Critical: Punctuality, Value Tech was nice and insightful but what they charge is ridiculous! $125 diagnostic fee and $488 for a $100 part. I'm not sure who sets the prices but there's no way I would recommend this company to anyone I know. I'm kicking myself for not just fixing it myself! Service: A/C system repair

My technician, Ivan, was very friendly, courteous and on time. He worked to trouble shoot first the thermostat and blower motor and found that the capacitor was bad and replaced an arching coil in the outdoor A/C unit. Ivan did a great job cleaning the outdoor unit both inside the electrical panel and thoroughly rinsing off the condenser fins after the repair was completed. Great experience with Serene Comfort Heating, Cooling and Refrigeration.

They came out and repaired my furnace when I had a motor failure. Pricing was in line with what I expected and the service provided was excellent. The repair person made me feel very comfortable with his professional workmanship and communication, which prompted me to write this review. Its so hard to find great quality service in this day and age, so I'm very impressed with this organization. Like they say you are only as good as your people and they sure do have the right ones, keep up the great work!

They went over and beyond my expectations. First I call and they ran through all the things to check before we scheduled anything. They really care about helping the customer not just scheduling the call. The diagnosis was on point for my furnace. They fixed it with parts on the truck, told me the full cost before they started and it did not change.
I felt the cost was very fair and I could feel that I got value for my service. I really appreciate the quick response and hope other businesses provided service like this. Thanks again, keep it up. I'm recommending you to all my friends and family for furnace and air conditioner repairs.

Called for service on our air conditioner. The technician came out and thoroughly inspected the entire unit, Gave me an assessment of what it would take to bring the unit back to full operation. My wife just came home from the hospital after being admitted for a severe Asthma attack, the weather was in the high 90's this day and days to come. Had to have it repaired.
When the technician left the unit was operating like new. They were fair with there pricing, and professional in how they performed there services. This was the second time we have had Serene Comfort out first for our furnace, in the middle of February, on a Sunday evening. They responded quickly professionally. Thank you Serene Comfort, if needed we will call again. Thank you

The entire Serene operation is top-notch. Phone skills, service availability, and the final results are consistently outstanding.
Ivan has fixed my furnace twice. He's punctual, presentable, courteous, and knows his stuff. I just recently called about an A/C issue, and the well-spoken person on the phone was able to successfully troubleshoot with me; fixing my problem at no cost to me!

Serene Comfort is a business I know very well. They have helped me twice before, especially when I was in a bind one late night. It was the first week of the new year and I was at a old cabin in Sturgis, Michigan. I started up the heating system but only cool air coming out of the vents. At got very cold that night and I was afraid that the pipes would burst if I didn't resolve the issue.
I couldn't sleep because it got very cold. I decided to call Serene Comfort because it was the only 24-service that would pick up my call. We ended up face-timing over the phone to show him the problem. He was able to instruct me and test the furnace to find out that the flame kept going out. He instructed me to go to a local Walmart and buy a couple items. Long story short the furnace flame stayed lit and the furnace was fixed that night over the phone.

After having problems with my furnace, I called Serene Comfort early in the morning to schedule a technician to come look at it. A very nice man asked me several questions over the phone and walked me through a couple things to check, and, sure enough, he was able to help me get it running - no service visit required. When I actually DO need a technician, I'll be sure to call these guys again. A class act all the way.

It was -8 degrees outside and when we came home at 10 pm our furnace was not working. The house was in the 50's. I called 5 companies that night. Only Serene Comfort answered their phone. They were able to send a tech out late that night. The furnace tech call that he would arrived just after 2 am. He was very professional and fixed the problem quickly, checked out the furnace and fixed another problem.
The price was fair for a emergency after midnight call. They had all the parts in the truck and the parts prices were reasonable. None of the major furnace companies answered their phones.

When I came across Serene Comfort I knew these were the guys i wanted working on my furnace and air condition. My furnace went out in the middle of the night, i called about 10 different companies and nobody was available except Serene Comfort.
