My broiler furnace stopped working late in the evening on one of the coldest nights Forest Lake has had so far, so with chattering teeth, I called Howell Heating and spoke with Zach. He was professional and polite. He scheduled me quickly and was on time. He fixed my problem, had the furnace running smoothly. He gave me several tips on what I needed to do to get the best results from my heating.

He answered all my questions. He was honest and very helpful! Affordable pricing! I would recommend him to everyone that wants great work from an honest professional. Thank you Zach, you made a bad situation into an amazing experience.

We needed a complete HVAC replacement. I've worked with one HVAC professional since we've owned our home (20yrs), so initially I reached out to him for a bid. He provided a bid that I didn't need to question, but when I was ready to move forward he wasn't available ( long story). I reached out to Zack he came over the following day and provided me with a bid that was pretty much identical of the previous bid.

We struck a deal and I believe he started the install a few days later! As mentioned, it was a complete overhaul of our furnace, AC, and hot water. We couldn't be happier with Zack's professionalism, expertise, guidance, and follow up. It' feels great not to cringe when we see our utility bill. Also, Zack took care of the rebate process for us and a few months later we received a refund from our power company for $550! If you have any HVAC needs I highly recommended Howell Heating.

We've used Howell Heating and Air for many years, and they have never disappointed us. From routine service calls to most recently a new furnace installation Zack has been wonderful! This is the second time we've used Zack in the last year, the first being to put a new blower motor in our heater. He provided great service then so we didn't hesitate to call him again when a need arose. This time I came home from travel on to find our AC unit had stopped working. I called Zack at 8:30AM and the unit was repaired by 2:30PM - and it was a simple fix neither of us anticipated when he first arrived.

His honesty and integrity there is truly appreciated. It's becoming more and more rare to have service providers be responsive and work with you to even find a time to come review the service need, if you can even get a callback. Not so in dealing with Zack and Howell Heating and Air. He'll definitely be our first call next time. He's professional and I was totally comfortable having him in the house with my wife and young kids around. Thanks again, Zack!

You just won't find a more honest, hardworking, knowledgeable guy than Zach. He's professional and extremely fair prices. I wouldn't go with anyone else. He earns your business and doesn't use a gimmick to get you on the door. Then once you meet him you won't go to anyone else.

My furnace went out during the coldest weather in years, after the gas company said - your furnace is junk - knowing I wanted a quality furnace I went with Lennox. Zack showed up within a few hours, quoted the furnace no upselling no pressure. the next day at negative 40 Zack was here at 7am. Very respectful of my home, took every precaution possible, covered everything not one scratch- the installation was excellent, clean up perfect. Zack was out within the hour (absolutely unheard of). We we were sure the unit was history and told Zack that. He could have said it was dead, but thanks to his honesty, he said it only needed an inexpensive part.

This year we really did need to replace the unit as well as our furnace. Once again Zack came out in a flash told us our options and gave us a very reasonable bid. When he came back to install, very, very quickly, I might add, he was again very prompt, professional, courteous and extremely friendly. The icing on the cake was the great job Zack did installing the A/C and furnace and the job was completed quickly and efficiently. We have and will continue to recommend Howell Heating and A/C to everyone we know. You will not be disappointed when you choose Howell.

Zack did a great, fast and reasonably-priced job repairing my furnace. So much so, I decided to have him install heaters in my pole barn. A big job, including running 200' Of gas line, 15' ceilings. He clearly cared how the install looked as well. All with an eye toward keeping costs down for me. Highly recomended!

They have always been straightforward and reasonable. The owner fixed an issue with how the original return duct was installed (incorrectly by another company) and were very open and honest about what the options were. We've always gone with Howell since then.

There were issues not related to the furnace that Zack went more than the extra mile to get right. We're very pleased we decided to go with Howell to install our new furnace.
