Plumbing appointment 10am to 12 noon today booked on website two weeks ago. They tried to come at 8:15 am then they never showed by noon. I called and got the run around that they would come in late afternoon. Unacceptable! No courtesy call for running late and I had to reschedule for another week. Levy and Sons plumbing is unreliable. The air conditioning service last week showed up on time and very good service. Same company. Plumbers have no respect. A/C techs are great!

I discovered that my Hot Water Heater was leaking and I called Levy & Son about 4:00 pm. They scheduled a plumber to come out and replace the tank. Got a call back about 30 minutes later with cost, and time slot for putting it in that evening. about an hour later the plumber was there and starting to work on it. Finished the job before dark with excellent work. Very impressive.

Our 10 yr old water heater broke down last night. We called Levy & Son this morning and were placed on the earliest available appointment. They even beat that appointment by more than 2 hours and the two technicians who came out, Jacob and Emery, were exceptional. They quickly identified the issue and confirmed out suspicion that the equipment was beyond repair. Jacob provided us with several options for equipment, payment, and service.
We ultimately went with the service agreement and another water heater with a tank. Tankless was an interest of ours but with all the additional modifications that were needed we opted for the more conservative and equally high grade quality of a tank water heater. It was very helpful to understand the type of agreement and payment options that would fit us best and we never felt pressured to make a decision.
Once we talked it over, Emery and Jacob went to get the equipment and installed it in record time. Their professionalism, courtesy, and outstanding customer service will keep Levy & Son as an outstanding experience. My request to Levy & Son would be to continue keeping such great individuals on staff who can establish trust and integrity for your brand.

I scheduled a HVAC system maintenance and Hot Water Heater and Plumbing maintenance. They sent 2 techs out named Bryan and Austyn to do the maintenance. These 2 guys were great. They were on time and very professional throughout the whole visit. Very straightforward, easy to talk to and patient with all my questions. They gave a full assessment at the end of inspection with all the things they recommended I do but not with that pushy salesman red flag vibe.
They provided me with good value financial options that make things affordable should I decide to go forward with their recommendations. Ask about Member Plans and the Advantage Program. So far I am happy with my choice to use Levy and Son and feel confident in recommending them to others!

My family and I just moved into our first house and our AC unit was not working. Quincey Wesley (comfort advisor) and Brad (technician) offered us multiple solutions. Our units are older and instead of them pressuring us into replacing the units like other companies suggested, they recommended that we did the repairs ($350) to keep the units running for the time being since the repairs aren't too expensive. When it's time to replace our units, we are definitely going to call and request this crew! Very personable and respectful

I have been a loyal customer of Levy & Son for over 15 years. I have used their plumbing and HVAC Services. Today they resolved a tricky plumbing issue. Garry came out and did an OUTSTANDING JOB! He is a gentleman and superb plumber. Machelle at the office went above and beyond to very kindly and courteously get me to the right plumber and ensure that all went well with my appointment. Ruben, the supervisor, personally called too to make certain I was happy with my appointment arrangements.
I told Garry I hoped he would never retire as he is a remarkable professional! We also use the HVAC services and can't say enough good tings about Juan. He is an exemplary professional. Tyler and Cameron were the assigned technicians for the repair I was in need of and I Can't speak highly enough about their professionalism and overall work/service to meet my repair needs. Austyn N. came today for a heating and AC maintenance appointment. He was a bit early, was very pleasant and professional, and took pictures of items that had potential problems. He explained what needed to be done either today or at a future time. I asked him to do all that was needed today and he completed the work efficiently and cleaned up very well.
He also showed me after pictures of his work. I was totally pleased with his work and his explanation of why the work was needed. I would highly recommend him to anyone and would hope he could return the next time I need a maintenance check.

I had them come out when I was having issues with my garbage disposal and he was able to fix it in just minutes by pushing a reset button on a garbage disposal and I was charged $190 for literally 2 minutes of work. They also gave me an estimate to install a water filter system designed to be installed by the consumer. I was quoted about $780 to. install the filter which is advertised as a 30-minute process, and they said they couldn't even do it the same day. I got a quote from somebody else and they could do it for $125. I'm very disappointed and upset for being overcharged and thankfully I was able to cancel the $780 service.

Been using these guys for 15 years or longer. Always good service. Only problem is that since they sold out to the national company, they always send a sales guy along with the service tech and they push their equipment leasing program so you can make perpetual payments on an air conditioner you never get to own. I just keep saying NO. But the techs are great. Austin has been here a few times and so has Jay and they're always good.

We've been customers of theirs and the predecessor companies for 35 years and were huge fans, but the company's commitment to its customers has changed. Despite an expensive service contract and $20k in new equipment over the last 14 months, they no longer seem to care about their customers. AC broke Saturday at 4:30 in the afternoon. 10 phone. calls to Levy - multiple times on hold, once literally for 30 minutes and several disconnects - and we sleep (somewhat) downstairs on sofa for promised tech who never appears.
Finally someone arrives at 8 PM Sunday - 28 hours after we called. AC breaks again at 4 the very next afternoon, Monday. Three more lengthy calls. First promised someone 6 - 8. At 8 we call and are told there's no record of an appointment. We're promised a tech by 10. When we call at 10 we're told no one's coming and we can't get on the schedule even for Tuesday. Truly tragic. A formerly great, service- oriented company that now no longer cares about its customers. Very sad.

Cancelled first appt. the day they were supposed to show up. Did show up for second appt. I think their M.O. is to always recommend that you need a new capacitor. I did not realize that we had replaced the capacitor in 2018 so I authorized them to replace it it again in 2021. Now I have a folder listing all the parts and dates replaced so that won't happen again. Also they shredded the cardboard on the old filter when trying to replace it. There may be a piece of cardboard left in the system.

Called and was told it was $99 to come out and they were very tight lipped about how much they charge. Then, the plumber called and said it would actually be $99 plus $189 and $1600 if they had to dig outside. It was a minor repair and we took care of it with a $37 fix. Very disappointed they would try to take advantage. They did offer to not charge the $189 if I did it the day after, but $1600 is still ridiculous. They didnt seem to.understand much about outdoor water lines.

Thank goodness for Levy & Son. We’d been without use of the kitchen sink for a week. Initially they had to cancel our appointment to attend to the more urgent cases around town, but much to my surprise I received a call this afternoon that they could send someone our way after all! The plumber who visited today — at the end of what I can only imagine was a long and stressful day given all of the winter storm-related damage around town — fixed the problem quickly and cheerfully. We appreciate you, Levy & Son.

We have had a maintenance agreement with Levy and Sons for years. This year It is taking 2 months to get maintenance on my air conditioning units. Took one month for appt. today. They cancelled and next available date was July 16. I asked to talk with a manager. They hung up on me. I called back and was told manager was on the phone but there was an opening on July 9. I asked to speak with a manager again and was told he "may" call me back. We have been customers with Levy and Sons for 20 YEARS! THIS is UNACCEPTABLE!!!

We had a leaking Outdoor faucet. I called Levy & Son in the evening at 7:15pm. A serviceman Matt Jacob was dispatched out and arrived at 8:00pm. He identified the problem right away. Then we discussed the prices for a few options. He was able to fix the issue for the cheaper price. I recommend Levy & Son business. They were all very professional and nice as well.

Very good experience with Levy and Son, I called at 3am after my AC was not cooling, someone picked up the phone even at this late hour and I was scheduled for 8am. Tech Terri showed on time and replaced the capacitor. Didn't try to rip me off or up sell. Good price and would definitely recommend this company.

We had two plump problems, a toilet that needed to be reseated and a sewer line that needed to be unstopped. Patrick was very knowledgeable on the toilet issue and did excellent work. Ben did the sewer job and also was an expert and did excellent work. They both ran into unexpected issues and handled them well and the office manager, Alex was fair in how they handled the unexpected items. The only negative was the back office scheduling is a mess.

I do NOT recommend. They are overpriced ($1050) for half a day while the tech sat in his car alone for over 30 minutes the last two times he came and wandered around the yard for another 30). Then he argued with me about the unit still not working until I insisted he recheck and sure enough he found something he had forgotten to do. If you ask for a manager, it will not happen!
I just want to be treated with respect and consideration without being seriously overcharged and this is not the company for that. They leave and you discover things are still not working right and then you have to take off of work to let them come and fix it again. Look elsewhere.

A poor representation of the company is when your driver is driving recklessly on the highway clearly in a rush while endangering other drivers. 1) Either the drivers are not being told to drive carefully 2) the company is scheduling the drivers with not enough travel time, which shows they have poor logistical planning.

Had an appointment with Levy and Sons for a Saturday am. They never showed up. I called and Crystal stated she called and left me a message. Never got the message. She said they had double booked the Saturday morning and they could reschedule. The problem they were coming out to fix was the issue they created. The last "check up" Joe pushed through our drip pan causing it to completely break.
He also pulled apart our drainage pipe thus creating condensation water to run down our walls. This was the 3rd time they came out and had a huge upsale on what we needed. I even watched one of their service men letting Freon out of our unit. When I said something he went and refilled our Freon. This company is not about the customer but about selling new units and are very unprofessional about the way they go about it. They will NEVER set foot in my home ever again!

Called in early morning for service. Was on hold for sometime. Booked appointment on Web instead. Never received any notification that anyone was responding and called another provider to repair our heater. Tech from Service Experts responded and I thought it was the provider I spoke to on the phone. He determined I needed a blower motor $646. Actual cost $180. Blower Wheel $271.
Not needed just needs cleaning. A new capacitor $138. One is usually included when you buy a motor. Costs less than $20. Total bill quoted $1055. BUT if you buy their service plan it is $897. Buyer beware. Charged $89 service call fee since I declined service. Referred me to Comfort Specialist to replace my unit. I just want a no nonsense Tech to repair my heat.

Had a great experience with Bernie (Bernabe) today, who returned to assess a capacitor losing amps that we had replaced in 2016. Service Experts made a 2nd service call @ no charge to us, to recheck capacitor and even checked capacitors on A/C units. Everything was explained very thoroughly to me, and, there was not a need to replace, again, but furnace is 11 yrs. old and just past the manufacturer's 10 yr. warranty. Felt like Service Experts really put out the customer service to me, as I've been a long time customer. Oh, what a great feeling, these days!

I called to have this company come check out a/c before it gets really hot as our units are older than 6 years. My technician, Jose was absolutely the best! Professional, courteous and very knowledgable. He used my garden hose to check the outside units and when I went outside after he left, my hose had been rolled back up and put away neatly. Would recommend!

We've been using this company for more than a decade for our AC and furnace maintenance. During a recent tune up we were told that our units were at the age when small problems start to turn into expensive problems, and I had no qualms about buying a new AC and furnace from Service Experts. I believe that we got a decent price and they worked with me on a payment schedule, so that was appreciated.
The installation team showed up on time early in the morning. I won't go into all of the gory details, but installation took 8 hours, and then they took another 4 hours trying to figure out why nothing worked. Finally, in the evening they left and I had an incompletely installed AC. They did set it so the old thermostat would work so at least we had AC that night.
My understanding was that a technician would arrive around 4pm the next day to finish the install. At 5:10 they called to say the guy could not make it but they could send someone else who would arrive around 6:30pm. I declined. On the third day they sent a technician who arrived before 8am and worked for 3.5 hours getting the install done correctly.
Everything is now working and the install is finally finished. The installation was a trying ordeal, but in the end I am hopeful that the unit I bought will last a long time and give me the energy savings that were promised. I would go 3.5 stars because they did try hard, stuck with it, and did a decent job cleaning up, which is rare these days.
