Had issues with my pool heater. Couldn't get anyone to look at it until Mike from Heartland helped out. The heater was very old and ended up needing a new one. Mike installed the new heater and helped out a needed. He is very professional and punctual. I was able to reach out directly to Mike with any questions and concerns I had after each appointment. I will definitely use heartland for any future needs and will recommend heartland to friends.

I've used Heartland for both my heat and air. They are very responsive and always come out very quickly. My A/C had not been working for a few days and when I called today, they came out within a couple of hours. Mike is great! He does not sell me repairs/things that are not necessary and always thoughtfully explains things to me so I understand what's going on. I am also NEVER overcharged like I have been with other companies. I am so glad my air is working again and I will not call anyone other than Heartland for my HVAC needs.

My family used Mike since he first started Heartland Heating and Cooling, to maintain our personal properties and rental properties HVAC systems. He started the business with his old friend, Jimmy but they ended up going separate ways. He was very reliable and fair compared to other companies in the area. Then suddenly out of the blue one day we needed a new AC unit at a property and wrote the check but no work was ever done and no refund was issued.

When an older AC unit kept tripping the breaker, we called Heartland to come check it out. Not only did they service the old AC, they got it up and running during some of he hottest days of the year within 24 hours of our call. Professional. Knowledgable. 11/10 will use again when we replace the unit in a couple years or for any other AC/Heating need we have. Special call out to Michael. He was fantastic.

You get what you pay for and I felt like I could trust this company. Mallory, who anwered the phone was very pleasant and helpful. To me, that makes or breaks my future with any company. On the hottest weekend of this year, my Air Conditioner broke down and was not working! Mike from Heartland came out and found my capacitor was bad and needed to be replaced. Mike was very knowledgable and helpful and also replaced my Honeywell Thermostat which has malfunctioned for a couple of years now.

He also told me told me to go to his website for coupons and I ended up saving $25. Professional and Mike explained everything to me in layman terms. This company will stand behind the work and I will not be calling anyone else for any issues that I may have in the future. I already have them scheduled to replace my water heater because it's getting close to 20 years I highly recommend this company if you're having air/heating central air or water heater problems!

I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing air conditioning services. My ac quit working one evening last week. The following morning I met Jim at the Heartland offices on Huntley Road. He showed me some parts on an ac unit in the back of the shop and told me that without seeing my unit what the most likely parts were that could be causing the problem with my ac.

He told me that with the part number he could possibly get a replacement part the same day. I could not identify any of the potential parts or problems he told me to look for and let him know it later that morning on the phone. He told me he was installing a furnace and ac unit that day but would stop by my house later that day. Although he put in a full days work he still showed up at my house a little before 8 pm that evening just as he said he would.

He tested numerous parts on my ac unit and reached the conclusion that there was nothing wrong with my ac unit itself, but it was not getting the required 220 volts to operate. His diagnoses was confirmed when I discovered that my electric dryer and range were also not working. Jim contacted an AEP repairman for me to fix the problem. AN AEP repairman arrived about 4:30 am the next morning and discovered that there had been an electrical occurrence of some type behind my electric meter which caused the loss of the 220 volt current to my house.

He replaced the damaged wires and the electric meter and everything is now working properly. Although I feel a little foolish for not realizing that I had lost all 220 volt power to my house, Jim was able to identify the problem and I got my ac working. I would not hesitate to call Heartland again and would highly recommend them to anyone!

I would give them a 10 star plus plus rating. I had 2 heat pumps that failed (unbelievably) within a few days of each other. I called two other companies and after the inspection, each assured me both had to be replaced - big buck$. Lucky me, I lost their contact information. Then I ran into Jimmie at my friends house. He came over, checked out both units and assured me a minor repair was needed for one unit but the other was fried.

He completed the needed repair and then installed the new unit in the time he told me the job would be done and at the cost quoted. As consumers, we can only hope we find someone who is honest. Well, look no further - call Jimmie Hacker, Heartland Heating & Cooling. The ONLY HVAC company I will ever call again.

10 months ago I wrote a review about my AC repair by Heartland Heating and Cooling. In February of this year my furnace (the original from 1987 rated about 65-70%) stopped working so I called Heartland to look at it. They got it running temporarily until a new 97% efficient furnace arrived the following week. They installed the new furnace in one day as they said they would and removed the old one.

They were polite, knowledgable and kept my house clean through the installation. The furnace area was actually cleaner when they left than it was before they arrived! Since the original furnace died on me I figured failure of the old AC unit would be the next thing to happen so I called Heartland and got several options to replace my old AC from Mlike.

After discussing the options with Mike, I decided which AC unit I wanted to install, it was ordered and it was installed today. Mike and Chris arrived and started working about 9 this morning and by about 1 this afternoon I had a brand new functioning AC unit installed in my house. Both Mike and Chris were pleasant individuals, polite and very knowledgable about what they were doing.

They were also concerned about tracking into my house since it was sprinkling today and put on disposable shoe booties when they came into the house from outside. This is my third interaction with Heartland Heating and Cooling and I have been very pleased with their work on all three occasions. They will be the only folks I call whenever I need furnace or AC work in the future. Based on my experiences with them I would not hesitate to recommend them for any heating or cooling problems/needs you may have.

In case you are wondering I have not been compensated in any way for my positive reviews of the Heartland Heating and Cooling company. In this day and age with all the service individuals who pass themselves off as "experts" I find it refreshing to find some who really are experts in their field who do quality work at a fair price. I believe their work/quality should be noted.

I called around to several companies in town and no one could get out at a reasonable time. I called Heartland and within several hours Mike was here to fix my air conditioner. Mike was professional and explained everything to me and showed me the parts that went bad. It was a nice surprise to find a professional, honest and knowledge firm as Heartland. Highly recommend Anyone reading this call this company first you will not be disappointed!

Mike and Jim the owners where out to the house today to replace our old leaking water heater. They did an amazing job, they were very pleasant to talk with as they worked and I would recommend them to anyone looking for help. Their prices were some of the best in town, so no matter if you are shopping off price, or shopping off quality you get both. Don't hesitate to call them.

Amazing.. understanding that I have an infant and made my call a priority in this heat. Very personable and respectful he called when he was in my driveway as to not wake my son. He gave options on fixing the problem and explained everything thoroughly. I have already recommended them for service on my dad's house. I will definitely hire again when I purchase my home in the next year.
