AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning

Our water heater went out, and we called AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning as we have had great experiences with our office building and home. Marissa was awesome in helping us get scheduled. Xavier was our technician, and he was very friendly and informative. Not once were we up-sold, and we were given options and allowed to choose what we felt comfortable with.

He was very efficient, personable, and left the space cleaner then it was. We could not of had a better experience, and will not hesitate to call AAA again for our needs. Thank you for making the process so easy!

We started a HVAC servicing request. They asked us for our number to disuss pricing which se sent but no one ever called us back. They disnt pick up the phone when we called either. Got it done somewhere else.

We one furnace and two condensers replaced this week and found the price very fair, the follow thru excellent and Josh, Spencer and Ray did an excellent job double checking each aspect of the job. They left each area clean and communicated each day so we would know what would be happening. Rich came out before and looked over everything before giving us a bid. He was very knowledgeable. Overall I would definitely recommend AAA

We highly recommend AAA. We had a great experience when we replaced our furnace and air conditioner. They presented us with several options, and we never felt pushed in one direction or another. The cost was fair. When they did the work, a team of three finished the job in one day. They're very nice people, and we would absolutely use them again.

I needed a new furnace in one rental, and a new furnace and AC unit in another so I called AAA Furnace. I've used them over the past 10 years for a variety of services and I've always been pleased with them. These 2 jobs went as well as the others. They show up on time, are very respectful of the property and tenants privacy and always clean up after the job has been completed. Professional work at a competitive price. Easily a 5 star experience. I highly recommend them and I will continue using them.

I have used AAA Furnace for years. Never once have I had a bad service call. Today Josh and Hal installed a new HVAC system - very professional, courteous and cleaned up after the job was completed. Highly recommend.

I have got an ac out on the house. They were on time clean and quick they did a great job.

Our home was built about 1947. Original ducting, although the furnace and AC have been replaced. A few months ago we had an infestation of big black flies. It was suggested we have the duct work replaced as there were open seams. We called AAA furnace and Air Conditioning who have done other work for us several times previously. (New furnace, new AC unit) We have always been impressed with their professionalism.

The workers have been very business like and efficient. We are always impressed by the care and respect they have for our property. They leave the work site clean and in order, even if the job involves several days. I can always recommend them with no qualms.

I had some issues after installing a new smart thermostat, and Robert B. came out within a day, called ahead, and was actually early (which was super convenient). I'm not accustomed to service personnel having such great customer service skills. He fixed the issue, was very knowledgeable and I ended up getting a full-service cleaning of all pipes connected to the furnace. Brian L. came out for that and was on time, and did a great job. I will definitely be back, and will be referring others to this place.

Though my appointment has not yet occurred, I'm already impressed by their accommodating customer service. Toni responded to my text inquiry promptly, professionally, and she was more than happy to reach out to my tenant to schedule service. I appreciated the convenience of the text feature, as I'm frequently not able to answer my phone. I'll update the review after the service occurs, but if their techs are anything like their cs reps, I'm certain I'll be satisfied.

Following up a couple weeks later on my first review, all has been going smooth as silk when the air duct/heating/cooling/hot water heating system cleaning occurred this week. The AAA staff answering the phones to set up the appointment, and the guys who showed up to do the work (Brian, a very experienced professional, and his assistant Brandon) were very friendly, helpful and explained things step by step.

A far cry from the arrogant, brusque, non communicative staff we've seen all too often with others. And Robert F true to his word returned a couple weeks after having fixed the furnace leak, and efficiently installed a new smart thermostat, graciously folding that into the cost of the rest of the package we had purchased. All in, we have been very impressed with the series of transactions for the ease, friendliness and integrity of services provided!

I had a problem with my ac not cooling - very problematic for the upcoming summer. Aaron was fantastic, a true 10/10. He went above and beyond, very knowledgable, and delved right into my a/c problems. I would recommend AAA and especially Aaron to anyone I know.

Quick diagnosis of broken furnace and got me back with a temp solution while part or replacement is being ordered. Super responsive and professional.

Very quality work and professionalism Service: HVAC duct & vent cleaning

Called out AAA to help relight a pilot, the guy mentioned he could smell gas as he entered. He checked the wall furnace which I originally called him out for but didn't seem to want to check the gas cooked, called him back - he sniffed around and said it was probably leaking but didn't offer much help. It was actually just a pilot light that had gone out on the gas cooker but he didn't spot it or check for it.

He left after about 30min, charged for the full hour and changed a part that didn't need changing. Also quoted some very big numbers for replacement parts. Felt like a very expensive service which would be ok if the check was thorough and work was good, but it wasn't.

AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning provides excellent customer service, tremendous craftsmanship, and know-how that you do not see much anymore. Eddie and Jay in particular were able to quickly resolve a lingering issue that had seemingly ruined our furnace and left our home without heat as we entered the colder months. Within 90-minutes of arriving, Eddie and Jay diagnosed the issue, laid out the potential courses of action that we could take, replaced the faulty part, advised us on the potential next steps, and even taught us how to fix any pilot light issues moving forward.

We could not be more grateful for Eddie and Jay's quick and thorough assistance and recommend them and AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning to everyone we know. Nate the Great did a fantastic job. Arrived on time. No surprise upsells. Did what they promised. Nate prepped and cleaned up meticulously. We are very pleased with the service and would use AAA again.

Both our furnace and air conditioner needed repair so I called AAA Furnace & Air Conditioning since they did a great job on a previous service call. They did not disappoint since Robert called to let me know his ETA and he took his time with both units. I was holding my breath when it came time for the bill but was pleasantly surprised as it wasn't bad at all. He let me know what to expect in the future when the air conditioning unit reaches its end. I highly recommend this business.

Be aware, this contractor has a different name called RANDO AAA when going through a home warranty. Stay away from this contractor If your home warranty assigned this contractor to you, try all your best and nag your home warranty company and request changing to a different contractor My furnace's control board burnt off and needed to change to a new one.

This is totally covered by my warranty. But the contractor requested me to spend another $200~350 for a maintenance service in order to change it! They fraudulently explained to me that the service is a preprocess of the fix and a must-have. However, it just turn out to be a very regular, and overpriced maintenance service. And they skip half of the maintenance process with some ridiculous excuses. They already made you pay first and they don't care anymore.

When in starts getting cold, HVAC companies start getting busy. Some simply don't return your call. AAA did, but I found out why. Their goal is to upsell you service that you DON'T need. They did fix the unit, but charged a lot. They did a good job for me 25 years back, but times have changed was my experience.

One Friday night, our AC condenser stopped working, and the indications were pointing to a faulty capacitor. The forecast for the weekend was in the 90s and my cat had a heart condition, and she needed to be kept cool. It started calling HVAC companies early in the morning, the AAA person was very nice and offered me to put me in the schedule as a "standby, " meaning they will come, but they cannot promise a specific time.

Their technician came around 11am and quickly fixed the capacitor and the AC was up and running before it got hot. Apparently, it is hard to find an HVAC company that works weekends, and I am truly grateful that AAA furnace was able to service me at the last minute. They saved the day and the weekend!

I would like to say how grateful we are to AAA Furnace for there wonderful team that put in our all new heating and air conditioning system. The furnace was 50 years old and we have never had air con for as as long as we owned our home ( 16 years) This was a big step for us and we are very pleased with the service and the professionalism. The work also included changing the routing of the dryer exhaust vent since the this vent must be at least five feet away from the condenser according to building code.

They also installed two of the latest Nest thermostats and routed power from the attic. They also routed the condensate drip line underneath the house to an area with good drainage, i.e., dirt. Previously, the line dripped onto concrete pavers next to the house which violates building code due to lack of adequate run-off. Certainly, AAA strived to meet all building code regulations.

The temp hit 101 in San Jose on a recent Saturday, and the air was a dirty yellow caused by smoke from the wild fires. And (of course) the AC went out at my 93-year-old mother-in-law's house, which was not safe for a person of that age with health issues. My wife called AAA Furnace and AC on Saturday morning and was told no techs were available, but they would put us on standby. Fortunately, Todd was able to come out that afternoon.

He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty fan motor. Todd installed a new motor and cleaned up the AC unit and the patio. By evening the AC was running again. My mother-in-law was comfortable and safe in her home again. Todd was professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. He answered all our questions about the repairs. He was also safe and wore a mask while he was working.

He even put up with a stray cat that was hanging around the back yard. Todd is an excellent representative of AAA Furnace and AC. We appreciate his work and would be happy to see him again for any future furnace or AC issues.

Excellent service. Outstanding customer care. They scheduled an appointment right away when the AC panel stopped working on a super hot 90 + degree summer afternoon. I'm so grateful for that. But it's not only about the same day scheduling flexibility, every technician is knowledgeable and knows what he or she is doing. Unlike other places which charge an arm and leg for service, these guys provide great suggestions and you end up saving money. Thorough professionals. Highly recommended.

We had previously used AAA at another home in the area and when the AC failed we went to them again. They were also recommended to us. When booking the appt no one said anything about a service fee to come out When the tech was here he did diagnosed and said the unit was 30 years old. He recommended some work, replacement, etc. Said we would get a estimate within 2 days.

A week later, no estimate. I called the office today to discuss where the estimate was and the charges. Their service charge, just to come out is $179. When I said this need to be presented to customers upfront, the manager stated "if they did, no one would use them". You are right. They are taking advantage of people. We are a single income family and this business practice is very manipulative and disgusting.

Our total bill was aprox $475 for a unit that was 30 year that needs to be replaced and has two leaks. The tech took it upon himself to add freon to the unit without testing if it would hold the freon, then charged us for it. Apparently they can use nitrogen to test the units to see if they can hold the freon. When they said what the total was the tech forced me to pay the bill or he would not leave.

What type of business does this. There was NO conversation or estimate of any charges. I am good with paying a trip charge, but almost $500 is ridiculous. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Cleary they have changed their practice and the way they do business. Read the review, multiple reviews mention this service charge and they so not discuss charges or estimates for people to make a decision.

Within a couple of days after we called they came out within their time window and replaced our attic fan and thermostat for a very reasonable price. Made quite a difference!

My dryer was not drying clothes after a complete cycle. My neighbor recommended AAA, so I called AAA for dryer vent cleaning service. Nathaniel and Thomas arrived during the time frame, they were polite and professional. My laundry room is in the middle of the condo, and the exhaust vent is just under roof outside, facing backyard. Nat made sure the long vent is cleared without lint by going up to the attic.

A lot of lint was out from the exhaust vent. Wow, It's like snowing! My dryer works fine after the cleaning. Thanks to the professional team. I'm satisfied with their work done, so I also purchased their one-year plan, which made me worry-free for the maintenance next year.

Robert is the best tech ever. Very knowledgeable and pays attention to detail. Not your blow and go guy.also, not bad for a "Grandpa" - CONGRADULATIONS! AAA has always done a great job and feeling of confidence that our HVAC is going to work properly.

Short story: Ahhhh, our AC is working perfectly. Long story: Our air conditioning failed to cool our home last week, so we called another company to come out and diagnose the issue. The first company basically told us we were out of luck and needed a new air conditioning unit and immediately tried to sell us a $7800 system. We hounded them for a written quote - and radio silence ensued.

We saw an advertisement in our community newsletter for AAA, and my husband scheduled a second opinion with them. Rob B. called us to tell us when he was on his way, very early into our expected window. He thoughtfully listened to my husband's concerns about our air conditioning unit. Rob was communicative and clear with what he was doing and why.

He carefully explained all of our options (none of which neared the $7k option from the other company). He checked and found the leak in our unit, sealed and refilled the coolant, and then threw in a discount for the maintenance service. and well below a $1K cost. Before leaving, Rob made sure our AC was pumping ice cold air into our oven of a home. I hope he heard the collective sigh of relief from my family. He should wear a cape for being the one who saved the day (and the Party of Four wallet).

Joseph came out for a service call when I suspected faint smell of gas coming from the furnace rear. The old ball valve was leaking and I was given a quote before any work was conducted. Joseph was very professional and had great customer service.

They will try to scam you, please be careful. They charge $170 to come out, but they don't want to do any work when they show up. Their goal is to upsell you service that you DON'T need. Most other companies put this amount towards the work you get done. I even asked this before they showed up, if they can fix the issue, or planning on diagnosing the issue and come back another time.

They specifically told me if they can fix the issue, they will fix it. I hate leaving reviews like this. I called them twice and explain the situation and asked to speak to a manager. They said they would call me back and nothing. I knew there was a red flag when they came out the next day. Most other places I called were booked out for two weeks.

The issue was when my paver installers put in the new pavers they had to move the AC and put it back. Once they put it back the AC didn't not turn on. When they came out they said that they put it back in correctly and I need to replace all the piping. If I don't, freon will leak out. However I asked him to put it in anyway since he just wanted to leave, so I told him to put it and if it ends up leaking I will just turn it off.

You guessed it! No leak. I feel bad that I didn't write this review sooner. I see their vans around my neighborhood and feel bad that they are taking advantage of my neighbors.
