The tech, Sean, was fantastic. Quickly identified the issue as a failed blower motor and module. He also performed the repair quickly and efficiently. H&H didn't try to up-sell me a new system and stuck to repairing just blower motor I needed. The price seemed fair. The only negative is that it was very painful to get communication out of the office.
Every communication instance was initiated by me. Overall, the process from identifying the issue to repair was just under a week and some proactive communication would have been nice.

We've had this company for years! But! A blower motor went bad. It happens. But now they say entire AC needs replaced. Because as they say, they can't get the parts. Wrong. They blame it on the companies are all busy. back orders. or the other one you hear " it'll come from China and take months to get" Wrong! It took 20 minutes to find an exact match from about three hours away! ALL THEY ARE INTERESTED IN IS SELLING AN ENTIRE UNIT.
The cost, $8500 bucks! $8500 bucks. AND better yet, they admit ITS STILL UNDER WARRANTEE! You gotta be kidding' me! We bought the warrantee- you should do the repair. I understand, the part. Bla, Bla, Bla. I checked. MADE IN USA! And so after repeated calls to Hearth & Home, and messages left. No reply. (No surprise). I called and left message for operation manager.
Here is the reply. Same story. " Well, I have looked into your service history. You are in need of a blower motor. All the Maytag dealers in our region no longer provide or handle warranty parts. So we have to go direct to Nortek Global, provider of Maytag HVAC products. You can imagine how overrun they are handling warranty since nearly all dealers dropped them with good reason.
Last we spoke with them your motor was on back order and they could not offer an ETA. I will reach out to them and see if they have any updates. Hopefully encouraging news. Thank You, Rick Salazar Operations Manager Hearth and Home Heating and Cooling Mr. Fireplace Patio and Spa 3351 w. The guys who installed our new AC system did such an excellent job! They worked very hard and were very efficient and left everything so clean! Very polite and pleasant and thorough. Everything is working beautifully. They went the extra mile and cleaned out the drain pipe, checked the exhaust on the roof, and everything. They even rolled up our extension cord and put it back in its place. I have already recommended your company to my coworkers. Thanks for the great job! If they were my employees I'd give them a bonus or even a raise. Very impressed.

Hearth and Home is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. I called the company for a new A/C quote based on a friend's recommendation and could not be happier. The service manager, Rick, spent 1 hours with me in my home on the initial visit, patiently answering my numerous questions (I had done a LOT of research on A/C's and Air Handler's so I could make an informed decision).
Once I ask for their proposals, John, owner of Hearth and Home brought several written proposals for different BTU levels and SEER ratings for my review. I never felt that they were just trying to "make a sale", but desired to install a good product and one that was best for our home. On the install day, both technicians, Robert and Harold were here early in the morning, as scheduled and WOW were they awesome!
I was snapping pictures throughout the entire process so I could send them to my husband who was out of town. I was really impressed by their superb work and very visible dedication to their crafts. Robert organized and tie wrapped all the wiring on the inside of the air handler which will make it easier to maintain during the life of the unit. Additionally, everything he attached to both the air handler and the outside unit is organized and protected against weather as well as strings from weed-wacker!
He also got some of my living room paint and painted the wall after he took the old thermostat off so it would have clean lines when he put the new one in! Can you believe that? Harold's work was superb as well. He completely rebuilt the air handler box, and although it took a good portion of the day, never tried to rush through or compromise the quality of what he was building.
He made a good, well built, sturdy, strong box. He not only put mastic on the outside of the box, he put it on the inside as well (and he used "plywood instead of OSB board - which was what the old one was built with); he also put it on the inside and outside of both the new supply and return plenums. After they finished the install, my garage was spotless.
These guys were unbelievable! I am SO happy I went with this company and have told several friends about my experience with them. They delivered exactly what they promised. If you are in the market for a new A/C or are looking for a company to provide a maintenance program for your old one, do yourself a favor and call Hearth and Home.

I had Jeremy Sorum the Sr. Service Technician come to do my AC maintenance. He went above and beyond servicing my AC unit and educated me regarding routine maintenance. He taught me things about the AC unit I had not been told before when using another company for my AC at another home I had. I will no longer use the other company and will request Jeremy Sorum for all my AC needs in the future. I'm sure he is a valued employee for Hearth and Home. He truly cares about his customers. This company was from a referral. They have an awesome a/c maintenance plan. It's a super value fir service twice a year. A message was sent ahead of the techs arrival. He was knowledgeable, he was experienced, and didn't sell anything like parts or extra Freon. He even checked my insulation b/ I was complaining of always being hot in back bedroom. Nice to find honorable companies!

I definitely recommend Hearth & Home. If anything else comes up with our system we will go with them again! Calling in and getting an appointment up to the technician coming out. All around amazing service at a great price even on the weekend. Jeremy Sorum was the technician that came to the rescue. He was great extremely professional and got us up and running in no time.

Hearth and Home Warranty Ripoff! Heath and Home installed a very expensive, over $6000 system in 2014. Fast forward to April 13,2020. My how things have changed with this company.and NOT for the good! So this expensive system Hearth and Home installed, the compressor failed recently after 6 years. Since it had a 10 year warranty we thought we would be treated kindly and fairly.
Instead what we got was an insane quote of $1514.00 for labor and Freon to replace the compressor! We were shocked! And something just did not pass the smell test with this quote. So I called 3 other places All Brevard, 321, and Advantage Air and they all confirmed that yes you do need to cover the labor and Freon cost on a compressor warranty but all 3 of them quoted prices between $600-700.00 for this, less than 1/2 of what these ripoff artists at Hearth and Home were trying to charge us!
This is so disappointing how we are treated as a previous customer and with money very tight now with my wife out of work to due to COVID19. Oh, on top of all this we had to pay a $99 service call.all the other companies were much less. We were not even a customer of All Brevard who we decided to let them do the warranty work. They charged only a $60 service call.
They also said Hearth and Home diagnoses was also incomplete and showed us how the fan was also burnt out. They replaced the fan, the compressor and all the fluids for $700, less than 1/2 of Hearth and Home. These people are thieves and we highly recommend that people stay way clear of this company. You will not be treated fairly when it comes to your warranty work. Never again will we deal with them. All Brevard, you have a new lifelong customer!

I have just started working with them to change my fireplace from wood burning to gas. The front desk person at the store was great. She was informative and set up a home visit to evaluate the setup. The technician who came to evaluate the set up and take measurements was efficient and very informative. Weber’s to go back in and choose the unit we want and to set up an installation date.
We have not done that yet due to the stay at home requirement currently in place. We plan on going in shortly though. I apologize for not remembering the names of the individuals. I have become terrible with names.

Service technician, Jeremy Sorum came out to reaearch why our spa was loosing water! He was prompt and very knowledgable of what was wrong once he looked at the pump inside the spa compartment. He was able to call in the part numbers for service so that an estimate could be given to us the same day (actually within a few hours). Jeremy was very pleasent & an assesst to any company with customer service & knowledge representing your company. I would recommend Jeremy along with your company to anyone needing service! Thank you

Great company! My A/C started acting funny and I started calling. First place I called still hasn't called me back and that was 2 days ago. Second place was Hearth and Home. Not only did a person pick up (and not the voicemail), but they understood my situation and arranged for someone to come out from the time I called to 6:00. Okay, cool. Technician shows up an hour later very professional and listening to my explanation.
He looked all over and was great about asking questions and telling me what he was going to do or check. In the end, the parts and things that would be needed would cost more than a whole new unit. Technician got me an estimate and I slept on it. Next day (Friday), I visited the office. Wonderful space and friendly staff all around. We talked and the deal was right.
They were honest with me about seeing if someone would come out over the weekend but at the latest Monday. I was overjoyed that the technician from before and another would come out today (Saturday). They arrived on time, were professional, told me what they were doing before they did, and overall treated me better than a customer. Hearth and Home is a wonderful company and I will recommend them to everyone I know. They are the tops!

We are so so not happy with this company. the people are overworked. the customer service is not forthright. rick the manager will say the right thing, but do what he wants and so does the owner and the receptionist will back them. if you have no issues then it may work out. our new air conditioner had issues. finally we called barker and they explained and fixed everything happily as customer service should be. we are so pleased with them (barker). even if our air conditioner breaks down we can go through barker which suits us just fine.as rheem conditioners are guaranteed. clearly a one star service program. they simply don't care to do the right thing.

I had a 20 year old trane system in my house. I had one incident with it and had hearth and home come out to fix it. I decided because of the age of the system to have a new system installed. Hearth and Home installed the inside and outside units brand new. Everything seemed fine at first and then every 6 months for the first 2 years the system would no cool or would not turn on.
It was always a different problem. They came out a couple of times and put a bandaid on it till it would happen again. Then after a year they asked if I wanted to by an extended warranty from them for service calls. I asked them how many new units they have to visit every 6 months for repairs and the employee didn't give an answer. I finally called Able Air to come out since I have lost all trust in Hearth and Home's abilities. They found that I had a leak in the system and repaired it. I haven't had a problem since. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST! These reviews are here for a reason!
