Brought a brand new heating and AC unit in June/2023 have had nothing but trouble. House never cool for the summer always over 80 degrees and now the new heating unit make so much noise and never heat house up

All aspects from setting up the service request, scheduling the technician, to having the service completed was very easy, pleasant, and professional. Jacob did an amazing job in servicing our A/C, especially with the high heat in the attic and with servicing the unit outside. He also added some great recommendations for some efficient cooling. Recently I was very fortunate to have hired a air and heat company that more than met my expectations in replacing an old system in one of my rental units in Charlotte. Eric did a super job in sizing the home and explaining and answering all my questions.

They double checked everything and did an awesome job cleaning up and hauling away the old units. Starting with Eric, who came in to analyze the existing system and recommend what should be installed, and give me the quote, to guys who installed the system are great to work with. They did a wonderful job. They were very professional yet friendly. Eric gave me a couple of options, educated me about the discounts I can get with Duke Energy and Piedmont Natural Gas if I go with the better and energy efficient system.

He answered any questions I had before and after committing to them. The guys who came first did a great job but ran into an issue with the furnace. Jake came in the next day to get it to work quickly. They are confident of their work, so they want to get the inspections done on installations, which is great. Great customer service from Lindsey from the office too. I have set up maintenance contract for my other two older systems too. No wonder I see so many 5 star ratings for this company.

Very responsive, full disclosure as to tech that comes to home.

Have 5 HVAC systems installed in 2006. It was determined one of the units had a leak that could not be repaired and required replacement. I talked to a number of contractors and selected 3 for bids. Penguin stood out as a firm that not only didn't try to sell me, but thoroughly educated me on the options and process. I expected them to come in on the higher side, but were actually also the best value.

The night before installation, I had to change the appointment and they were still able to come the same day, just later than originally planned. The techs that came out were professional and very respectful of our property, both inside and out. Slightly more than two hours after commencing, we had cool air back in the rooms this unit serviced. I highly recommend Penguin and will plan on using them in the future as well.

The whole process was extremely easy. Eric looked at the current system and provided multiple options with information on the trade offs. The price was competitive and the installation was quick and flawless. It is stressful to go through a replacement of your HVAC unit. Penguin Cooling takes the stress out of the process.

Its always easy to give bad reviews when a company messes up or you feel you were treated unfairly and the good reviews sometimes are just overlooked because that's how you expect to be treated for a service. Great service , great price, service tech Scott was real nice guy and fixed my problem within a hour of my call. Had same problem last year with my second unit and penguin fixed this one at half the cost compared to Dan King. Will use again!

Called Penguin Air on a weekend for my parents home due to A/C not cooling. They did respond quickly and did get a service tech out that day however their pricing was extremely high and my parents unfortunately let them perform the work feeling like they had no other option. The repair work was simply putting freon in their a/c system due to a small leak.

I had just had that same work done on my own home a/c the prior week by another company and was charged 25.00 per pound for freon. Penguin charged 100.00 per pound (plus service call charge). I checked with 3 reputable companies for quotes and they were all 25.00 or less. Felt like Penguin was overcharging customers, when challenged they said they had a high overhead and could charge whatever they wanted! Guess we learned an expensive lesson here! Ask prices before they come out!

My heat was not working.I called Penguin Air and they were out within 2 Hours. The technician was polite and new his stuff. My heat was fixed fast and the bill was suprisingly inexpensive. Thanks Penguin Air!

Very quick to respond and were at my house within 2 hours of the phone call. Polite, professional service and they went above and beyond in cutomer service for me. I had an A/C unit that the lines were clogged and the pan overflowed and leaked all over the attic floor upstairs. They fixed the line and even cleaned up the standing water.

A+ customer service. They assessed our situation and presented all of our options with thorough explanations making it easy for us to make an informed decision resulting in a cool comfortable home for our family. Wish they could fix all of our appliances. Kristen and Randy are the best!

This company is the real deal! EXCELLENT customer service, even from the very first phone call to schedule service - the next day they called to tell me they would be a little later than the original schedule, which might upset some folks... But they informed me that an elderly couple had lost heat to their home and they had to prioritize them over my service call (I had previously told them I had space heaters going).

I was VERY impressed to hear that was what they felt was most important! They came promptly after that and the service techs were wonderful and able to fix my unit at a very reasonable price! Will definitely be using them for all my HVAC needs!

I had a problem with my unit, they came did diagnostics, found the problem, explained everything in laymen's terms, by the next day we were up and running again. Give them a call!!
