We provide on-call Air Conditioning Repair Service 7 days a week via our answering service. One of our trained technicians is on call each night and will respond in a prompt manner if the need for an emergency repair service arises. Check your circuit breaker to make sure it has not tripped. If the breaker had tripped and it re-trips when you reset it - then call for repair service. Make sure the thermostat is set correctly, switched to "Cool" or "Auto" and leave the temperature setting on low for at least 5 minutes.
In our 30 plus years in this business, we have found that a large percentage of customers just don't "think" about their A/C unit until it's not functioning properly. With this in mind, M&S Air Conditioning has developed a Preventive Maintenance Agreement that alleviates the pressure of having to stay on top of your A/C unit.

We installed a new Mitsubishi 3-head mini-split system in our apartment. Our experience with M&S was very positive. First, Michael came out, reviewed our layout and requirements, built our system "on paper" while explaining our options step by step, and gave us a quote on the spot. Their services were all-inclusive, including electrical work and permitting.
Once on board, M&S navigated the project through some complicated requirements of the city and our own HOA. Cynthia and the front office staff kept us up-to-date with progress on that front. Greenlight(s) in place, M&S were right there, having prepped the equipment in the interim. Miguel, Roddi and the field team were professional and efficient and the work was installed in two days.
The work space was kept very clean. Best of all, M&S and their electrician was very clever in routing all the supporting spaghetti so that everything was concealed. The net effect for us was only that new units appeared on our walls. The system is quiet and efficient and really does the job--a lot like M&S!

Mike McDonald is a true professional and extremely knowledgeable. He was able to diagnose my a/c issue just by my explanation over the phone. Jonathan the service tech was just the same; courteous, professional and most importantly on time. He was able to repair the unit in a reasonable amount of time and now it's running like new. It pains me to have to write this review and rate Mike and his company so low, but after 6 months of misery after having him install a brand new unit, I finally feel that I have no choice. I purchased my home, an 1100 sq.ft. historic cottage, almost 7 months ago, and in less than a month, my a/c system broke down. I called Mike, the owner, because he had been servicing my unit in my previous home for over 5 years, and I was very happy with his company's service.
After sending a technician to evaluate the unit, Mike recommended replacing it. Mike personally came out to my home to determine the unit I would need, and he recommended installing a 3-ton unit stating that the back of the home wasn't getting enough air since it was an enclosed, Florida room. Initially, I questioned the size because I had the same size unit in my previous home which was 2500 sq.ft., but Mike insisted that the square footage had nothing to do with the unit I needed for this home.
I had no reason to not trust Mike's recommendation, as I told him, "he was the expert, " and he also gave me assurance that if my air-conditioning issues with the back room didn't improve, he would replace the unit with the 2.5, which was the original size of the old unit. Well, right after the installation, I didn't understand why the unit would turn on for 30 seconds and come back on within a minute or two.
I cannot remember the last time I had a peaceful night's sleep as this "short-cycling" is very disruptive. I have been a homeowner for over 20 years and it was my experience that a unit should run at least 15 to 20 minutes to cool and to control humidity in the home. Also, the back part of the home was still not cooling at all, and the humidity in the home was over 70.
I contacted Mike, and he suggested that I partially close some vents, and reminded me that I will continue to have high humidity because my home is an older, concrete home and also because my home is right on the intracoastal. This made no sense to me, as none of my neighbors, who also have historic homes, were experiencing what I was experiencing. Still, I followed Mike's recommendations and nothing improved.
I also kept asking Mike what was going on with the permit for the unit, as I had not heard from the City of Lake Worth Beach. He stated that they often take several weeks/months to get an inspector to come out and that he would look into the status of the permit and get back to me. It has now been almost 6 months since the installation of my unit, and in that time period, the following service calls were needed: (1) My thermostat was swapped out-Mike claimed my NEST was not appropriate for this new unit) (2) several adjustments to the thermostat Mike installed to correct the short-cycling (3) service calls for the unit not functioning properly (completely broke down on Thanksgiving Day while my family was here and we were cooking) (4) Swap out the unit from the 3-ton to the 2.5 ton (5) during the cold weeks here in Florida, I had no heat and the technician claimed the wires were not initially connected properly.
In addition, after numerous unreturned calls/emails about the permit that should have been filed initially in September, I finally contacted the City of Lake Worth Beach only to discover that a permit had never been filed for my unit. According to the City, they are not backed up and once the permit is issued, they will send their inspector out within a week.
I contacted M&S two weeks ago to tell them what I had discovered. M&S has completely stopped answering my calls/emails for them to figure out what is wrong with my unit. I trusted Mike and his crew to do right by a disabled woman who invested over 5,000.00 on a new unit only to continue to have to suffer and live with high humidity levels in my home and a unit that continuously short cycles.
It is my hope that writing this review will push Mike to honor his word and do what is right-to fix the issues so that my new unit functions properly & efficiently and finalize the permit inspection for the unit.

The M&S crew were awesome! They listened to what we wanted and worked with us to find the best ways to re-run the drain line for our a/c system, to re-insulate the refrigerant line, and to re-locate a vent in one of the rooms. For over 10 years these magicians kept my old system running. The annual contract saved me money and frustration and allowed me to meet and get to know every one of their technicians at one visit or another. This year the 'antique' finally bit the dust and M&S installed a new high efficient Rheem system in expeditious time. Great system, great price/value and great people. Very professional and helpful in the process. There was follow up by Mike through out the process. The was very open and honest and made sure we knew what were were entitled to in the warranty as well as the service. The team showed up and work quickly and job done in under the estimated time. The job site was cleaned well and we now have cold air in our bedroom! High recommend!

After numerous failed attempts to have our three year old split-system air conditioning system serviced by its original installer, we followed a recommendation on the Mitsubishi Electric website for Mitsubishi Diamond Contractors and found M&S Air Conditioning. M&S responded immediately and had a technician thoroughly clean and service the units with excellent results.
Later they efficiently solved a leakage problem with the balcony condenser unit. This was followed by the replacement of a burned out condensate evaporator pan. In all cases the immediate response for servicing by M&S was conducted in a highly satisfactory manner inspiring us with great confidence in the company. Eventually, even though it was only 3 years old, we realized we needed to replace our original system entirely. M&S removed the old units and installed a new Mitsubishi split system in a single day eliminating the unsightly piping and unnecessary electrical clutter that was left by the former installer.
The process was from start to finish smooth and professional. Every technician was thoroughly skilled and efficient. The office staff were polite and helpful in coordinating all aspects of the project and both Mike MacDonald, senior and junior, promptly answered every question and concern we had. We have nothing but praise for M&S. What a pleasure it is to work with a company that truly values its customers. 10 STARS for excellence to M&S Air Conditioning.

We’ve just replaced 4 old units in our home. M&S was prompt, reliable and courteous. Their pricing was in line with other bids I received and the work was done on time and skillfully. We have been using M and S for over 15 years. They installed a new AC unit and serviced it for the past 10 years. When we noticed a mildew odor we called for service and was told the unit was in good shape, no issues and they recommended we have the ducts cleaned which we did with a duct company. A few months later the odor was back. We called again for service and asked about the moisture in the house.
All checked out well according to the service technician. After many not the we contacted a restoration company who discovered moisture and mold in an adjacent wall and in the air. We were breathing the take air for several months now and had remediation done. My kids had to move out due to the odor. We then developed a leak from the inside handler and we called for service.
They checked the unit and replaced the the inside pump. During this period the odor increased so I contacted another air vendor who discovered mold throughout the handler and plenum. I called Mike and asked him to personally check my unit. All he offered was to sell me a device that he said would take care of the problem. We had to replace the AC unit but with a different vendor because I did not feel Mike the owner was supportive and I lost confidence with his company.
The mold was visible the 3 times that his technicians were checking my system and no one mentioned mold not once. We are mold free after 13 months of living in disarray, fear and breathing in dangerous air. I wrote two letters to Mike to let him know what happened. Months later he called me and insisted if he installed the Halo device it would have removed all the mold.
I told him no device would eradicate the amount of mold throughout the system and I send photos of the mold. He did not accept any responsibility, he asked what I wanted from him. I said an apology to start and some financial reimbursement for his company's gross negligence frustration, chaos in my home and most important the potential health issues he caused my family.
He said do what I have to do. We are so disappointed with Mike and his company whom we trusted for so many years. I hope Mike has a conscience and makes the right decision. I'm sorry but I don't buy your response, it is a cop out. When black mold is prevalent throughout the air handler and on the wires it is your service peoples responsibility to notify the customer even if you are not equipped to rectify the problem. We had service 3 times that year specifically for an odor and a mold check. It was blatant and obvious their was a visible issue which your company ignored.

Thanks for your exceptional customer service. We got the service plan with the installation of a new unit a few years ago. Of course the AC fails at the most inconvenient of times. Yesterday's temperature was 96 with a heat index over 100. It was a Saturday evening and we had houseguests. The tech was there within a few hours and had my guests sleeping comfortably by bedtime. I paid for a brand new AC unit in July and here it is December and I'm still not up to code because they can't do the job correctly or schedule anything they are supposed to and lie and lie and lie. I have literally sent hundreds of texts and called countless times and they refuse to do what they were paid for. I have literally expended all of my paid time off at work this year and have lost thousands and thousands of dollars dealing with their negligence and lack of professionalism. DO NOT USE THEM!

Betty and Vickie were the best to talk to on the phone for scheduling. Friendly and honest. They showed up exactly when they said the appointment was. My tech was friendly, clean - he wore booties inside the house! quick and proficient. I never felt like he was trying to upsell me on services not needed. He gave his honest assessment and said to call in to schedule for the future. M & S was the best!

Highly competent team at M&S. They were able to replace the AC unit in my rental house without requiring anything extra from me. When I asked for a quote they made the arrangements with my tenants and had the information to me almost immediately. The price they quoted was certainly fair for the job they were doing. I highly recommend them for one of your three quotes when you are getting bids on replacing a unit.
