Very happy with our recent experience with Hoffman. Called on a Tuesday to receive an estimate on an new A/C installation, had a salesman (Jim) here by Wednesday morning and installed on Thursday morning! Jim did not try to upswell us, told us what we needed and gave us an awesome quote. Ended up booking our service after quote. Very fast and reliable. John installed the unit and was very nice and fast worker!

If we have any troubles with furnace or A/C, we will be calling them immediately. Unrelated to the service, Jim saw our piano and said he's trying to get rid of an old organ. So included with this service is a free organ! Don't expect a free organ with your service. I think we took the last one.

Chuck was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't be happier with the services and expertise he provided. He was knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Our ducts are immaculate, and he gave us some great tips on how to prolong the life of our furnace. We will definitely use this company again. Services: Cleaning, HVAC duct & vent cleaning

This is my 4th time using Hoffman since last January 2022. 1) furnace humidifier 2) Duct & vent Cleaning 3) New furnace, old one quit 4) New AC unit next day, old one quit. Not sure what more I can say. They are Awesome to work with, professional, courteous, on time. Most of all they are honest. There crew is phenomenal. Thanks to all of you at Hoffman for making these growing pains of new home ownership alot easier to digest. You are much appreciated

Chuck was terrific. He took time to explain what he found and recommended. I used a voucher, added extra for two vents, and decided to add the furnace due to dust from new construction. Before buying the voucher, count the number of vents to ensure the right selection. I feel much better about the state of my house now, appreciate the clear instructions and recommendations. I would happily use Hoffman again.

I travel for work and had furnace issues several times this winter. I called and they delivered within hours and fixed the issues. I had another furnace issue on Easter when I was on vacation in Florida. I text Bobby who was the tech who I knew from previous repairs. He responded on Easter Sunday which super impressed me! I was sent documents and decided to replace my furnace.

I can't remember the other guys name but he sent me email to finance new furnace. So sorry I can't remember your name but you were awesome to. John showed up Monday morning and Bam new furnace is in! I haven't been home to see my investment, but I'm guessing it's beautiful! Thank you Hofffman! A super happy customer!

Furnace shut down. Called multiple places and told a 2 day wait. When I called Hoffman, I lucked out and got "fit-in" same day. Dean did a quick and efficient job for a bare minimum cost. Woke up to a comfortable 70* Service: Heating system repair

Our heat went out this week overnight when it was -15 below and we were out of town. We called Hoffman's emergency line and they said they would send someone out and would call when they were on their way (we knew it would be late). They never came, never called to say they weren't coming, and their dispatcher was extremely rude. In the morning I called Boehm and 15 minutes later they were at my door and had the issue fixed quickly. We were lucky the pipes didn't burst overnight.

I was referred to Hoffman's by the previous owners of my home, and for good reason. My furnace started blowing out cold air, and I could not figure out the "fix" on my own, no matter what I tried. Called them at 7a and they were at the house within a few hours and had my unit back up and running shortly after that. Very personable and professional, and even gave advice on future maintenance. Definitely recommend!

Had to contact them for a no/low heat case on a Sunday in house we recently bought. (Very unprofessional lady responded at first but later the dispatch guy that called was much more professional). Their sticker was on the furnace so I had no other choice since all other providers will give priority to their customers on a Sunday emergency. Despite the service guy being nice, he really did nothing other than power cycle, clean the sensor and blow in the water hose and charge a hefty 220$.

Issue remains unsolved. - I do not recommend. - In addition, and based of the business owner reply below, I think they miss understand reviews. Reviews are based on first impression and experience. - As a local guide regardless of "after the fact" outcome, reviews remain unfiltered feedback.

We found out that heat exchange had a whole and could lead to a dangerous situation. Hoffman was able to quickly get us a bid within an hour or two and come up and install the next morning. Vent cleaning was efficient and well done AFAICT. The operator found a gas leak in the earlier install from a year ago and corrected that by tightening the compression fitting. I appreciate the diligence and explanation. Services: Clean ducts & vents, Heating maintenance, HVAC maintenance

Dean was very resourceful and persevering in achieving a diagnosis of the problem that existed between our newly purchased furnace and our existing humidifier. Dean is a master at his craft. When he didn't immediately perceive the solution he researched until he achieved clarity. He is an invaluable asset to Hoffman Cooling and Heating Company. We trust his work completely.

We chose Hoffman to replace our furnace and A/C system. Steve Chiarella provided the quote, as well as a wealth of information on the products offered. His knowledge of the different choices available to the consumer was exceptional, as well as his ability to explain the pros and cons of each choice. He was on time for the appointment, communicated clearly, and responded to all questions in a timely manner.

The installers arrived on the date and time as promised and worked quickly and efficiently. The area was cleaned up thoroughly after the install. Instructions were given on replacement of the filter, use of the new thermostat, and yearly cleaning of the A/C unit. From the day of the initial quote to the actual day of install was only 5 days. We are thoroughly confident in recommending Hoffman's products and services.

I needed to replace a 19 year old furnace in the home I just bought. They were prompt in getting back to me after I initially reached out to them. When they came to give me an estimate they were very straight forward and didn't go on with details I wouldn't understand. Their price was lower than another estimate I got. After we signed the contract they came the next day to do the install.

The guys who did the install did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. After they left my A/C was not working. I called and they sent someone out that same afternoon. Come to find out the new thermostat they installed was faulty so he put in a new one and now everything works great. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC problem you have.

For Hoffman company, I called for this company for inspection service. One of their inspectors came to my house to inspect on my A/C. After checking, the inspector told me that the A/C coil was damage by the cleaning service and need to be change, and they didn't provide the warranty fix even though my ac still on their warranty. The cost was 2,700$.

The manager of the cleaning service refused to pay for this. So, the inspector left. For a week later, the cleaning service brought other inspector to my house to check my a/c. This new inspector told me that the inspector from the Hoffman company didn't do a good job on inspection. He stated that the guy from Hoffman just try to sell their application as much as possible and didn't do any test to prove the problem on the a/c coil.

I was very concerned about this situation, so I decided to call the Hoffman company to see if they had any evidence to show that the A/c coil was damage. The guy did the inspection said that he use the camera to take some pictures from my A/C but he can't put it on the system. So, I call the Hoffman again to let them know about inspected inaccuracy.

The receptionist told me that she will let her boss to call me back ASAP. I was calling them many times but they still reply to me the same message. It was over 2 week since I called them. But look like nobody want to call me back. Really bad service. Can not rely on them.

This is the first time I used Hoffman cooling and heating. Very good response time. Called at 7am arrived at 8 am. Very happy with repair man. Very experienced, professional and had a friendly personality. Prices were reasonable and quality repair done quickly. Would definitely use Hoffman again.

Was having intermittent issues with my furnace and I found them as a highly rated company on TripAdvisor. First off the technician was not at my house for the appointment nor did I hear from anyone. I called them and they claimed that the appointment never registered until I told them again over the phone. They got someone out an hour after the appointment.

When he arrived he did nothing to attempt to diagnose the problem. Took out his iPad and took a bunch of pictures and concluded I needed to replace my 11 year old furnace. I also paid $30 to have him "clean" the flame sensor. He gave it a couple wipes and popped it back in. Over the weekend the problem cropped up again so I called a different company.

The new company was able to diagnose the problem and fix it. I would highly recommend never using Hoffman for any of your heating or cooling needs as it is clear all they care about is selling units.

We got prompt service and they worked with us for the payment. Installation of our AC unit was fast and professional! Scott at the office was so nice and understanding!! I am so glad we went with Hoffman!

Called when my furnace went out at -18 and no one was available. Talked to Scott H. He had someone at my house in 2 hours. Mike the tech was friendly and super great to deal with. Turned out it was and easy fix and didn't cost an arms and a leg. Great service and would recommend them to any one! Bravo.

I'm a business owner in NE Mpls. Found this company on Yelp, went to their website to fill out their online form that said "Get a Speedy Fast Quote". Filled out the information and waited. And waited. After 5 days, I called and got their answering service and gave them all my contact info. Then waited. And waited. Called this morning, 8 days after my initial inquiry, and the woman who answered basically called me a liar when I said I had contacted them before. "Well, if you filled out the quote form, it would have gone to me, and I never got it." Then she tells me they don't usually repair window air conditioners, in spite of the fact that we have a commercial heavy duty unit that has been serviced in the past. If you're looking for good service, keep looking.

Our 20 year old furnace went out on an extremely cold day, so we were scrambling to decide on a company to install a new one. We got 3 bids, and Hoffman's bid seemed very reasonable, and was the lowest of the 3. The sales rep seemed very straightforward and no B.S. The next day the installers arrived on time and had the job finished before noon. No complaints so far. I would recommend them based on my experience.

We had two furnaces installed this summer. The first one was for our lake home in Minneapolis and the other for our rental property in Burnsville. They offered the best price and installed Lennox systems. The installation job was very neat and the workers were pleasant. One of my concerns was that they would try up the price during installation, but that never happened. There were no surprises at all and that was really nice.

I was referred by my co-worker to replace my furnace and air conditioner, Steve was the sales rep that came to my home. I had three other estimates and Steve was by far the most personable and knowledgable. I decided to go with Hoffman because of the company and mostly I felt comfortable with Steve. The installers showed up on time, they were courteous, polite and pretty much everything Steve said they would be. Steve also showed up during the installation and brought the guys Subway for lunch.

The technicians walked me through the paperwork, showed me everything they did and made some recommendations to me. I am extremely pleased with the "white glove" treatment I received and I have recommended them to two family members who gave Hoffman their business.
