WARNING : FRAUD Northside Air Conditioning Lewisville Texas. Do not, I repeat do not fall for the job posting. You may find it on indeed, SimplyHired, zipper kruder, just beware this company is full of shit! below you will find a screenshot of my year to date paystub. I fell for their bullshit six months ago I was promised $80k up to $120k with a promise of plenty of leads to run! None of it was true.!

I purchased a Silver 80 system. Unfortunately, they did not install a Silver 80 but rather the lower end American Standard 80. When I mentioned it, they did replace it with the correct unit, but they did not remove the plenum - they just lifted the unit out and placed the new one. As a result, they did not seal the rear of the unit at all. I had felt cold air and thought maybe they missed a spot right after the install.
I mentioned it and they insisted there wasn't a problem. It bothered me for a couple years that the floor in the laundry room stayed very cold. I was trying to figure out how to seal the rear (thinking it was just one spot). I thought the best approach would be to see if I could reach down from the attic. When I went into the attic, it too was cool (in the summer).
I found that they had not sealed the ducts to the air supply (at all!). So, I sealed all of that. And, realized I couldn't reach the back of the unit from the attic. The only way I found to properly seal the unit (since they did not do so before the install) was to put holes in my drywall, so I can reach behind the unit. They actually didn't seal much of anything.
I went through a bucket of mastic and 2 rolls of the foil tape. I will note that the unit does work great so I would recommend American Standard, but not these folks to install.

During the past cold front, our Heater in the house stopped working. I called Northside Air Conditioning. They sent someone out the next day to evaluate the system. My heater was original with the house and about 25 years old. They were able to replace the heater on a Saturday. The entire job took them about 2.5 hours and cost less than $3,000. I received some quotes of over $5,500K, so I was very happy with the service, price, and efficiency. I am a Real Estate Broker and will definitely strongly recommend them to all my clients for any HVAC needs.

Called Northside this week, it was the first time we have done business with them, and they (Amanda, Terry and William) exceeded all expectations (Jerry, the owner even helped!). One unit was not heating properly, but it was not an emergency. we were able to schedule the visit for the next business day. The technician, William, called to let us know he was on his way and what his ETA would be: hours ahead of schedule. William was very professional and listened patiently to my comments about the system. it's likely it was an issue with the Nest thermostat. He reset the Unit and checked all the Nest settings. Very happy with them, especially William! All our future call will go to them!

Had another great experience with Northside today, during this lovely cold snap. They have been servicing my Trane heat pump for the last few years. The heat worked fine this morning (I remember waking up to it blowing nice warm air), but a couple of hours into the morning I realized it hadn't kicked on again and the bedroom was getting chilly! The fancy LCD thermostat was blank. no way to get the heat to turn on.
I did the requisite Google search of the symptoms, checked the breakers in the electrical panel, even flipped the breakers in the closet where the unit lives. Called Northside and they gave me an appointment window of 4:30 to 6:00 pm. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from William at about 1:15, asking if he could come earlier. Yes, please! William was able to get the unit powered up and the thermostat alive, and then began to trouble shoot what had caused the issue.
He replaced a part that was clearly worn, and continued to check for the root cause. He did some research and was able to identify the need for another part to be replaced. I cannot express how great it feels to a) have heat working again and b) have had such a great technician like William working on my Trane, allowing me to peek over his shoulder and ask questions, and c) to feel secure that Northside has my back (and my trust). Thanks, William, for taking care of my heating problem, and being so nice!

We needed our AC looked at and finally bit the bullet to call. They had someone out there within a couple hours! The guy was Extremely nice, professional and helpful. He fixed the problem and had everything cleaned up within an hour and a half! They gave me a "heads up call" so I could put my dogs up which I really liked! The office people were very sweet as well! Highly recommend calling them for any problems you have with your unit. Definitely using them again if we have any problems in the future!

Tech was a nice guy. However, the way they trouble shoot is : let's fix this and hope it works but it could be anything. They sold me on a hard start and a capacitor. Probably don't need the hard start: they said I probably have a leak though too but it could be anywhere. They left. Ac worked overnight and the next day the unit inside the house shook violently.
Only their employee had been up in the attic. I called and they sent the same person in again. They opened the motor to find screws had fallen out. They are basically blaming our family member who put the motor in because they are unlicensed for the fact that there were missing screws. Our unit NEVER SHOOK BEFORE THEY WENT UP There. Now we have a service charge and another charger for them opening the motor of near $300.
Plus now our brand new blower motor is damaged and they are saying we need to replace the whole thing. THIS IS UNETHICAL, they nickel and dime you and suggest this and that and I've never seen money slip away quicker. Then I call this "shady buisness" and the women on the phone got extremely defensive and wouldn't let me finish what I was saying. Well it is shady if something that never made a noise before shakes our entire house after their tech was the last one in the attic.

Tim came out and did a repair on our AC on the same day that it went out. In less than 2 hours, our system was back up and running and we were comfortable in our home again. Northside installed our AccuClean AC unit in 2016 and they have done a wonderful job with keeping it running well. I recommend them to anyone in need of HVAC assistance. Their prices are fair and they are professional and courteous.

My elderly parents' AC went out. Found Northside via Google search. Called & left a message. Tim called me back within 10 minutes. I explained their situation and he was at their house within 45min. I had an old AC system replaced by Northside, furnace, coil and condenser, who did outstanding work. Not only were they incredibly thorough and professional from the very first assessment with Chuck, which included a proper heat load calculation, but they made improvement suggestions, planned to reorient my equipment in the attic and were extremely competitive on price.
The installation crew was friendly, professional, communicative and blew me away with their creative install that passed inspection 2 days later. I took bids from 4 local companies, 2 took no heat loads so were disqualified immediately and the other sized properly but wasn't competitive on price. I won't hesitate to use or recommend Northside in the future. This is my AC company! 5 stars!

Alright. I'm fed up with these guys. We've purchased a new AC unit from them probably years ago, but our ac seems to go out every other month. The guys have been here four times in a month and a half. The workers are very nice, but they suck. They never finish the job and correctly check for leaks. Today is a broken coil, two weeks ago it was dampers, two DAYS ago it was low on Freon.
You get the point. They're ordering parts AGAIN which will be here in two weeks. Our house is 82° upstairs at 8am. It's 97° outside all week. you can cook eggs on the sidewalk! Not sure who trained these guys but how do you not check and make sure everything is functioning, there are no leaks, and there's enough Freon before you leave? Buddy was here two days ago for FIVE HOURS just for sh*t to hit the fan again and ONLY WORK FOR 18 HOURS BEFORE IT BROKE AGAIN!
Best part: we can't even contact the owner/ manager. This is a sick game these people are playing. I hope everyone feels how dramatic I'm being! ITS HOTTER THAN HECK. I'm sweating from places I've never sweat before! Just so these guys can get $600 for every visit off of us.

They charge $90 as a service fee to diagnose what needs to be fixed and if I decide to use the service and get the repair done the $90 does not go towards the repair! Okay, that's called swindling. It's understandable if I decided not to use the service to pay for the diagnosis but if I do want to use the service it's 90 bucks plus whatever the repair cost is. Good luck robbing people, consumers are not as gullible as these folks think people are.

Our home central air conditioning system died in he middle of July and we needed to get a replacement. We did a full due diligence search considering all the options available. Please allow me to save you similar time by telling you not to bother and just go to Northside Air. I will tell you that these guys will not be your cheapest option in town (they will be very fair though) but come on, you are talking about buying a system that will control your home environment, every day of every year.
Do you really want to be cheap about this or do you want a really good system. These guys were great if I can understate their value. When I inquired they sent Chuck out. He did a full analysis of the home and then sat down and explained all the whys and whatfors. He never pushed us to buy any extra whistles or bells, just laid out our options. When the guys came out to install, they just did an awesome job.
From start to finish, their work was clear, accurate and spot on. What a pleasure to work with these guys. Five seconds after they left, you could never tell they were here working, thats how clean they were and how professional their installation was. Great company, great people, great work, great product. These people are the real deal.

Never had a more thorough, knowledgeable team of people. Extremely respectul, professional and honest. Extremely educated in what they do. They were very prompt when our AC went out and worked it all for our good to service us the best way. These are people you can trust in your home and trust to not take advantage of you with potential expensive services. I called Wednesday morning before Thanksgiving because our heat was not turning on and Chris was at my house by 10:30am! He quickly located the issue, contacted a local supply shop to see if they had the part that I needed, drove out to Carrollton to pick up the piece, came right back, and got everything working! I feel like businesses typically say they have to order a part and then you have to reschedule another visit, so I was very thankful that Chris didn't say that.
It was $89 for the service call and then $200 for the piece/installation-honestly, I don't think that is too expensive if it gets our heat working and we can hold off until spring to replace our whole unit. We will definitely be contacting in the spring to continue using their services.

Bought my house in 2010 and have never used any other company to service my AC and heat. I gave them a call on recommendation from family who have been using them for years. Everyone I've talked to at this company has been extremely polite and helpful. The techs they send out all show up on time and will call ahead when they are on their way. They've all been good about explaining what they're doing and answer any questions.
The last few times I've had my system serviced by Mike who is really nice and professional. He informed me that I had a small coolant leak in my system and didn't try to "upsell" me, just told me about the problem he found and gave me some options and how much each option would cost - in fact he recommended the cheapest option which has been working out fine 6 months later.
I don't have much experience but they are reliable, professional, and as far as I know do great work at a reasonable price. Give these guys a call, you won't regret it.

I've used Northside for 15+ years. They do excellent work. Their technicians are polite, knowledgeable and you can believe whatever they recommend. They are not pushy at all. I've had an annual contract with them on all of my ac/heat units for years. They come out in spring and fall to inspect equipment, test it, change all my filters and give you a percentage off of parts if anything needs done at that time or any other time during the year. They just replaced one of my AC units (compressor and attic coils). Did great job. laid covering to protect floors, and I'm delighted with the results. Great people.

I highly recommend Northside Air Conditioning. Chuck Parker promptly reviewed our broken system and gave us several upgrade options. Within two days they were here to update our entire system, inside and out including the furnace. The techs, Spencer Murray and Jamar Johnson, were very professional. They were hard working despite the weather being in the high 90's.
They took the time to vacuum any debris that had fallen on the floor. They also inspected every vent in the house and found one vent had a quarter size piece of insulation and promptly removed it. We were very pleased with the service provided by all employees at Northside Air Conditioning.

Great service! We came home on the Sunday of the Independence Day weekend and our AC wasn't working. The technician was to our house within an hour and able to fix our unit. He had a great attitude even though it was a Sunday of a holiday weekend. He also helped us with a few of our filters. Thank you Northside for keeping us (and our dog) out of a hotel!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. Had to replace my entire HVAC system. Due to cost, obtained multiple (4) bids from noted companies all top rated on Yelp. The bids ranged from handwritten with little detail on assessing layout & rating the necessary tonnage for the livable square footage to very detailed room by room analysis with printed a printed out breakdown on everything. Thankfully, Northside was very detailed and surprisingly one of the lower estimates.
While I do subscribe to the adage you get what you pay for, like most I don't want to pay more than I need to. I love that these guys use American Standard (highest rated in Consumer Reports). & as honest as the day is long. Highly recommend.
