future headaches! He is a lifesaver. Not only did he locate an issue that stemmed from an error a previous company left behind, but he fixed their mistake promptly and was very thorough in explaining his methods and reasonings for his actions.
He provided recommendations and suggestions, which as a new home owner was greatly needed and appreciated. Jeff was courteous, professional and did a very thorough job and I am beyond pleased with his work. I will definitely be keeping Patriot Air in mind next time I need an AC issue resolved!

Patriot Air is THE BEST Heating & Cooling Company in central Ohio!!! We were without heat for 2 weeks this past Christmas after several local Heating & Cooling Companies had us order expensive parts only to tell us they couldn't get our furnace running and we needed yet another expensive part (all the while trying to sell a new furnace...)

Highly recommend this company. They graciously took over a furnace repair job after another company didn't do the job correctly. The other company installed the wrong part, wanted to install a second incorrect part, still couldn't get the furnace running, and tried to sell a whole new furnace. Patriot and its tech, Mike, did a great job. Mike figured out that the first company had not used the correct parts and got the furnace back in operation. Needless to say ... Patriot has really won us over with excellent service, excellent prices, and friendly staff.

Highly Recommended! Our central air went out for the second time in six years during the hottest week of the year. Rather than dump money into our old system, I decided to go new. I called and had the sales manager out the same day to quote a price on a new system. He was extremely knowledgable and made good recommendations based on our needs. I was expecting to wait a week or so for the new unit to be installed, but we were scheduled for installation two days later! Great!
