Chris the salesperson came to talk to me the same day I called even though I called late in the day. He made time for me every time i called. He was very professional and he made me feel that he genuinely cared about my needs and concerns. He went above and beyond to make sure things were right for me. The service technicians were also very professional and did a top notch job.

Our AC compressor had been making noise for almost a year and so when it finally died we decided to go with a new unit. Chris in sales met with me Monday morning and explained all my options including ways to keep the cost down. I never felt like he was trying to up sell me. I went with his recommendation and so far am very happy with it. The install team arrived at 2pm and we had cold air by 8pm. Ramiro and Alex were polite, professional and very good at what they do!
Thanks to them working into the night the job was completed the same day living up to the company name. I would highly recommend AC Today for service or a new system install.

Casey came out on Mother's Day to service the AC. He was personable, honest, and made me feel very comfortable. After waiting on a part, he made sure he came back as soon as it was available to install. We have used AC today since 2015 and the service has always been great. I would be remiss if I didn't mention Melissa, she kept us informed on the part we were waiting on and scheduling times for the service. I would highly recommend them for your AC service needs.

The ac salesman Marcus was very knowledgeable and friendly. However went with Second opinion company who checked for leaks and inspected coils and ac. It was in good shape except for a leaking cap. Replaced R410 valve caps and charged a.c. It was the cheaper option to try although it is 14 years old. Works great now. May get a few years out of my ac still in good shape.

We are really happy we called AC Today when our heat/ac went out during a recent cold snap. They came highly recommended by a good friend and we can definitely see why. Quinton was so knowledgable and helped us to better understand the parts and how things work. He was super friendly and honest, leaving us feeling good about the repair needed. Marcus was great and very professional. He is working on the fan especially since my husband, Rick is on oxygen. We have to replace it and have to wait a few days for it to come in, so he put a temporary fix until it can be installed. We have been with this company for many years and are really happy with them.

Sunday morning my A/C stopped working. I didn't want to call A C Today because of my past experience with them. I did call and was very pleased with the service I received. The tech, Jeff, was prompt and found the problem quickly. He had the part on his truck and installed it on my A/C unit. He went the extra mile and made sure my freon level was where it needed to be.
I did find out that this company is under owners and it shows. I will be using them again in the future. I would like to thank Jeff again for his quick diagnoses of the problem.

We hired AC Today to install a new Trane Air Conditioner in 2018. We found that we had water collecting in the blower compartment of the air handler. We called AC Today to check it and found that the original company had been sold and was under new ownership. They sent out several people to diagnose the problem but they did not know what was causing the problem.
We paid for the first call. We found out from another company that the AC unit was installed incorrectly and we paid to have the air handler unit moved costing us $1500 to correct the problem. Not happy with AC Today.

Quentin of AC Today performed maintenance service on February 3, 2021. I first used this company about 6 months ago on a rental property and was impressed with the through service and cleaning so I signed up for a continuing maintenance program. Quentin took the time to explain various components and displayed complete knowledge of the system. Looks like AC Today is my new HVAC company!

Do not hire this company! Look at my pictures. I had a simple mini split heat pump to install for them. It took 4 days? After install, Mini split wouldn't work right. Finally, finally after four days of rescheduling and four different techs trying to figure it out, the original tech hooked the refrigerate line upbackwards. I talked to the owner about the stress and sloppy installation to request some money off for the inconvenience. Owner Chris said he would get back to me, never did. Charged my card in the middle of the night.

The tech who came to the house was nice. However, that's about it. They said the AC parts were under warranty but ended up not being so. They also swapped out our Smart Thermostat with a $61 Honeywell unit which is crap. The tech couldn't get our smart thermostat to work with our system after fixing our AC unit. We had no option but to go with their unit and had no choice or options.
They then charged us $400 for the unit when on Amazon it's $61. What a joke that is! Wife called and spoke to owner but he gave her the runaround. They are not customer oriented. We now have to hire another company to come out and install our AC unit. Do not recommend this company whatsoever.

I purchase three new AC systems from them a little over a year ago. I then recommended them to two friends who spent thousands with them too. My upstairs AC unit had a clogged drainpipe. I called the company and they sent out a technician. The technician tells me it will be $278.(plus tax?) They kept trying to sell me expensive maintenance plans for my four AC systems.
After telling me that they would waive the trip charge and go away I had them leave my house. The first AC repair company I called afterwards is on the way out. Total charge will be $80- and this is after hours! AC Today destroyed my business relationship with them. They also damaged my perception that most people are good and kind. This felt like a good ole fashioned shakedown.

We had a wonderful experience with AC Today. Vincent came out, did a very thorough inspection and then clearly explained and showed us why we needed a new system. He then spent hours teaching us about the different options we had, and allowed us time to make a decision. Installation also went very smoothly and in one day, our new system was up and running.
Ten days later, Vincent came back out to walk us through getting our rebates. Although it took longer than he had thought, he stuck with it until it was complete. Vincent was extremely professional and remains as accessible as he was before our purchase. We are very happy with both the product and the employees who have helped us.

A rental property I manage in Sarasota had an A/C on the way out. During my research I found a few companies in Sarasota that looked great for the job. The first company I called had a rude receptionist and I never heard back from them. I then called AC Today and was greeted by a knowledgable person who quickly scheduled a tech to come out to take a look.
Upon meeting Mike, I knew I had found a great company that actually cared about keeping the home cool during the hot summer. Mike and I agreed it was time to replace the AC and he had a great solution. The entire job was done in less than 48 hours and the tenants never went without AC for more than a couple during the process. The pricing was very fair as well. If you are in the Sarasota area, I highly recommend these guys.

A/C today is worth calling up for any services you need. We had to get complete new sets of A/C systems put in for our duplex here in Bradenton, FL (A/C being a necessity here, ) and they were easy to work with and very reasonable! Initially having dealt with someone no longer with the company, Gary was happy to take over and assist, as was Daniel, the owner of the company- who had spoken with us at length himself to sort out our situation at the time. Jared and Tosh were sent out to do our A/C work- putting in both units.
They were quick and efficient, as well as friendly and informative. Answered all questions we had (i'm not knowledgeable with any of this, ) and we are very happy with our result so far. We thought this would be a whole day project but it took them 2-3 hours per side and they were done. All aspects of the installs and parts were done up to current codes. Everything looks great and the house is definitely cooling like it should be! Definitely recommend using them and will definitely use their services in the future.

I live out in California, but I have a home in Parrish that I rent out, and the tenant informed me the fan was having problems. I've used other AC companies in the area, but I thought I would try out AC Today. I called at 9am. Spoke with Gary--he said he'll call the tenant right away and that Nate would be the AC serviceman taking care of the job.
By 11am, Nate called and said the capacitor burned and that he went ahead and replaced it. I called Gary back and paid by phone. I then got the receipt by email. Now that's what I call an efficient company. Their fees were reasonable, they were easy to talk to. What more could I want as a consumer. The tenant emailed me and also said, they were "beyond professional." I believe good companies deserve recognition. They should change their name from "AC Today" to "AC Now" :

We heard a pop in the middle of the night and the AC stopped working. We called AC Today early on Sunday expecting the worst, but after describing the problem over the phone, we were told that it was probably an electrical issue caused by FPL. Sure enough, that was the case. We thought we were going have to pay an arm and a leg for after hours service (they definitely could've taken advantage of us), but it didn't cost us a penny thanks to the great advice AC Today gave. So grateful!!

I have used A/C Today in the past and I was going to call them on Monday to take a look at my unit and ironically I saw one of their trucks a few doors down and Vincent came out to the truck and i introduced myself and said I didn't have an emergency but I knew my capacitor was on it's last leg. Instead of me having to wait the weekend with a chance it could have quit he said he would give it a quick check for me when he was done at the other home as he was right there, well it was that and he had the part and fixed it .
When he stopped over I asked him if he was the owner as he acted like he was. I've already told several of my friends about A/C today and I would give this company 10 stars !!!

Calling a repair service can be scary. My Dad's A/C went out while visiting him in Florida. They were honest, detailed and fixed an advanced issue and still were over 25% less than a company that tried ripping my dad off. The installer was really nice and meticulous. They spoke highly of one another. They even helped with some extra documentation we needed. I highly recommend their service.
