I have had the pleasure to work with owners Greg and his wife, Dawn for the past few months until my system was installed just a few weeks ago. It's nice to enjoy that cool comfort of air conditioning. It took a few months to get the equipment delivered to Maui(Expected supply chain issues.) The entire process was painless; from estimate to installation.

Our dual, split system was installed in just 3 days, start to finish. They protected my home with drop cloths/shoe coverings, etc and installed the 5 interior units without damaging any flooring or walls. An amazing accomplishment. They outsourced the electrical work to Ikaika Lau Hee, who was very accommodating and efficient. He was in and out in only a few hours.

I want to mention the great job from the workers, Chris, Dean and Devon. Overall, everyone was hardworking, friendly and educational. More importantly was the company's honesty. I was to get a $400 Hawaiian Energy rebate for the system. Dawn found that the rebate had been increased to $650 and passed it on to us, including it in the final bill. Thanks Dawn! This has been a very positive experience.

She asked a lot of great questions to ensure the service I scheduled would be tailored for successfully repairing my issue, and she was tremendously kind, patient and friendly. This builds confidence in the service to come as finding great service communication has not always been customer driven like this was so thank you!

Windward air conditioning can't be trusted! The sold me Fugitsu units for my three bedrooms and a 24,000 btu unit for my living room. They informed me that if I had it serviced by them twice a year the five year warranty would be honored. I religiously had it serviced twice a year paying up to $500 per service. My units just hit five years and my living room unit is broken and my master bedroom unit broke because of bad equipment which Fugitsu ended up covering the parts, but Winward Air Conditioning charged over $2,000 of labor cost to install it--what a RIP off!

So much for honoring the warranty, they totally overcharged me and when I talked to the technician he said Fugitsu cut costs by making the coils thinner so that's why they don't last--thanks for telling me now! I wish I knew that before I paid $15,000 for my units, and had Windward A/C coming out regularly and charging me $500 plus dollars a service call and Not even seeing the problem--Really, what am I paying you for?

Good Air conditioning units last up to 20 years, but my units didn't even last five! When I reached out to Greg and Dawn Capobianco--the owners of Windward Air Conditioning--they pushed the blame to Fugitsu and was not willing to work with me on cutting down the steep labor costs even if they are the professionals and sold me a flawed unit! They have No class and have No Aloha Spirit! It's All about the money with them, so I Strongly recommend that you Never do business with that company!

A/C had a short between one of the control circuits. Windward diagnosed, ordered part and repaired everything in 48 hours. I'm a electronics guy and the technician that came out was perfect with their workflow. Nothing but love from these guys! Greg and Dawn are the best! Super awesome staff too. Call them, you won't be disappointed!

After 7 months the air conditioning unit broke and Windward will not service it because system was purchased by 1st owner only. This is a NEW UNIT and it should not break. Additionally Windward receptionist stated they were NOT TAKING ON NEW CLIENTS, which I am sure is not accurate. They won't even take money to repair the problem. Look at the reviews. Go elsewhere.

Here at Windward Air conditioning, still cant see how this place is getting anything other than 5 stars. very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Love the staff and highly recommend them for your Air Conditioning needs.

I have nothing but good things to say about my installation. Windward installed 4 split systems for me with 6 interior air handlers. Another company told me they could not put 2 air handlers on one out door condenser. Mine work like a champ. Installers were very good, neat and tidy. They did everything, I had to do nothing. Very competitive pricing. I give them 5 stars

Called for a estimate to put in ac split.no one called back.i donot understand why you are in business if you do not want to do business.go figure

Service guy Chris installed small, WRONG filter. I complained and they put me on a 'do not service list!' Some NERVE, the owner Greg and his office person Patti seem to take business for granted and are certainly not in the business of servicing customers! I am also reporting them to the BBB. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT STRESS and lack of care!

The prior owners of our condo were long term service clients with Windward. When we purchased the condo, we signed and continued a servicing contract with Windward. But when our air conditioning units (2 split system and compressor) needed to be replaced, we were met with anger and resistance. In fact, despite our contract, Windward refused to give us a bid on replacing the entire system. Sturdevant on Maui is a much better outfit. Go with them.

These guys are the absolute worst. Called them three times and they can't even be bothered to call you back. They have an attitude as well. Would never use them.
