My 88 year old mother's AC went out yesterday afternoon. She called the company she's been using, and left a message for them to call her back to schedule service. This morning, the temp in her house was already 83°, on a day supposed to get up to 96°, so I called Middleton, who I normally use. Not only do they have someone to answer the phone and talk to immediately, they were able to send someone out within an hour.
The service tech (shoutout to Mike Justice) arrived and immediately identified the problem, which thankfully turned out to be a quick and easy fix. He went ahead and inspected the outside unit, and attic, and explained everything throughout the process, was kind and professional. So here we are mid afternoon in a comfortably cool house, and the other company just called her back. Thank you so much, Middleton. You have a new customer now.

I frankly do not know how Middleton gets all these positive reviews. I had them replace a unit in May, 2018. It quit working this weekend and when I called I was told that it would be Thursday, at the earliest, before they could come out. I paid them nearly $6,000 for the installation. Mr. Middleton used to use the advertising slogan, "I'll take care of that." So much for service after the sale.

We needed our AC worked on during the weekend so called them. A tech came out and first thing he did was ask for the warranty information and then go into the attic. He then went and looked at the AC unit and said there were 3 things wrong with it and that it just needed to be replaced. He offered a fix but said it probably wouldn't last for the weekend.
He offered to have someone call us the same night to talk about how to get a new one and the estimate for replacement. We decided to shop around and get a second opinion and I'm glad we did. The other company we had come out fixed our AC in a matter of minutes and we haven't had a problem since. Always get a second opinion folks.especially when they mention spending $5-8k

We are so thankful for Middleton and their fast, professional service. We closed on a house and our furnace quit working that day. Middleton got a tech out quickly, who kept us safe from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. That tech advocated for us and got Joey out the next day to estimate. Joey worked hard to get us exactly what we needed in a complex, 100 year old house!
The crew that did our install was professional, kind, and worked VERY quickly. They were done with a full retrofit in three days just as its getting colder outside! The plumbers and electricians that worked on our new system were also professional and kind, and did an amazing job. We're very thankful for Middleton as temps get cold again and we are warm!

Return calls and follow-up calls were greatly appreciated. The technician was very helpful, testing everything and explaining it all to me as he worked on repairs. Decided to use Middleton Heat and Air for heating repair services. After scheduling a date, the tech came out to assess the issue with our heating. The tech came out for barely 1-2 minutes and did not touch the heating unit or any of the adjacent units. I am aware that there is a fee just for the tech to come out and look but to be charged for "labor" when no labor was performed seems a little over the top.
I would be more understanding if he actually performed a service rather then just a look over and be charged for an hour of labor. Called the office number and got the run around for 3 weeks. Would not recommend this company for your repair services.

I was a potential customer calling to inquire about a service appointment for a faulty Nest thermostat. I called the afterhours number and was provided an appointment time two days later at 9:00AM. An agent contacted me the next morning and advised me the appointment had been scheduled in the afternoon at an undetermined time within an 8 hour window. Hell, even the cable company can narrow it down to 4 hours. As I also have to work and value my time, I have since made an appointment with a competitor that could provide a more specific appointment time.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They came out 3 days after I called the for service. I explained the issue of the house not cooling. The tech said everything was "fine" no issue found. 3 days later the AC stops working completely, the next tech comes out does the same work the first tech SAID he completed and charged me again. TOTAL SCAM AND INCOMPETENT!
I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. CALL DASH INSTEAD. The CSR department is a joke also! She had no clue what the last tech did after reading the notes and just kept repeating the same line. CALL ANYBODY BUT MIDDLETON FOR REPAIRS unless you want your thermostat to read like mine.

I had an appointment for today, June 18.it has been scheduled for almost a month. Appointment was for 2:00 PM. I called around 3:00 PM to ask how long the appointment window was and they said 8:00 PM. So, basically I have to remain at my home all afternoon just hoping Middleton shows up to fulfill my maintenance contract. At 7:30 PM I called again to see if they were still going to come out.
The operator said they would "still be coming tonight." They no-showed me and made me waste my entire afternoon. Being at home costs me money.and today Middleton had no respect for my time. I have had decent luck with them in the past, but I am very disappointed that I wasn't even called for a re-schedule or even told the truth about their inability to fulfill their commitment.

When driving a company vehicle, the driver represents the company and the potential customer service, or lack thereof, was evident when a the driver of said company truck honed at me for pausing to check for oncoming traffic at a yield. I understand that you have somewhere to be but I'm driving with an infant in my car and your rudeness and impatience speak heaps about you and the company who employed you. You need a refresher in manners and apparently road signs as well.

WOW! I am so impressed by the service we received! Our previous HVAC system was 20 years old, and we started having problems with it last year. Middleton completed a repair for us last year in August. After the repair, we scheduled for a salesman to come out to provide a quote to replace everything. Blake Humphrey was the salesman that came to our house and looked everything over.
He provided us with 5 different quotes, along with financing options. We weren't quite ready to pull the trigger on a new system at that time, but I saved his contact information for when we were ready. Fast forward 11 months, it's the hottest week of the year thus far, and our AC went out again (for the 5th month in a row.this was being handled by our home warranty company, not Middleton).
By this time, my husband and I knew that we had to go ahead and bite the bullet and get it replaced. I remembered having Blake's contact information, so I sent him a text Thursday evening, asking if he still worked in sales at Middleton. He texted me back and we scheduled a time for the next morning to talk about what I had in mind. He got in touch with me the next morning, and I told him which system I was leaning towards.
We also opted for the extended warranty, which I am very happy with. Once we had it all picked out, we then needed to be approved for financing. Once the financing was approved, we received an install date for Tuesday morning. They were all on time, friendly, and professional. Our new system is amazing, and we are so happy with it! Definitely worth the money, and I'm so happy to be working with Middleton so I can have peace of mind that our HVAC needs will be met.

Had issue with heat. High limit switch that sells all day for 30 bucks online. Charged me 80 bucks for initial service, then 219.00 for 2nd visit to install the part. When I complained about the 1000% markup, was told well it includes a 1 year warranty. I could replace it 10 times in a year for that 300 bucks they cost me. I won't be using Middleton again for anything after this.

When I sold my house, the buyers asked for an HVAC inspection. I called Middleton and asked for the HVAC inspection and soon after, a technician came out. I paid an invoice of $88. I gave the buyers the paid invoice and thought all was well. Two weeks after closing on the sale of my home, the AC goes out on the house. The buyers called Middleton because they had just checked the HVAC system and it was no longer working. Middleton told the buyers that I did not order an inspection, but, instead, I ordered a service call.
I called Middleton to try and clear it all up and they were very rude and disrespectful. Their customer service said that they were 100% certain that I did not request an inspection. I even asked how much the inspection would have cost and it was $70, and I paid $88. They basically called me a liar and unintelligent. I told them that they should take care of that poor family that was having to deal with it and they completely refused to do anything.
My realtor and I were so upset that we will never use them again. I suggest everyone else to stay away as well. Their customer service is possibly the worst I've ever dealt with.

This is my first review of any business up to date. Had several heat and air companies come out to try and figure out my new home's A/C issue. All 3 said the coolant was fine. One replaced a lot of duct work and spent most of the evening with us. All companies said the refrigerant level was fine. Middleton came in and recommended that maybe we needed to cut a hole in the ceiling, and add another air return.
They also wanted to added refrigerant to the system. However, I declined that because the others said the levels were fine. They didn't check anything on the system upstairs. Even though I didn't agree to the coolant, they eventually charged me for it anyway. While the technician was there, he wouldn't allow us to speak to his supervisor, or his supervisor was unwilling to speak with us. Finally, the next company that came out found a very dirty coil, which was the source of the problem.
They cleaned that, and it's been working fine since. Even though I didn't sign and agree to the refrigerant, I'm still paying the fairly large invoice to get it out of my hair. Needless to say, I won't be using this company again, and this review will likely not be my last for this company.

We had New A/C heat unit installed yesterday, (in extreme outside heat), & the installers rocked on despite the heat. Installation is beautiful & our New unit works very well. Inside temp was 80° when the unit first started up & we were at 76° within 2 hours. Inside temp was 74° at bedtime. We are so proud of our new unit & very impressed with Middleton Heat & Air. We would recommend to anyone!

I called on Saturday and they could not come until Monday. They came Monday and replaced a capacitor and charged $248. The actual work took about 15 minutes. He spent about an hour total since he had to go buy the part. I have since found the part can be found online for about $25 including shipping. Installing the part took about 6 screws. I feel this was over priced.

Have used Middleton services for 10 years. They have always been reliable and prompt to respond to both seasonal maintenance and emergency repair services. That is especially appreciated when the AC breaks down on a hot Sunday in August. Their technicians are knowledgeable and curtious. Their service charges are reasonable and comparable to competitor's prices.

I highly recommend this company. Their service has been prompt and professional since 1992 when I first became a customer. Recently I spoke directly to the owner (!) and requested a reduction in a labor fee. Not only did Mr Middleton reduce the fee, he waived it completely when I told him that both my husband and I were disabled! They are also competitive on sales and offer all leading brands of AC units. It doesn't get better than this!

After my outdoor AC unit caught on fire last week, I was so afraid I'd be without air conditioning through the weekend.
