Great Service, by the Primus Heating Team. Jack was amazing and carried out the works to a high quality standard. His quote was in line with what i paid and the works were done within his original communicated timeframe.

Jack did a great job in fitting an unvented water cylinder in our new home. Jack offered a few creative solutions which other plumbers didnt think of - and he delivered exactly what he said he was going to deliver. He's a great communicator too - setting expectations from the outset and providing updates along the way. A pleasure to have around the home!

I cannot recommend Jack from Primus Heating enough for his level of workmanship and excellent customer service. He's carried out several jobs for us now including a new boiler installation. Jack is tidy, turns up on time and every job is priced fairly - thank you!

Jack recently fixed an electric shower for me (put in new pump and temp control bar) and also changed a bathroom tap. Great service. Polite, professional and explained everything in layman's terms, so work involved and pricing was clear from the outset. Turned up when he said he would. And when we had a slight issue with the replacement tap, he dealt with it promptly - all fine now. Good job and fair price. Happy to recommend.

I have had Jack from Primus heating attend my plumbing issues several times now from new showers to a broken boiler but most recently was because of water dripping through my kitchen ceiling. I contacted Jack and he quickly made an appointment that suited both of us to come and assess the situation. He found a loose connection under the bath which was tightened and there hasn't been a leek since.

The reason I keep going back to Primus heating is because they're easy to deal with and do what they say they'll do. they go out of their way to make sure you aren't inconvenienced, no waiting in all day for someone to maybe show up, no leaving you in the dark with what's going on and all at a very reasonable price. Finding trades you can trust enough to pass onto your family is usually a challenge but with Primus Heating it's a no brainer. I would happily recommend Primus heating to anyone with a heating or plumbing need!

Not an hour has passed since this review was posted that Primus resumed the harassing calls informing me that I have 24 hours to pull this historically accurate and factual posting or he would sue me for "Slander". ****************************************** Concerned about the hidden cost of service? TIP: Check costs before you invite anyone out to work on your system(s).

I found Primus's $85 trip charge to be somewhat reasonable. But the cost of Freon? Not so much. A quick check on eBay indicates these folks pay not more than $25 per pound of R22 for their Freon and then charge you the stated price of $100. When asked why, the smug response was. "Well, that's capitalism." My response. "Well, when you charge 4 times what something costs, that leaves the consumer feeling ripped off.

So here's something else about capitalism you should know. People won't use you when they feel ripped off." My thoughts: There's just something not right about being told I should be happy about being ripped off simply because "That's capitalism". That would be why I concluded the call. I suppose the vendor subsequently decided our discussion wasn't over, so he immediately called back to lecture me, rather aggressively.

I hung up. A few seconds later, he called again. I didn't answer. So in the end, the decision to not use Primus is more than justified by their absurdly expensive (in my opinion) Freon and their aggressive response to (pre)customer feedback.

I have used Primus since about 2005. Highly recommended. Great service, very honest. Great for diagnosing HVAC issues and replacing only what needs fixing and not suggesting unneeded repairs. Primus just did a full replacement for a family member of mine in a single long day to minimize any time without AC. Look Primus up next time you need services or repair.
