Rucker Mechanical and Electric

I would 100% not recommend Rucker Mechanical and Electric. We had an inground pool installed in November of 2021 and Rucker Mechanical & Electric did the electric for our pool equipment. We paid Rucker Mechanical & Electric $2,000 directly on the date of service. On June 15, 2022, we receive a phone call from Teresa saying that "because (pool company) hasn't paid them from another job, they're going to put a lien on our property for $1,000 the pool company owes them." It made zero sense.

She couldn't provide educated responses to questions and wouldn't let us get a word in. I told her when she's calling to give people this information, she really needs to have her ducks in a row. She responded with, "I may not have my ducks in a row, but you know what, maybe I will go ahead and put that lien on your house!" Then she hung up on us.

Classic move. My husband called Teresa back and explained that we didn't appreciate being bullied at 8:00am about an issue that is not related to us. Teresa continued displaying her lack of customer service. She bashed our pool company (who we had a good experience with) and continued to claim "Rucker can put a lien on our property due to someone else's lack of payment because it's "Oklahoma law."" As it turns out, it's not Oklahoma law to be able to run around randomly throwing liens on properties, especially when it's unrelated to the customer.

Just to recap: 1. Rucker completed work on electric for our pool in November of 2021. We paid in full the $2,000 payment at the time of service. 2. Pool company doesn't pay Rucker $1,000 for a different pool job, unrelated to our pool install. 3. Teresa with Rucker calls us on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 to tell us they're putting a lien on our property and that we need to call the pool company to get them to pay Rucker $1,000 for a job that is completely unrelated to ours. 4.

I contacted an attorney because we're not really into professional bullying and threats. We learned what Teresa claimed was "Oklahoma law to protect subcontractors" was completely inaccurate. Oddly enough, as soon as she received an email including our attorney, the issue was magically resolved. If you're interested in supporting an unethical business with no customer service, Rucker is a great choice. Otherwise, give your business to someone else. There are too many in this field to dedicate any energy towards a company who is disrespectful to their customer.

Critical: Professionalism Charged $160 to do absolutely nothing and the man they sent could not even provide an estimate. Had used this company in the past and they were good. but never again.

I have used Rucker Mechanical for about 30 years for heat/air and plumbing. They are a wonderful family owned company who truly care about the customer. I recently had a back-up drain pipe in my garage. They got it cleared and up and working quickly. Their service people are always kind, polite, professional. I highly recommend Rucker Mechanical.

Rucker is our first call for repairs and maintenance for our business. Very reliable and the technicians are always courteous and kind. Services: AC repair, Tap installation, Thermostat installation, Socket or switch relocation

The person who came as a plumber spent 5.5 hrs in our place, fixed one easy thing and was doing diagnostics of the other issues for most of the time. He had no clue what he was doing, all the time was on the phone with his boss discussing findings. Finally didn't know what to do, charged us for over $700 and recommended to discus the charge with his boss next day. Unfortunately he got the money. His boss Sean Rucker refuses to talk and disconnects the phone calls. The worst plumber experience we have had.

On 10/08/2021 Rucker Electric installed a Generac generator there entire team was professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable of the product. Ryan is who was out and give us an estimate he was on the job from beginning to completion and most helpful to go over the product and even helped to set it up on our cell phone. They company was awesome! The Shawn was always responsive on time very communicative and professional. The team that came out again very very professional the installation was very fast. The quality of work is outstanding their price is saved us almost $3,000 from some other people. Highly recommend using them and we will definitely be using them again thank you to Rucker

I've hired Rucker for a few things, two of which are replacing a breaker box and finding and repairing a gas leak. Each time, the people from Rucker have been professional, on time, friendly, and have done an excellent job. Service: Plumbing leak detection

Jonathan and Eddie did an Amazing job! Told me step by step what they were doing and why as they replacemed 10 foot of drain pipe in our concrete slab! Cleaned up after they were done! will definitely recommend Rucker Mechanical and will definitely use them again. very fair pricing also.

I was looking for an electrician to take care of 7 little issues. Dead outlets, a dead light fixture and other small problems. I had used a service from Edmond but their prices were outrageous and another guy behaved really inappropriately so I was online reading reviews when I noticed all the really great reviews for Rucker. I made an appointment and I must say I was not disappointed. David came out and right away he told me the light fixture I thought was dead was not working because the breaker was off!

I can't remember the last time I was in the breaker box but that showed me that Rucker can be trusted. David could have replaced the fixture and padded the bill but he didn't. He moved on efficiently but not rushed even though I was the last call of his day. He was respectful of my home and property and did a great job and was kind to my "herd" of dogs.

I was pleased when my bill was tallied up and I felt that the price was fair and reasonable. I can't list the number of repairmen from all trades who have come to my home to make some kind of repair and left me in a situation where I had to repair something they had torn up while doing their job or they had to come back and make the same repair because they didn't care enough about their work to do it right the first time. I've used Rucker several times over the last few years, both for AC repair and electrical work. Scheduling is easy and commonly available same day. A year or two ago we got a great deal one a whole new HVAC unit. The electricians are great guys and help problem solve in an financially efficient manner. Highly recommended! Their tech wanted to sell a new water heater rather than fix the problem. Charged us almost $500 and fixed nothing. The next guys came over and found the leaks and replaced it for $200 less. And guess what? The water heater is fine.

2 hours after they left yesterday it started leaking again in the exact same area. $481 later it's still not fixed! And they have the nerve to say our techs are confident they fixed it. if that's the case then why is there still water coming out? Will NOT use again. Horrible service!

We had our upstairs hvac replaced with a new heat pump. We shopped for the best price amongst other reputable installers but couldn't beat Rucker's quote. On installation day everything went as planned and there were no surprises. Totally happy with the new system.

Used Rucker M&E for an install of packaged units and a rather difficult uninstall of ancient (vintage 1969's) boiler room equipment. Fantastic work. Incredible service afterwards. Friendly and very competent team. Highly recommended.
